I want to understand something please house ... I mistakenly filled my first refusal applications number when I was ordering gcms note instead of my second applications number that recently got refuse from .....

What should I do they just debited my account just now... are they going to review the both refusal applications or only the application number that I fill they will only review ?

Or I should order gcms note again for the second refusal letter for the second applications since I made make and fill the 1st refusal applications number instead of the second refusal applications number
They will only send you the notes for the application number your provided.

You need to make another payment and fill out another form to get the notes for your second application.

Don't you think at this stage it is better your friend came on board the platform to learn things for himself.
Because there are informations you might have missed which he would not.

Besides it reduces your stress to your own issues alone instead of thinking for 2.

My opinion
Yes you are right.

He apply in Nigeria through Paper route, on 28th of march medical immediately and biometric correspondence letter 5 days ago and visa denial today.
He told me, he did not submitted personal SOA, no personal assets,
Okay if I got you right, you meant he applied on the 28th of March with an upfront medical. Then 5 days ago he got a biometrics correspondence mail, then he got denied today? Is that correct?

I will ask you few questions....

-Which course did he Study at the Uni?
-Which course is he intending to study in Canada?
-Is he currently employed? If yes....Is it related to his undergraduate course or intending course in Canada.
-Who was his sponsor?
-How much was in the sponsors account prior to his application submission?
-Did he pay any tuition fee?
-Did he include a LOE/SOP with his application?

Thank you for your interest in visiting Canada. After careful review of your student permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Sincerely,

IRCC Nairobi

High Commission of Canada to Kenya

My friend just got denied of study permit after 5 days.
How can we address this issue pls in reapplication?
So sorry about your friends Study Permit denial. Please tell him/her to stay strong and that it’s not a denial until he or she quits. Also tell him/her to apply for GCMS note immediately to know the exact reason/s for the denial. The gurus in the house will sure help.

Please did he/she apply from Nigeria? Kindly share the applications time line.

It can only get better....

Thank you for your reply. Not really, my sponsor's account manager who is also the branch manager wants to write a personalised bank reference for him to be used for my application, so I was asked to send a draft but I am not sure of the key information to include in it. By the way, is the bank reference letter that necessary?
Only my thoughts....The bank manager is not the bank, neither is he the owner of the bank. I am afraid any personal letter from him would carry any weight. The only reference letter from any bank must come from the management (shouldn’t be a one man thing)... Generally adding a reference letter from the bank to ones application is a plus but not a necessity.

Let the gurus shed more light...

Please can I get a sample of a bank reference letter or a guide. I have checked on google but not sure if the templates I have seen will be good enough for the Canadian VOs as I am not sure of the kind of details they expect to see. Thank you.
If I got your question right...Do you mean the reference letter you get after printing out your bank account statement? If yes.......then you need not to worry about it, every bank has its template, yours is to indicate you need it for a visa application and also give them the appropriate visa office address for the letter. I hope this helps...
There has been a mounting confusion regarding this situation. However, IRCC website stated that any applicants who had done biometrics prior after July 31, 2018 won't have to undergo such process over again for the next 10yrs but for an applicant who underwent such process prior before July 31, 2018 would have to undergo it again to enable IRCC update their record to stay valid for next 10yrs for such applicant.

My point is this: in my opinion and observations, I don't think this rule has coherently been followed owing to the fact that "most applicants" who got refused in the erstwhile prior before July 31, 2018 didn't undergo the biometrics process again and still got a favourable decision.

I haven't fully articulate how or why, but what i have gotten to understand with some applicant's applications on this forum and outside, when filling the IMM1294E form, input your UCI number in the provided column and wait to see if at the final stage prior to submission, (if its an online application) if it would require you to pay the sum total of $235 for both visa fee and biometrics fee or just $150 for the visa fee. Same should be for the paper route, just that you have to verbally enquire the feasibility of such endeavour from the VFS representatives.

Good luck!

@JustMellow

Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate it.
Biometrics has been updated as valid until 2028 when checked. Just like you have said the rules have not been followed and there has been confusions....

I will sure let you know how it played out. Plus I sent you a PM..... Thank you.

Please kindly advise on my application process especially with the funding aspect and how to define a relationship for your sponsor who is a family friend.

Good afternoon everyone,

I am very new on this platform and i hope i am doing this correctly. I need help as regards my application. I have my acceptance letter from the University i applied to in Canada but i do not have enough funds personally to apply for the study permit. (Masters in Public administration and i currently work as an administrative assistant in a consulting firm)

Though i have a family friend who is willing to help but i do not know how best to state as his relationship when he is writing the sponsorship letter. Also another challenge is that he is having about 8m in his account and the cost for my school, living and flight expenses is about 12m for 2 years.
1)do i look for additional account to use as a co-sponsor?

2)would he need to provide his CAC document since he is using his personal account and not the business account.

Though for my tution i do not need to pay upfront as i pay per semester depending on the number of courses i register for.
3)Do i have to provide my own statement of account too as i do not have a sitting balance in it.
4)Or are there other means i can use to proof i have sufficient funds for my trip? Please kindly help me on it.

What i have at the moment is an introductory letter from my employer and a religious organisation where i volunteer from time to time, leave application letter, also also provided a deed of agreement for a landed property that i have.

Kindly help as i would really love to be guided before i put in the application. Hope to get all set before mid april incase i need additional account, otherwise i can do it in the space of 1 week.

Thank you so much guys as i await your sincere feedback.
I also anticipate a response from a guru regarding your questions. Especially on how to give a proper defination to a family friend.

Ponomote:
Good evening guys, I applied to study in Conestoga College for a Post Graduate Certificate in Community and Social Service Management for Fall 2019 and Organization Management in Cambrian College also for Fall 2019. I have a Bsc in Economics and the reason for applying for a post graduate study is my inability to get a course for my MSC because of my poor CGPA though it's second class lower. I want to know my chances of being offered a place to study any of these in the colleges I applied to. And secondly, what are my chances of securing a student visa because I don't have a travel history. Funds for tuition, personal allowances are not a problem. My dad who's my sponsor has a very strong account balance. Please help me out.
So at last I found someone we share stuffs in common.
I have already secured an admission at Conestoga College for 2019 Fall intake ( Community and Social Service Management).

When did you apply?
