there is only action and reaction. negative actions and its negative consequences can be regarded as evil.

Soul travel- is it only about its realm or it also
deals with the past life before it incarnates?

1. Is there anyway of telling if suffering is caused by
our karma or otherwise ?
For the millions dying of starvation today is this as a
result of past karma?

every reaction has a causation and without causation there can never be a reaction. There is no victim. Every thing that is happening now is as a result of a past action. This is a law guiding the lower universes and God does not make mistakes nor does It have favourites. Whatever is sown by souls that they shall reap.

2. What is the stand of you Ecks in the Christianity
concept of hell,heaven and Satan?

hell and heaven are not places. They are states of consciousness. A hellish state of consciousness is that filled with negativity and someone who is expressing negativity is already in hell as it is.

Whereas someone filled with positivity, love and goodness is already in heaven no matter the person's location.

If you do not achieve a heavenly state of consciousness while you are in the physical when you translate you will naturally be drawn to areas in the inner planes that correspond to your negative state of consciousness and will later be required to reincarnate again to work off the negativity preventing that soul from going back to God.

That is why the statement heaven is here and now is quite true. those who have been able to develop divine love naturally gravititates back to God to be given divine assignment to serve life.

Satan who we know as Kal, is actually the headmaster of the schools in the lower universes where souls are sent to learn love. Satan administers the temptations and those who pass goes home back to God and those who keeps on failing keeps reincarnating and repeating their lessons until they pass, only then are they allowed to enter the pure spiritual planes.

3. Is God personified , like Christians pictures their
god sitting on a throne presiding and judging? I
use Christianity as an example cos is one of the
religions I once identified with.

God is impersonal. The closest we come in experiencing God is through the Holy Spirit which is the essence of God which can be seen as a light with the spiritual eyes and heard as a sound with the spiritual ears.
The Holy Spirit is the source of all truth and in it we live move and have our being. It is through the Holy spirit we go back home to God when we have attained spiritual maturity

4. Is karma generational until the circle is
completed?

as long as it takes. The circle continues until the souls that started it decides to end it. What usually ends a karmic circle is love and forgiveness.
Eg. If john kills steve in a lifetime, in the next life, steve will be given the opportunity to retaliate and if he does the circle reverses and it becomes a vicious circle generation after generation until one of then now decides to forgive and not retaliate.

5. DREAMS - l would say the Pillar or Bedrock of my
believing the supernatural . Why dream it if it (the
negative) cannot be averted? Could it be
destiny,like playing out a script?

the fact that you dreamt it means it can be averted. But it depends on the level of your spiritual maturity. Destiny too can be changed if you are growing spiritually

6. Soul travel and dreams how related?

dreams are souls experiences in the inner worlds while the physical body is sleeping so the awareness of the individual is diminished.whereas soul travel is expansion of consciousness into the inner worlds and can be done while the body is sleeping and even while fully awake.
The main difference is the degree of awareness. In soul travel you have full awareness and in total control and with vivid and clear recollection of the experience while in dreams the awareness is diminished and the dreamer most times is not in control and may not fully remember the experience.

Ready Soul - This seems to be a difficult task. How I wish the spiritual masters can be more physical

being a Ready soul, is a natural progression of soul, after several lifetimes in the lower worlds and learning the primary lessons that it requires to mature, it is then approached by the Spiritual Masters in the inner to complete its training and become a master itself and take up its rightful place in the Kingdom of God.

the Spiritual Masters are present both physically and spiritually, but if the proper inner preparations has not been made, you will not be able to recognise them even if they are standing in front of you physically.
what makes me laugh about Christians is that they make so much noise about Jesus Christ, but the funny thing is that if Jesus is to appear physically to them they will definitely reject him and will even crucify him again. why? because they already have a preconceived notion about how he will appear.

The Masters are not interested in fulfilling anyone's fantasies about them or their spiritual role, they quietly work in the background assisting the serious souls to stand on their feet as they make the journey back to the Godhead

to become a chrisian mystic, you have to start with seeking more revelations on what you read in the Bible from within through meditation.

i was led to ECKANKAR by the Holy Spirit, as the next step on my spiritual journey.

The Holy Spirit which is also known as The ECK, in ECKANKAR. Is the repository of all truth, and it is not the prerogative of any religion and from it all religions have their origin as each collects a part of the truth from it.

Each individual soul is allowed according to its level of consciousness to gradually unfold following any religion that is more in tune with its inner inclination and just like in a school system, when you are done with one level you are taken to the next level.

So really all these fighting between religions are simply not necessary, that is why souls are encouraged to be inner directed because when you are able to make contact with the Holy spirit you will discover that there are really no dichotomies and that we are all one and the same. The only thing that differentiates us is our individual level of consciousness.

The spiritual masters both past and present are all working harmoniously in the inner planes helping souls that are ready to realize the truth within themselves. This is the reason why becoming a mystic, which of course cuts across all religions is a very important first step in ones spiritual journey.

A christian mystic is one who has gotten rid of the sheep mentality and has started realizing his relationship with God.


he no longers depend on his pastor for revelations from God or for interpretation of the Holy Scriptures.
He has started realizing the deeper meaning of the teachings of Jesus Christ and has made contact with the Holy Spirit which has started leading him to all truth as promised by Jesus.


he has also started realizing the great importance of love as the all and all, the beginning and the end of all scriptures. And he strives to serve life without judging but only giving out the love that flows through him to life.

Thanks for inviting me to comment on this thread, otherwise i wouldn't have bothered as the op made it clear that he didn't open this thread to learn about mysticism but rather to warn christians to stay away from it.


To me mysticism is serious business and not something to abuse or toy with having been a christian mystic myself before i became an ECKist.


What drives us to become mystics is a burning inner desire to go beyound the scriptures to have a more personal relationship with God that is outside the confining dictates of orthodox religious groups and the experiences you have you already know you can never share with others who are not of like mind because they will never understand.


The mystic will remain a highly misunderstood person in a society that is becoming more and more outer directed, materialistic and depending on books for everything spiritual.


i prefer reserving my comments for souls on the threshold, those who have started seeking beyound the books and those who are ready to know God for what It really is and not what a book told them that It is.

But you don't really know much about spiritual wife and husband,this spirit is tormenting my life,I've not in anyway went for any material things like power or money,and it started as young as 5 to 6 years old when I was in primary school

obviously you did not read my post very well or you did not understand it. maybe the reason you did not understand is that you are not aware that there is reincarnation and things you did in a previous lifetime will follow you to the next lifetime, there is no escape even death can not save the person. from your own case, for the fact that it started very early points to a past life causation and of course you have forgotten.

that is why in my post i made it very clear that the first step is to take full responsibility if you are ready. then in contemplation ask the Holy Spirit how the problem came about. it is only when you know the cause of a problem that you can really exterminate it from the root if not all you will be doing is treating symptoms and window dressing and of course the problem will still manifest in another way.
ask sincerely and you will be shown how you created the problem for yourself in a past life. this is obviously very difficult to accept depending on your belief. but the experience you will have will teach you what is truth and what is illusions.

there is a lady i know who had similar problems like yours and it took courage for her to accept responsibility and after doing the spiritual exercises she was clearly shown how in her past life she created the bond between her and the spirit that was tormenting her and with the aid of the spiritual exercises the bond was dissolved and she became free.

i am not trying to convince you to accept my explanation or to believe what i am telling as it is totally not necessary, really i wouldn't care less as you have your life to live as you see fit, i am only doing it because you asked.

just as you had the courage to ask me, just take an extra step and ask the Holy spirit with an open heart and see what happens.

There are spirits called elementals who are in charge of material things like money, fire, water, etc. these elemental are lower in evolutionary scale than man. but man in his insatiable quest for money and power will through occult practices make a pact with these elementals in exchange for gaining money or power.

this pact usually follows the individual through lifetimes when the individual may have even forgotten when he made the pact, these elementals will now appear in the guise of spiritual wife or spiritual husband and will maintain the bond with the individual who will now perceive it as a spiritual attack not knowing that he is the one that initiated it in the first place.

to be free of the bond first you have to accept total responsibility that your problems were caused strictly by you and nobody is after you.
then you have to pay the karmic debt that you incurred when you made the pact.

doing a spiritual exercise like singing of the HU song will help you in freeing yourself, first it will open your awareness and you will remember how you created the debt in the first place, then it will start the process of spiritual purification during which things will really be tough for the person as he runs off the debt that brought on the problem, at the end of the tunnel of course there is light and spiritual freedom.
mark my words though, it is not a day's affair. it takes time depending on the person's determination and endurance and patience.

ECKANKAR is a spiritual path and is primarily concerned with soul realizing itself and realizing God, so usually we do not concern ourselves much with social or political issues which most religions grapple with.

as a spiritual path we do not work with believes. we work with realization of truth as it is and this comes through inner experiences, that means if we tell you that soul is immortal, you will have the experiences to back it up which will be your authority.

first soul is neither male nor female, it is only when soul needs to come down to the lower worlds to experience life here that it takes on a male or female body. the physical body is just like a cloth worn by soul and nothing more. killing the physical body does not kill the soul in any way but rather soul simply moves on and picks up another body to continue its experiences and soul usually enters the physical body at the point of delivery, it then fully activates the body and the baby then starts taking its first breath.

in matters, concerning homosexuality, ECKANKAR does not judge the issue in any way, but one thing is clear as experienced in ECKANKAR, when a person starts doing the spiritual exercises, he/she is gradually transformed into a GOD-like being and if there is any trait or bad habit, or negative behaviours that is getting in the way of the person going back to God, it is gradually swept aside by the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit and the person truly becomes a new being.

as usual we do not beg any one to believe or try to convince anyone, realization of truth is a journey each soul must undertake when It is ready.

it is a gradual process. it starts with recording your dreams in a dream book, and doing your spiritual exercises diligently morning and night.

in ECKANKAR, we do not interpret people's dream. here you are being trained to become a Master yourself so nobody spoon feeds you. you have all the potential and ability within yourself, we just give you the keys to unlock them yourself.

to be able to interpret your dreams, start by recording your dreams in a dream book, upon awaking in the morning then do a spiritual exercise again, and in contemplation ask the inner master the meaning of the dream, then go into silence and listen. the answer can come in various ways, it can come up during the contemplation, or during the day as you are going about the day's work or even in another dream. you have to be alert to catch it as it comes.

the word he asked you to sing is a spiritually charged word that can open your inner awareness to the cause of any problem you have.


the issue of shouting or not shouting the blood of jesus is a funny one indeed. my observation is that Christians usually shout it when they are afraid. inner spiritual adventures does not require you to be afraid at all because you are soul and nothing can harm you. exhibiting any form of fear, will immediately shut down your inner vision and the experience you are having will stop immediately.

the path to God requires one to be bold, courageous and adventuresome. it is not for the meek in spirit.

concerning the issue of registration. meet the spiritual services co-ordinator of any ECKANKAR centre close to you and explain to him about your monetary plight. currently you are encouraged to donate whatever you have no matter how small. what matters is your sincerity and not the amount. if really in all sincerity you can not afford the suggested donation, you can write a letter to Sri Harold Klemp, telling him your intention to become a member and that you have no money. expect a reply which can come in the inner or in the outer. just keep an open mind.

as the consciousness of people continues expanding in this present era, these questioning of the myopic theological views expounded by the orthodox religions will be on the increase. these views present God as a bigoted, wicked, merciless being who is also confused leading to the escalation of the different points of views in matter concerning it.

but when you take a closer look, you will find out that it is not God who is confused, bigoted, wicked or merciless but rather it is man trapped in a lower state of consciousness.

man in trying to understand God starts out by ascribing the negative qualities found in himself unto God.
God has only one quality, which is Love and only love and all the things that go along with love.

God does not give a damn about an individual's religion or tribe, all that It is interested in, is that soul will mature and start expressing the Godlike qualities that is potentially within it, which is nothing but divine love.
until man comes to this realization, the confusion will continue and of course the questioning that follows it.

the mill of God grinds slowly but surely. the fact that those who are commiting evil seems to be having a good time should not deceive you at all.

the Lords of Karma are not in a hurry. at the right time, when the payment is due, they will simple heap all the debts back on the persons head and the person now finds himself running helter skelter and will not know what is happening to him and will even blame the devil.

what should bother you more is your own relationship with God and how well you are doing with learning your spiritual lessons.
