MTN recently promised to bring 4g plans to Nigeria, although there are other 4g data providers like NTEL, Smile, etcetra, but these 4g data providers only base in some states, with little or no intention of extending it to all parts of the country.
With the change in technology, demand for data plans have also increased, gone are the days when one could use 200MB for the whole month, right now I don't even think 20GB could be enough to last me 2weeks, but even as we demand cheap data, we all have expectations that the service would be fast and stable. We've seen the battle between data providers, and how Globacom could be leading if not because of the slower-than-a-snail service they have, their datas are quite cheap.. To cut the story short.

MTN's 4G plans are here in Nigeria, when I say Nigeria, I mean all parts of the country! But in my own opinion, these 4g plans are quite expensive and I don't think many Nigerians will embrace it now, but as time goes on, maybe MTN would decide to make it cheap.

How to subscribe for the 4g plans

Thanks....it has worked...I was using it on edge, someone just recommended I use 3G......its rooted now!

Just saw this and decided to try it out....unfortunately it stops at 65% and says unsuccessful.... What could be wrong?....

PS: i used kingroot version 4.9.0 and 4.9.6(the latest version)

. Just keep trying it, cuz all the boom j8s I've come across, it all worked for them (hope you tried the alternate method)

Steps

Launch Kingroot application on the phone. Tap the blue button at the bottom to start rooting. Wait for the process to complete 100%, it might tell you to try something else, (something like that, cuz I've forgotten) just click it.. And you are good to go.. took me less than 2mins

I've been in this situation when I was using f7, and sorry to say it has no solution but you can manage it. .. First remember to always save your game on that gta sa, so when the game keeps crashing just go and select your saved mission and voila the game would open

Mali 400 is a low and outdated graphics processor, asphalt 8 won't play but there are other modern games that utilizes their graphics to fit even the smallest of phones, so you can try other HD games but not asphalt 8(this is from experience on my tecno f7 last year)

Asphalt 8? Nope, but it's worth a trial. . 1.3ghz speed is cool (that is if the manufacturers were being truthful ) , most HD games will play but I can't guarantee their smooth running

Even though San Andreas was a 2004 game I rate it 70/100 and I rate vegas 40/100... CJ walks like a man, Jason doesn't even walk, his legs are just too fast... You think a game is rated by graphics?? I would choose clash of clans anyday to Vegas, even minecraft beats vegas... In gta sa, when you bump your car, you see the bump effect on the car, but on vegas you just see sparks(but your car still looks okay).

And do you notice how gta sa has the real world kind of time? (morning, afternoon and night/daily) while vegas is mostly night... Even vice city is better than vegas bruh

Well you should believe what you feel like, your boom j8 lasting less than 8hrs on heavy usage means you've installed something harmful to your battery life, or maybe you are using chargers other than the j8's charger, if you don't know, chargers also harm batteries..

Hope you don't have battery savers? Well this is my battery graph on a mixed usage today (when I saw 5pm there, I never believed my phone could reach 5pm,but it died 5:06pm) this is approximately 17hrs on a mixed usage, but your j8 could go upto 2days on strictly mild usage... Tested and confirmed!

I've played this game and I would say gameloft tried but this game is no where near gta sa, op have you played gta sa before I hate the way the characters in Vegas walk, can you compare car crashing of Vegas to San Andreas? And this game at times lag, I've played it on my boom j8, on a Huawei tablet(worst, you don't even see the roads) and on galaxy s5(lags like hell) and hey, I downloaded mine from playstore... And the story is no way like gta sa... Gta sa, the best crime game on mobile yet
The only advantage Vegas has over San Andreas is just graphics and cars .. Period!

If the data rolls over then that's fair but i still prefer something i can use on a week day rather dan weekend wey person nor get much time.

Not that you will wait for weekend o, you will be given 1.5gb you can use for 30days (weekdays and weekends inclusive), but the 7.5gb will only be used during the first weekend

Reports reaching NAIJ.com indicate that Nigerian currency, Naira has crashed to N400/$1 at the parallel market, the lowest rate ever since the introduction of the flexible exchange rate policy.

The Naira which had crashed to N390/$1 yesterday, August 3, drop a shocking 10 point today, August 4, to slip further down.

According to sources, the British pounds now exchanges for N510/£1, while the Naira is sold at N425 to one Euro.
The development was also confirmed by our reliable Bureau de change operator who however declined to comment further.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had in June released details of its new flexible policy. But in spite of the policy shift, scarcity of dollars has not allowed naira any respite as demand for dollars always outstrips supply.

The local currency has also been on the downward swing following a plunge in crude oil prices and a consequent decline in Nigeria’s foreign reserves.

It's just like your normal 1.5GB for N1000 subscription, only that 7.5GB will be added, which I've learned that it(the 7.5gb) last for just the first weekend you subscribed, while the 1.5GB is meant to last for 30days
