Firstly, impersonation and forgery is a criminal act and attracts up to 7 years jail term unless the complainant decides to withdraw the case and focus on the civil part of the case!

Secondly,are you advocating that Blord should not be held accountable for such crime?
If your answer is no,then you are one of the problems of Nigeria!

Kudos to Sowore. Except for capital offense, no one should be denied freedom for more than 48 hours on a bailable offense. VDM should know better.

We shouldn't be praising the 'legal' denial of liberty. Using remand warrants to criminalize civil disputes is a dangerous precedent, regardless of who is behind it. It’s disappointing to see someone like VDM capitalize on judicial loopholes to settle a grudge. Detention by court order is still a denial of rights when it's used as a weapon.

That basic principle of fights for social justice flew over the head of many people on this issue. Sowore is consistent.

If I may ask....how is impersonation and forgery of someone's identity a civil matter according to the Nigeria constitution?

Secondly,was VDM the one who remanded Blord in prison or the courts?

Thirdly,does Sowore have the right to ask for the discontinuance of a case that bothers on impersonation and forgery?

Isn't that left for the complainant who can decide whether or not to push the case any further?
