Enough of all these DC vs MC bullshit already! I mean, what the actual fvck?! huh Can't you watch a darned movie without giving a flying fvck which studio made it? Watch the fantasy movies for the entertainment value and leave multi-billion dollar studios to keep doing their thing because, as a matter of established fact, your opinions and those of others here count as much as the tissue you use to wipe your ass after a bout of diarrhea. They don't give a squirrel's ass what you ( i.e. Nairaland Arm Chair Movie Critics Association) think about their productions.

No offence intended.
I just tire. No matter what you preach, they'll never listen. It's tiring.

Mercy has won already

No matter how ebuka paints himself

Katung was the first winner

No matter how hard you try ,You can't erase what is on the record books

Mercy is the female BBN winner, Dilish is the first female BBA winner

Its there on the records and it will stay in your faces forever

Nando,Roki,Maneta,Kemen,Khloe, Kbrule and Tacha were disqualified

Like it or not it will also stay in your faces forever

She broke the record of previous BBN winners

She not only won but managed to stay relevant and secure bags and endorsement deals and will continue to do so for a long time
@emboldened, not true. Cherish Makubale from Zambia won it first before Dillish. She won the first edition of BBA in 2003.

Oga you have just done it again o.

I mentioned these exact words " I go still big pas the owner". Where did I ever mention owner of the show now? So owner automatically means owner of the show? She couldn't have meant owner of the prize or owner of something else entirely?

Here's the link to the vid o:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDweMZOAf94

You do realize that in litigation slander is precise right? There's no mincing words. If you attribute what I never said to me, then it's frigging slander.
Whether you omit a word or you include extra words, it is slander.
Just watched the video and she actually said "big pass the owner" only. But it couldn't mean owner of prize money when you quoted her other statements in the past where she said "I'm not leaving o, but if e happen, I know say I go still big pas the winner, and I know say the leaving no go b based on eviction".

It shows she knows the difference between winner and owner. In both quotes, whether it's for the "winner" or for the "owner", the words "of the show" weren't included in it but you concluded it was of the show when you accused Gbegiri of slander. It was simple, you used common sense to conclude the winner was for the show same way it's not rocket science to conclude she meant owner of the show.

Whoiwannabe:
And I quote "we leave. I go still big pas the owner. That one dey very certain."

I just found the tape you are referring to. To think that you quoted that she said she was going to be "bigger than the owner of bbn". On no account did she ever say she will be bigger then the owner of Bbn.

Other exact statements she made " I'm not leaving o, but if e happen, I know say I go still big pas the winner, and I know say the leaving no go b based on eviction".

See what you made me do grin

Now how's that not slander?
You've just agreed the she said the owner of show, so where is the slander? She said the owner of the show, so how is it a slander if someone said she said she'll be bigger than the show? Is the show not owned by its owner?

BTW, post the link of video let us all watch it. If you found it as your typed, post link.

Firstly, the bolded is debatable. I watched bbn and I never heard anything like that. (By the way I have seen people claim to hear things different from what I watched. That's not to say I'm disputing your claim).

For the sake of argument, let's say she slipped and said that. We all watched Tacha and one thing that we know is that she was unapologetic. If she says it, she will say it again, and again, and again, consequences be damned. She's not a coward.

She said she was going to be bigger than the owner of the show umpteen times. And she have respected the show in and out of the house, umpteen times.

Tell me again how that wasn't slander?
The person you quoted said she said she'll be bigger than the show and you said she only said she will be bigger than the winner of the show and then told the person you quoted to stop the slander.

I quoted you to let you know that it ain't a slander because Tacha didn't say the winner of the show but rather owner of the show which could still mean bigger than the show since the show is owned by humans not spirits, though I believe she meant winner of the show. So, I don't know why you're asking me your last question.

Tacha said bigger than the winner of the show.
On her radio interview yesterday, she still reinstated that bbn is the biggest platform thousands of people wish to be on and that she was lucky.

Stop this slander. It's an ugly look on you.
It's not a slander. Tacha said and I quote, "I'll be bigger than the OWNER of the show". The day she said it, I reported the event immediately but I defended Tacha that what she probably meant was the winner of the show because she can't be bigger than owner of the show as it's owned by a group of very rich group/individuals not a single being.

Look for the video and re-watch it, she said owner of the show, but I think it was a mistake and she meant winner of the show.

His Dark Materials

Didn't really like Lyra in the episodes 1 and 2, she had this childish dumbness (of course she is a child) but I like how she has evolved with all that has happened to her in the more recent episode.

It's as if she is getting smarter by each episode.
Yes. It's a slow burn. The episode 1 and 2 were quiet slow in order to build the chararcter arc of Lyra. The producers are following it slow and steady in order not to rush things like the film did and became a flop. It's a trilogy, so it's one step at the time.
TV/Movies › Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Beorn: 7:42pm On Nov 26, 2019
I usually wait for the full season of a series to drop before I watch it, but I'm glad I'm following His Dark Materials as each episode drops.

And this time around, with HBO at helm of affairs, I'm sure it won't flop like its movie counterpart, The Golden Compass. I love how the storyline started very slowly in order to get everyone along. The pacing of the series is excellent too. I'm eager to watch as things unfold in future episodes.

Most of these fights only exists with fans, most of these HMs are cool with themselves.

Enkay hated Frodd, but they are cool now, commenting on each other's pages.

Elo and Frodd may not comment on each other's pages, but I've seen Frodd put him multiple times on his Insta stories. Frodd even did a video with him for Nedu.

Seyi hated Frodd's guts but they are cool outside the house, etc.

Of course, not all of them are in cool terms with each other, but I think things would've been much rosier for the warring factions if the fans could drop the blood and support these HMs.

Omashola is cool with Kim after criticizing her. Despite the bad blood between Seyi and Khafi, they are now cool. Despite his bad words to Venita, I heard Omashola had made up with her.

This world is big enough for all the HMs to shine and eat. Mercy and Tacha hugged it out after they met outside the house, if there's a bad blood between both of them codedly, it is probably exacerbated by the fight between their fans.

Just because Ike is dating Mercy doesn't mean he can't be friends with Tacha. It's no big deal. All these fights are unnecessary. Las las, na Mercy and Tacha e dey favour because their fanbase keeps soaring. No publicity is a bad publicity

Congrats to Tacha on her biggest endorsement so far, I just saw the promo video on Facebook. This is a huge one though I've said earlier that she shouldn't be hustling for Endorsements like other housemates (she's already sitting on a gold mine with her own brand). More wins for the housemates, they get luckier every season.

Frodd's Gossy TV commercial with Sir Dee and Isilomo, shot in Ekiti. I'm still at a loss why Khafi wasn't included in the deal being the only Ekiti indigene of the show.

True. Khaffi was meant to be included. Was surprised the first day Frodd posted about the endorsement and I didn't see Khafi.

I didn't know he's an A-lister till tonight. I wonder why they'd give such a person that doesn't audition for roles, a role that takes months of intense practice to perfect.

KoiceReloaded:
All the more reason to adapt, improvise and overcome. Make the most of the limited screen time you're given. Make your character memorable. Go off script if it falls within purview. Leto didn't do any of that, and ended up portraying a cringey-esque Joker.

Leto is an A-Lister, btw. He doesn't do auditions, and he's expensive AF.
He doesn't do audition, and yet he was given a peculiar role like the Joker? The joke is on the director then.

A good actor ought to make the most of what he's given; Adapt. Improvise. Overcome.

It's squarely his fault.
Leto is not an A-list actor, but it's not entirely his fault. The plot of SQ was very weak. Plus, you're forgetting that Heath, JP or JN had the storyline more focused on their character/their character arcs were more pronounced compared to Leto's Joker which had to share numerous screen time with other characters in a below par script.
