Jeboy: On a 2nd note, what if the insufficient financial situation here is referring to your wife, remember she is d one coming to join you and the visa officer will require she has strong home tie.
I advise you increase her biz profile in Nigeria and do a lot of transactions to her.
Let the 20m be in her account while the 17k CAD in your account and get like 5k CAD deposit payment on your school fees and try again.
Better still wait for d gcms note.
This was d reason my spouse was denied initially until I boosted her profile with paid job. Transfers from me and offer letter/letter of leave of absence. how long is the 20m supposed to be in her account? |

No. At POE, just present receipt of tuition deposit you have paid. Then hold evidence of your funds in your acct just incase you are asked to show it. It's at the discretion of the Immigration officer. okay, thanks 🙏 |

zubizareta: Since you said POF is indeed available then I will advise you pay 1 full year. This will go a long way to demonstrate full availability of your funds especially as you plan to go with the whole family. Also don't forget to show proper documents for source of the funds what if your visa is approved without paying the whole first year tuition fee. will you have a problem at the point of entry? |

I got admission for a masters program, my school allows me to pay only 5kCAD out of 25k for the first year then i can apply for visa. Do you think i will have an issue at the Point of entry if my visa is approved after i pay only 5k as allowed by my school? |

zubizareta: You already answered the question. Only MSc and PHD are exempted. When does this start? Because i heard Mac Miller say in the coming weeks…. Does that mean it is not yet implemented? |

Link not working Excelasa: Hello,
I’ve got a couple of request from people who are going to school in May or September this year on how we can support each other. As a result of this, I have created this WhatsApp group to serve as a support group for us all to interact and discuss things around securing accommodation, flight booking, landing, navigating school and any other necessary information that may be useful. Please join via this link: https:///HY4lJ0kVoXPEi7tTp9Yi8Z
Just so you know that I did my application all by myself- from admission, to getting scholarship, and finally visa approval. I may have one or two tips that could be helpful. I look forward to connecting with you all.
Cheers! |
