Follow below steps RELIGIOUSLY, if u do so u wld smile at d end BUT if u miss a step u may refer your phone useless.
Rooting then installing a custom recovery are d first steps before u can safely flash any custom ROM of your choice. DONT PAY ANYBODY FOR THIS GUIDE.
now here is a good method of root and porttin cwmr on gionee m2

- This installs a Chinese root manager
rather than superuser or superSU. But I
will teach you how to replace it below.
Instruction:
1. Download the rooting application. (This
app can root many other devices )
2. Download & Install the app.
(DL Link Below)
3. Start and root now!
(first Option)
[wait till all four options are ticked good
'√' then exit]
4. Now we need to install SuperSU from
play store or externally ( link below) to
replace the Chinese root manager called
( RootMaster)
5. Go to play store and install SuperSU. or
Download below(I used the the one
below)
6. Start SuperSU and you will be asked for
permission
by RootMaster, choose (allow). (Should
be the right side option.)
7. SuperSU will prompt to install SU
binary, go ahead with OK and it will
display successful.
8. Now, freeze "RootMaster" in titanium
backup,
download an app that needs root access and grant it root access to see if it has successfully changed to super user

u will use dis app to flash it: Check out "[ROOT] Rashr - Flash Tool" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools

den enter d rashr and grant it root access
den somthing will show just click continue anyway
den click recovery and click on sdcard something den look for d folder u kept the recovery.img den click on it and choose yes please den it will say AR u sure u want to flash dis recovery click on yes please den reboot c cry h

den back up ur fone by entering backup from recovery mood mind u dis is touchscreen not scrolling with button
