I miss Yemi & Blue flirting & stealing kisses. Now all I've got to watch is the dry Khoyemi ship.

One of the best decision they did this season was bringing in Blue & Miracle. Good addition to an average season.

Sis, I'm not being economical with the truth, all I've done was PREDICT/GUESS. Between us, we can't say for sure that if 3 of them stood up the next week after entering, Miracle would survive. Or even Blue would survive.

There are millions or thousands of fans voting with different love/motuves for Miracle & Blue. Khosi fans will vote for Miracle or Theo to evict Blue, while Yemi fans will vote for Blue who Yemi flirts with.

The decider would be down to the neutrals in the fight. Just coz Miracle showed interest in Khosi when he arrived doesn't mean most fans will vote him for that after all Yemi showed interest in Blue which is also another entertainment avenue. It's hard to say for sure who gets the most neutral vote. We'll never be able to know for a fact.

It's not an easy answer to be honest. Do you why? Because the 3 of them don't have fans by then and it's fans of other HMs that would vote for them. But if I'm to guess, I'll say if one person was going, it'd be Theo because he's boring. If it was two people, I'll say Miracle because I believe Yemi fans will vote Blue as Yemi's new love interest, and other fans will vote her as she looked like trouble from day 1.

They are more likely to have difficulty seeing
They have stigma (self and societal)
So it is not true to say they are just regular
They live with albinism, cannot produce melanin (absolutely or relatively) so this is a disability as it affects how the skin treats sun rays
My point is that Ebubu and people like him are vulnerable, so we can’t casually place them as “regular” or “normal”

I don't think why I find Miracle annoying is because he came later in the game. Theo and Blue Aiva also came late but they don't annoy me. He's just too extra sometimes, though I admit his character has probably helped his game and gotten him fans.

People that have normal pigments still have struggles. They still get depressed and have crazy mood swings. Albino's lead normal lives. Ebubu is not his skin. His person should not be tied to his pigment and this is what Kanaga did which i found particularly distasteful.

If I knew I was arguing with someone who probably didn't listen to Kanaga's speech, or probably didn't watch, or did watch him but dislikes him and wants to start an agenda for no reason with a falsified speech, I wouldn't even have debated this issue with you.

From what you typed in the emboldened, it's obvious you hate the guy and hence the lie up there. Here is what Kanaga Jr said VERBATIM.

For avoidance of doubt, anyone should re-watch Kanaga's speech to Ebubu below. The man was even all smiles.

Has Ebubu ever mentioned his albinism struggle to Kanaga before? Has he even told Tsatsii or she just ran to have conversations with whatever she had in her head. Even if Ebubu has told Tstsii, does it it give Kanaga the right to bring it up in his speech?

Did Theo T-Raw complain to the HMs about feeling isolated before Kanaga & I think Miracle spoke to him about it on the morning of his eviction? Sometimes when you know what someone is going through, you'd help without the person coming to tell you personally.

Ebubu could be moody but does he strike you as someone who has a problem with his skin pigment? Someone who even said people think he's a white dude and treat him as one in Lagos. Someone who has put himself out in entertainment circles enough to land video vixen jobs and whatnot. Ebubu could be withdrawn and moody but that's just how he is. It has nothing to do with the colour of his skin.

If Ebubu didn't exprience struggles of being discriminated as an albino growing up and struggles to make friends, why did he tell Tsatsii about it? Do you know a depressed person can look perfectly okay but deep down he's dying and before you know it, his suicide is on the news? The cameras doesn't show all the HMs at the same time, it's here that we complain that Khosi gets too much airtime, so how exactly did you know Ebubu has not felt a type of way about his inability to make much friends in the house? And you're a viewer while Tsatsii is his partner he shared his problem with. You can't compare.

Kanaga talking about albino as though it's a disease just exposed a part of him that shows he still feels some type of way about albinos. If not, why should that even in part of his speech. You know why, It's because when Kanaga sees Ebubu, he sees an albino first before seeing the man within.

I'd been looking out for Kanaga now as there's a crack now to peep through all that caring and loving bull.

Not true. Rather Kanaga talking about his albinism shows a man who has an insight and empathy about what albinos go through in Naija, and we all know people discriminate against them in this country whether you want to admit it or not, and having heard of Ebubu's struggles from Tsatsii, decided to help encourage Ebubu and cheer him up.

I agree some part of his speech was insensitive and should've been left out, but he only did too much while trying to encourage him. The delivery was wrong but his intentions were good.


As for looking for cracks in Kanaga's game, feel free. You'd find many. No HM there is a saint anyway. They are all gamers, may the best gamer win.

After all, in all honesty, most albinos are always aware of d fact dey r different n it's always nice to give dem d reassurance DAT dey r doing well, cos like it or not, society has always stigmatized dem a certain way.

We need to stop blaming Ebuka. Ebuka is nothing but an employee who signs a contract with Multichoice and does their bidding. Ebuka won't shake a table that the production team doesn't want him to shake. He's not the main boss.

I actually know that Kanaga intended to make Ebubu feel good with his comment. However, there are some sensitive things that are better left unsaid in the public space if you cannot communicate it with perfect tact.

Imagine if you are the only black person at your workplace in the UK and a colleague stood up to praise you publicly for handling relationships and representing well despite being a black person. That will be 100% socially awkward despite the best intentions.

What Kanaga did is a social gaffe. He should have found a tacit way to speak with Ebubu privately and instill confidence. Ebubu might have felt a bit bad for his pigmentation being under the spotlight and might even consider Kanaga's flowery attempts as patronizing.

Nonetheless, the issue isnt worth crucifying Kanaga over since it wasnt intentional. He is a good guy with great vibes and a potential winner.

Ebubu is not disabled. He just cannot produce melanin, there's nothing wrong with him. That he skin lacks the ability to produce pigment does not make him different from the rest of the others. His condition is only skin deep at best.

When you tiptoe around these people or treat them as special because of a skin condition, it does more to exclude than include.

Kanaga shouldn't act like a white knight and defender of pigments. No one cares. When he keeps pointing out how someone is different, it does more to further isolate that person. Kanaga failed woefully by talking about Ebubu's albinism. If he had sense, he would have talked about Ebubu's personality and ended it at that. Out of everyone there, not a single one mentioned about the Albinism but Kanaga. In trying to come out as caring and nice, he committed even a bigger faux pas.

No-one there mentioned about Ebubu's albinism, but the question is, how many of them has Ebubu's open to about his struggles? Do you think Kanaga would've mentiomed it if Tsatsii hadn't revealed to him about what Ebubu is going through?


It didn't come out of the blue. Ebubu told Tsatsii & she told Kanaga, so Kanaga knows about his struggles while others don't. It's not about being a white knight, it is about being compassionate. The Sunday that Theo T-Raw left, Kanaga also tried to encourage him to mingle with other HMs as he noticed he was looking sullen and isolated. Sometimes, these people need a little bit of love.

I like Tsatsii sha. Most times, I always like the love interest of my faves. Probably why I like Khosi and Blue Aiva majorly coz of Yemi.

He's not trying to punish Khosi. Ebuka's question rattled him and he feels like the world is against him. So, he's trying to be the faithful and perfect guy to Khosi to avoid the supposed backlash that he thinks he's getting outside the house. Ebuka in one fell swoop destroyed that spice in the triangle and even the one that had Blaq & Marvin in it.

Ebuka took out the steam in that triangle. I saw it coming and that's why I kept insisting that Ebuka shouldn't shake that table but the powers that be wanted a "hot" Sunday night eviction as the pervious one was very drab. The resultant effect is what we're experiencing now.

There was everything wrong with it. He has lived with Ebubu over a month and couldn't make a speech on the guy's personality without mentioning his skin type. He basically reduced the guy to an albino, even referred to him being on big brother as helping his community? What community? Should there be anything like albino community? I don't think Kanaga was extremely insensitive, he'd have worded his speech a bit better but it came from a place of good.

The root of that speech emanated from weeks ago when they first got paired and Tsatsii came to him to complain on how Ebubu feels left out and isolates himself because of his skin color and how people doesn't want to be close to him growing up. So, Kanaga told Tsatsii that he understood where Ebubu is coming from, having heard and had experiences with people like him. He encouraged Tsatsii to talk to Ebubu and be more close to Ebubu so he doesn't feel left out. That she'd tell him that they are all one and he deserves to be there as much as anyone.

He also told Tsatsii that he'd have talked to Ebubu about Ebubu isolating himself (Ebubu) because he feels the HMs don't want to associate with him, but it'd be like Tsatsii came to reveal to him (Kanaga) what Ebubu is going through and it'd amount to betrayal as Ebubu confided in Tsatsii in private about it.

So, Kanaga used last night to encourage Ebubu as he couldn't say it to him personally so it wouldn't feel like Tsatsii had told him of the struggles which Ebubu confided in her. So, he might not worded it very well, but he meant no harm.
