Good morning to everybody.... I have a question for everyone in the house.....@Frank @jnyuwa02 and others....
I am preparing for my second application and I want to prepare my landed properties deed of assignment as I didn’t do it when I bought those properties, I only have receipts for them. Those properties were purchased in 2014 and 2016. My question goes thus..... should the deed of assignment be dated the date I purchased them 2014 and 2016 respectively or should be dated 2018....
Your quick response would be highly appreciated. Thanks to everyone that has kept this platform alive.... God bless you and have a great week..... |

Smileyin: AMEN. i got an agent to do my first application and she got me a pgd in IT, clearly she didn't know it was beneath my grade and all cos i have a 2,1 so i reapplied with the same admission since i hadn't gotten any other admission and hoped it didn't matter that it was a pgd since it was still related to my first degree but i got a second refusal and was lucky one of the schools i applied to got back in touch with me after a long wait this time a masters in computer science so i applied again and i am hopeful. Okay well understood now.... It shall end in praise.... |

Frankrobbn1: You're certainly free to apply for your TRV as soon as you've secured an admission into any of the DLI of Canada. February is a good time to apply against fall 2019 and you can also apply towards the end of the year if you have the finances.
Good luck! Oga Frank.... I hail ooo... Well done sir!! |

kingfintan: Thanks ratawu for responding to my issues, actually, the professor in Canada, actually wrote on the relevance of the course, how it an excellent fit for my previous academic qualification, employment prospect, recommendation, telling the VO he strongly advice them to approve my visa as a genuine student.. as for my lecturer here in Nigeria, he tackled how the course is needed here in Nigeria and all.. am just afraid, I shouldn’t have added them..the letters look cool, but just scared the VOs might see it another way! I tried to tackle the reasons I was denied tho..have not seen anybody collected letter from school.. mo gbe ooooo Good morning Kingfitan.... Congrats once again on your TRV approval, please I would need your assistance towards something personal and I want to ask if I can PM you. I will be waiting for your reply... Thank you. |

jnyuwa02: The problem you are faced now with is showing cogent reasons why the VO should beleive you would return to Nigeria. It’s your thesis to handle now before your course thesis to come. Do you have any jobs or property or close family in Nigeria? As a matter of fact anywhere outside of Canada? Your course of studies and it’s lucrativeness in Nigeria and your desires to come back home and devote your passions? You might have to dwell on these in your next application as it’s the final hurdle to cross. Best of luck! Good afternoon @jnyuwa02..... I sent you a pm, I will be waiting for your reply sir. Thank you sir. |

jnyuwa02: I appreciate your kind words!! Your NGO is wonderful!! Be sure to enclose certificate of incorporation and income tax clearance or exemption for yourself and the NGO. A pamphlet about your NGO will also help. If you need a sample of what this pamphlet should look like, pm me. Then in a detailed, concise LOE, talk about your academic plans, goals and aspirations and how that fits with the goals and objectives of the NGO continuing to impact lives and making a difference. Talk about your inevitable return to Nigeria upon the completion of your studies to continue with the kind of needed work in your community. Yes include all awards from your state. A letter from your local government chairman or state honorable commissioner in the field you are making a difference in, will go a long way in substantiating what you do. Your application is great!! @Jnyuwa02.... Thank you very much for this, it’s a great eye opener..... I sent you a pm already... |

jnyuwa02: Na wa for these people oh. Exactly the same wordings, word to word, verbatim, that I read from someone else’s GCMS. Everything is just generic I am beginning to conclude, even GCMS notes are just generic. Damn!!
You can totally tackle this with a sound SOP.
1. Show them why they should believe why if the privilege of a permit is extended to you, you would study. Talk about your academic background and how you have excelled in your studies before. Talk about your love for learning and the value that you attach to the intrinsic worth of ideas. In essence, show why you are a genuine student and applying in good faith to study.
2. Talk about why you have decided to spend all these money when it’s available cheaply in Nigeria. Perhaps a foreign degree will give access to an international exposure and the experience you gather there would make you a force to be reckoned with when you return to Nigeria? Talk about your financial prospect upon return and the benefits of a foreign education peculiar to your circumstance.
3. Admit that there are difficulties to a foreign education. Justify why it is warranted in your case. Perhaps you are studying in an area that would bring skill and expertise to a region of the world in dire need of the skills you are bringing? The difficulties of a foreign education would seem warranted if you are studying in an area that would change lives in Nigeria. Talk about the uniqueness of your program and It’s benefit to the country and how it would change lives in Nigeria. Talk about the sacrifices you have made it in the past to surmount difficulties and how you can prevail in an international setting.
4. Family and ties and all. Talk about your close knit and loving family, perhaps you are the first child and that comes in Nigeria with a lot of responsibilities tied to both place and inheritance wise. Perhaps you are a dotting husband/wife/ and family left behind will induce your return for sure back to Nigeria. So much more you can say.
Good luck! @jnyuwa02...You are really doing great here and God will reward you.... I am trying to get another deed of assignment for one of my landed properties so I can submit 2 landed properties in my name. I am also looking to add some certificates and awards my NGO got from government bodies so I can show the VO my NGO is directly involved with its immediate community, what do you think about that..? I will work on my next SOP and share it with you. Should I address the issues in my SOP or LOE?? God bless you @jynyuwa02 |

Good morning guys... I have being a silent reader and I would say thanks to @Frankrobbn1 for his help so far God bless you.
I will share my story and I would like to hear from other GURUS in the house before I reapply....I applied paper route April the 23rd before I found this platform, My application got denied May the 11th and the VO ticked purpose of visit, travel history, personal asset and financial status as the reasons for the denial. I have a Btech in Agricultural Engineering and I got an admission at Conestoga college to study Community and Social Service Management ( 1 year post graduate certificate). I have been working in my Dads NGO for 3 years as a program officer, and my intended course is directly related to my work. I have ordered for my gcms note I will attach it below.
Documents I submitted....
-S.O.P letter -Sponsor's Bank Statement with 16Million balance. Sponsor is my cousin we share the same surname, and I proved our relationship. -WAEC and NECO Result -Admission letter -Reciept of tuition part payment as directed by my school. -Sponsor's Property Documents -Sponsors Sworn Affidavit attested to by a NOTARY Public clearly stating the relationship of sponsor to applicant, occupation of sponsor, marital status, number of dependents (He has 2). -Sponsors passport data page
-My resume. -Photocopies Age declaration in the absence of a birth certificate. -Identification of my parent and all my siblings. -Documents of a Landed property in my name. -My bank statement with around 100k balance, I had another personal account with around 1.6Million, but was advice by some devil not to include it, that my sponsors account alone has done justice. -A travel history to South Africa.
TBH I am still nursing the heart break because I am supposed to resume September the 4th. But I believe things don’t just happen, they are made to happen for some unseen reasons... To the GURUS in the house, please help your boy. God bless...

MeinKampf: I think it's because you wouldn't be paying for biometrics again as CIC has changed it's rule on biometrics as they only require you to give it once and it'll be stored for 10 yrs, so your biometrics from the refused application is still effective Hello gurus..... please how true is this information |
