CrimeHarrison K From Kenya Was Jailed For 100 Years For Raping 3 Girls In Church by benzems(op):
A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to 100 years in jail for sexually abusing three girls in a church in the village of Kangaru in central Kenya.

Harrison Kinyua, 20, admitted trapping the girls in the church last December as they returned chairs borrowed for a funeral, the AFP news agency reports.

At the time two of the girls were aged 13 and the other 10.
After molesting the girls he bought them chips to buy their silence but they still told their parents about the incident, AFP says.

In his ruling, Magistrate Maxwell Gicheru, who heard the case in Embu town, said the evidence proved without any doubt that Kinyua had committed the crime,

How scientists named insects, animals and places after 13 Pop Star and Celebrities

It is no longer news that naming your pet in Nigeria attracts Police arrest, jail and prison just like Joe who named his Dog after Buhari.
Read Here: Man who named his Dog Buhari saga and update
But what you are going to see here will surprise you as Scientists have named 13 different things after celebrities!

1. Asteroid named after Freddie Mercury

An asteroid has been named after the late great Queen singer Freddie Mercury to honour what would have been his 70th birthday on 5 September. It might seem like an extraordinary gesture, but Asteroid 17473 Freddiemercury is by no means the only object in space - or on earth for that matter - named after a rock star. Scientists and astronomers, paleontologists and arachnologists count many music fans among their number, meaning all manner of strange things, whether animal, vegetable or mineral, are named after their favourite musicians.
Here are 12 examples of unexpected things in the known (and unknown) world that have taken the names of famous musicians.

2. Fossils named after Mick Jagger

Headline writers the world over were presented with an open goal when news broke that a prehistoric fossil had been named after Mick Jagger. Jaggermeryx naida, or 'Jagger's water nymph', apparently lived around 19 million years ago in Africa, and is so named because of its large protruding lips. "I'm a huge Stones fan," said Dr Ellen Miller, of Wake Forest University in North Carolina. "Some of my colleagues suggested naming the new species after Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, because she also has famous lips, but for me it had to be Mick."
And The Rolling Stones singer isn't the only rock star who's had a fossil named after him. Each member of the Sex Pistols and the Ramones has a trilobite named in their honour, while scientists called a 'muscular' fossil fireworm, Rollinschaeta myoplena, after thick-necked punk menace Henry Rollins.

3. Ferns named after Lady Gaga

We've heard of celebrities being named after Ferns (Cotton, Britton...), but never a fern being named after a celebrity. In fact, in the case of Lady Gaga, it's more like 19 species of fern, all part of the same genus. "We wanted to name this genus for Lady Gaga because of her fervent defence of equality and individual expression," said Professor Kathleen Pryer of Duke University. "And as we started to consider it, the ferns themselves gave us more reasons why it was a good choice." The plants are hermaphroditic, or "bisexual" if you will, and the letters GAGA were stamped into its DNA. In other words, they were fern that way.

Kenya Police kills three women attackers of Mombasa police station

Three robed women tricked their way into a Mombasa police station where they stabbed one officer and set fire to the building with a petrol bomb before being shot dead, an officer and a witness said on Sunday.

The city of Mombasa, with a large Muslim population on the coast of Kenya, has been targeted by Islamist militants in recent years although the frequency of attacks have subsided.

Under the pretext of reporting a stolen phone, the women walked into the police station on Saturday morning, a knife and petrol bomb concealed in their traditional Buibui robes.

“While being questioned by officers, one drew a knife and the other threw a petrol bomb at the police officers,” Patterson Maelo, Mombasa County Police Commander, told reporters at the scene.

CrimeThe 10 Rules Of Ibadan Drug Barons In ‘evil Forest’ by benzems(op):
The guiding rules of Ibadan Drug barons

The destruction of 68 acres of cannabis sativa farm in Gambari forest, Ibadan, Oyo State, was like a war front.
A combined team of armed soldiers, Civil Defence, Department of State Security Service (DSS), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and forest management officials, operating under the aegis of Operation Burst, trooped into the forest to destroy a plantation harbouring cannabis sativa commonly known as Indian hemp or marijuana.

The plantation is located within Olounde village, Ogunmakin. The armed team drove for hours through ldi- Ayunre village to lki-Oke Alayo to access the forest.

The destruction of the weed itself lasted several hours as the farm appeared to have no end. Forest management officers cleared the weed with cutlasses, NDLEA officials went round to spray chemicals on it while the soldiers surrounded the farm for protection.

After so much work, the security operatives appeared like local farmers with stains all over them. The discolouration was so conspicuous on their uniform.

The NDLEA Director of Operations and General Investigation, Mr. Mabo Olugbenga, who came from Lagos headquarters, had led the way into the forest. Gaining access into the was a big challenge, as the team drove from Ibadan through several villages. They passed through lki- Oke Alayo village, ldi Ayunre, among other communities, before getting to the forest. After passing Iki-Oke Alayo village, everyone had to trek into the forest for hours as the farm location had no roads. The bush paths were rough with streams and swampy areas making movement difficult.

On getting to the farm, the marijuana plants looked fresh. Each acre of the plantation had a hut with food items and plates inside it.
Standing on the farmland was a written code of conduct

We think is only in Nigerian that is suffering recession but this news will change your mind set.

Zimbabwe's government is axing 25,000 civil service jobs in an effort to rein in government spending.
It is also cancelling annual bonus payments as part of a series of measures aimed at saving $118m (£89m) in employment costs.
In July, civil servants went on strike over delays in the payment of their salaries.
The country is going through its toughest economic situation since the hyper-inflation of 2008
