Pere never said that, he was just joking with boma about sex that he picked the wrong housemate, because Maria was denying him sex, it was a normal male to male banter and Cruise, it does not mean that if given the chance again, he won't pick Maria again. He is still going to pick Maria again.

Ebuka shouldn't have said that at all, it was not fair to pere and Maria was clearly hurt, she felt embarrassed and betrayed.

Sometimes Ebuka ask insensitive questions.
