True life Experience That i witnessed, A case Study;

It was behind Amina Hall, Discussion ensued among some boys christian and moslems explaining religious things.... according to an eye witness, But what i saw was that two guys dressed in white kaftan with their trousers like five-inch shorter than their Ankle held a boy with a tight grip from the back and several people followed.

Even though the boy was saying repeatedly and louder that; ''what i said was 'peace be upon him' 'peace be Upon him' they(Muslims) still dont leave him and said 'No' its a lie 'baabu'.

A lecturer passing-by stopped them and ask what the problem was, the two boys in Kaftan said the other boy who was a christian has committed Blasphemy by insulting Prophet Mohammed by saying... 'piss' be upon him' But the christian boy said clearly that 'why would i say 'piss' be upon prophet mohhamed when i am not sick? and said further that; that the two guys in white kaftan 'misrepresents his uterrance' as what he mean is 'peace' as in 'calm' and not what they are trying to paint. The lecturer ask how the Accusers could differentiate 'peace' from 'piss' and the Accusers reply promptly that ''They Can Discern from the pronounciation Without anybody telling them'' and So the Accusers did not provide further explanation for clarification 'other than' what they perceived 'on their own Volition'.

The lecturer demand that they release the christian boy but this time we have A loud Chorus saying ''A-ah, Baba mu da keshi'' meaning; No We are not releasing him! he was beating and dragged on the floor when he refuses to move not until the security people came in two motorcyles and took the boy away.

The issue here is that; Most Accusations of Blasphemy in Moslem environs 'are often established without clarification from alledged offenders'
A mere mention of 'Mohhamed' is enough to earn a non-believer ''a twisted story version'' geared towards blasphemy

Without insults, Cant Our Moslem brothers also Allow an accused to explain him/herself? at least let us hear from the accused-own mouth and Not ''what the Accused was said to have uttered'' which is Not the 'first information report' Before we can Trully establish 'Guilt of Blasphemy'

I can see that Nobody is questioning how 'Guilt of Blasphemy' is also established by our moslem brothers that is 'what was actually said' in horse's mouth, and Not just 'Assuming blasphemy' based on accusers claims.

The Independent Corrupt Practices Commissions (ICPC) Chairman, Mr. Ekpo Nta, has reiterated his view that “stealing is not corruption.”

Speaking to a team of The Nation in Lagos , Nta explained that his commission would fare better if there was a proper understanding of the word corruption.

Ex President Goodluck Jonathan came under fire from the opposition when he said , on presidential media chat that stealing is not corruption.

But Nta argued that from the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (ONCAC) and the ICPC Act, the first item that falls under corrupt practices is bribery in public and private offices.

He backed up his views with Articles 15 and 16 of UNCAC and sections 8, 9 and 10 of the ICPC Act.
He listed what is considered as corruption under Article 19 of UNCAC and Section 19 of the ICPC Act as: illicit enrichment, trading in influence etc.

Wole Olanipekun Argued that pre-election court cases are not deemed to be concluded before election' and on this points raised by Lai muhammed and Wole Olanipekun, justice Ademola adjourned the case to after election, and since then over a year now, they failed to file buhari's Wasc result.
President Buhari reportedly retained over twenty SANs led by Chief Wole Olanipekun, Chief Akin Olujinmi, Femi Falana, etc., who for over one year now have failed to file any defence for Buhari or APC but instead used every trick in the book to delay the case.
But on Thursday, the Hon. Justice Ademola Adeniyi in his ruling on the case, dismissed all applications by the defendant as totally lacking in merit. He held that the suit filed by Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe was competent and the service on Buhari and APC was also competent.

He thereafter adjourned the case to the 16th day of June 2016 for hearing of the substantive Originating Summons to determine whether Buhari's educational qualifications meets the minimum standards required by the Constitution.
#It will be recalled that there were claims by online handlers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the Nigerian Army located President Buhari's "missing certificate" after the elections.
#The missing certificate saga raised contention as to the eligibility of Buhari to contest the presidential election. However, it is on record that there was no official statement by the Nigerian Army up till this day corroborating claims that the certificate has been found.

However, Abacha and Bamaiyi were both charged for murder and conspiracy ,.. Capital offences for which there were reasonable expectations of flight risks and possible dangers to witnesses.

My point is that once a person has been charged, the judge has the discretion to grant , set conditions, or deny bail it serves the public interest.

However, in this and similar cases of recent, the EFCC and the courts remanding suspects during the investigation of a crime, without charges as opposed to best rule of law practice of arresting people, charging them, and then remanding them in custody for public interest.

EFCC and the courts are basically affirming the guilt of a mere 'person of interest' in an ongoing investigation , even before a bona fide crime has been duly established to have been committed.

This is atrocious, an insult to standard Democratic norms, and a grave danger to every Nigerian.

It could be you or I , or our friends and family members tomorrow.
