Transformers: Rise of The Beast......6/10

Nice enjoyable action movie. I don't get the issue some have with it. It's a fun and enjoyable movie and delivered majority of the deliverables. Acting, writing and dialogue— not so much.
The CGI was good, the reused trope in the franchise wasn't refreshing, but it was watchable. The action was good and fight scenes was good.

It ain't a movie to blow your mind but it does it's best not to take itself too seriously.
All nice and enough to earn it a decent rating.

I fell the same way too. It didn't deserve the condemnation it was getting.

It's so annoying. I don't know why some peeps find it hard to banter without insults. From the get-go, the guy has been raining abuses on DC supporters instead of keeping it clean. I expected this reunion to be boring but I must admit, it's been fire all through. In short, more interesting than the season itself. 😂😂

Last night's episode was a lot. One thing I've noticed in this reunion is the growing up or becoming more matured of Amaka and Adekunle.

I wasn't a fan of both HMs and TBH, Adekunle also gossiped very well during that season, but so did others. Every HM gossiped. But the Adekunle I saw during that season and post-season, is not the Adekunle I'm watching now. He seemed a totally different person.

He's grown a lot character wise and I'm sure has had some retrospection about his acts in the past and has become more mature.

I'm not going to point an accusing finger at either of Doyin or Adekunle though. I think both have their faults in their beef and time will heal all wounds.

It's obviously I was guessing if you read my first line correctly. I don't use Cinemascore at all. Today's my first time visiting there. So, I don't know their highest or lowest metric. I only knew about them from visiting Wikipedia pages of some movies.

I'd like to believe F is the lowest. From our schools' metric of rating our performances in exams, A1 (A+ in the Cinemascore universe) is the highest, while F9 is the lowest.

I really don't see it that way or feel it's silly. I just think it's what they are more comfortable with or they chose to stand out from the rest of the pack using that style. Just like you have some media outlets using "stars" to rate or judge in their movies reviews.


Personally, I don't like it though and have never visited Cinemascore till few minutes ago when I went there to prove my point. I only come across them when I read the Wikipedia pages of certain movies and that's how I knew they use alphabet to rate their movies. I'm not fan of such ratings. I prefer rating from 1-10.

The point is that it is a weird way of rating movies. Most people or institutions use fractions (over 10 or over 5) or a percentage.

Imdb and rotten tomatoes do not use the alphabet grading system.


The average poster on this thread is actually ignorant.

There's absolutely nothing wrong in rating a move B+, A- etc. Each individual or group uses what metric pleases them. It might interest you to know that Metacritic, one of the most trusted movie critics out there, uses alphabet ratings.


I think your issue with him is his criticism of the movie plot.
