Technology Market / Checkout This Latest Technology Keke Napep Fitted With AC by bestnaijaloaded: 5:36pm On Aug 24, 2016
Have you ever sat inside a keke napep on a very hot day, wondering“why they didn’t fit these ‘little things’ with an air conditioner for days like this?”
For many Nigerians, commuting with a Keke Napep(tricycle) is about the fastest means of getting from one end of town to another, especially since the ban of everyone’s regular first choice ‘okada’ (commercial motorcycle).
The Keke Napep which was first introduced as part of government’s poverty alleviation scheme in 2002, during ex-president Obasanjo’s regime, has since become a hot topic in Nigeria, as moving about in it, is not only convenient, but also affordable.

However, despite the convenience it portrays, there must have been days when it left you wondering if you shouldn’t have just scraped all your change together and gone for an air conditioned taxi instead.

It is for days like that, that this latest batch of tricycles have been made for. According to reports, manufacturers have decided to make Air Conditioned tricycles, which will help you manage that horrible traffic situation better than when you are sitting down, melting away in the heat.

The Keke also comes with a door (what else will keep the air from the AC trapped inside) instead of the usual one that allows breeze and even rain to hammer you when you are riding in one

Technology Market / World’s Largest Aircraft Takes To The Skies For The First Time (PHOTOS by bestnaijaloaded: 12:31pm On Aug 19, 2016
The aircraft was first developed for the US military surveillance but was shelved in 2013 due to defence spending cutbacks.
It took off at 7.40pm from Cardington Airfield in Bedfordshire, as aviation experts looked on in awe

It is 92m long, which is longer than the biggest passenger jets by 15m.
The helium-filled aircraft, which is part plane, part airship, was expected to be launched for its first test flight on Sunday but failed to do so because of safety concerns.
After setting off on its maiden voyage, it was airborne for around 20 minutes before it was forced to return to base before nightfall.
After it had successfully landed, manufacturers Hybrid Air Vehicles tweeted: “Landed. Just a quick flight tonight to prove the concept and needed to land before dark. #Airlander.”
Bystanders who witnessed the momentous event described seeing the Airlander 10 taking off.
The aircraft doesn’t need a runway to take off like most planes but can operate from any land surface, snow, ice, desert and open water.
Airlander can stay for up to two weeks airborne when unmanned but five days when manned. It has a capacity of 10 tonnes of cargo at a maximum speed of 91 miles per hour.
According to the manufacturer, the aircraft can be used for surveillance, communications and humanitarian aid deliveries.
The Airlander 10 uses helium to stay afloat, unlike other notable aircrafts.
According to Hybrid Air Vehicles, it can also withstand “numerous bullet holes” and operate “in all weather conditions.”

Food / Top 5 Reasons You Must Never Stop Drinking Coffee View It by bestnaijaloaded: 8:28pm On Aug 17, 2016
Many people can off the top of their head, give you several reasons why you should not drink coffee, however few have been able to praise the drinking of it.

However, there are several reasons why you should never stop drinking coffee, here are 5 of such reasons:

1. Physical performance

It has been scientifically proven that coffee improves the body performance. Having a cup of black coffee about an hour before workout can improve your performance by 11-12%.
This is because caffeine increases adrenaline levels in your blood. Adrenaline is of course the hormone which helps you to prepare for physical exertion.

2. Losing weight

Coffee can also help the body lose weight. How? Coffee contains magnesium and potassium, which helps the human body use insulin, regulating blood sugar levels and reducing your craving for sugary treats and snacks.

3. Burn fat and stay focused
Coffee also helps you stay focused.

Caffeine helps fat cells break down body fat and use it as fuel for training. Moderate caffeine intake, 1-6 cups a day, helps you focus and improves your mental alertness.

4. Coffee lowers risk of death
Coffee lowers risk of death. Studies have shown that coffee drinker’s overall risk of premature death is 25% lower than of those who don’t drink coffee.
Coffee reduces risk of cancers. One study has shown that coffee may decrease the risk of developing prostate cancer in men by 20 %, and endometrial cancer in women by 25 %.

5.
The reasonable consumption of coffee is about 2–4 cups per day and this will lower risk of stroke.

Coffee reduces risk of Parkinson’s disease. Studies have shown that regular coffee drinking decreases risk of Parkinson’s disease by 25 %. There’s evidence that coffee causes activity in the part of the brain affected by Parkinson’s.

Celebrities / Top Nigerian Comedian Comments On Tiwa Savage’s Marital Problems, Davido, by bestnaijaloaded: 6:42pm On Aug 14, 2016
Nigerian Comedian, Basketmouth, speaks out on the negative influence of social media in Nigerian celebrities lives.

Popular funny Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, has spoken out on other celebrities using social media to air out their dirty laundry and the problems with it.

This was during an interview Saturday, August 13 on The Gist which was aired on Hip TV.

He said: “To a large extent, I think there are a lot of people abusing the use of social media, I am sorry.

Most of us artistes realizing that we have I, 2, 3 or 4 million people following us and you know that when you say something, a lot of people are going to react.”

“It is like drug; you can’t contain yourself and start saying some crap. You are like a god having a lot of followers, whatever you tell them to do, they do.

“I am okay with people who go on social media to rant but I am against those who have turned it into a church to settle family issues. Normally, if you have a marital problem, you call your wife one on one. If you cannot contain it, you call in the parents. That’s how I saw it when I was growing up which is the culture I have embraced.

“In Teebillz situation, the way he spoke on social media really appeared as though he was going to commit suicide and said horrible things to his father.

“Those words were words you say and just die, but now that he is still alive, how would he face his father? It would have been better if he had just written a letter to the man instead of putting it online. Unfortunately again, he went to blast his wife and his wife’s mother. These are things that shouldn’t be put online.”
“Another thing is that Tiwa has a larger following than Teebillz, after Tiwa blasted him, it was extreme and it crushed him. He had no comeback; there is no comeback to things like that.”
The comedian also commented on a clash he had with top Nigerian singer, Davido:

“There are so many times that I allow issues to slide, for instance, I said a joke that happened to be out of context about Davido; Davido was really upset. He didn’t come at me, but I was a little bit shaded with what he said. I wanted to react but instead, I apologised.
“Personally for me, war should be war, come and say whatever you want to say to my face. It is wise for you not to bring out your personal issues on social media and that’s what I stand for.

“If it is a clap back at an artiste like yourself, then it is your choice. Once it gets to family, let those ones be in your house, let your Instagram and twitter group be between you, her father, her mother and herself.”

Celebrities / Basketmouth Blames GEJ For The Present Situation In Nigeria View Details by bestnaijaloaded: 3:24pm On Aug 10, 2016
Basketmouth blames GEJ for the present situation in Nigeria

Multi-award winning Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has blamed former president, Goodluck Jonathan, for the economic problems currently being faced in the country.

In an explosive piece posted on his official Instagram page, the comic actor also made it clear that he did not campaign for Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, during the last general election.

Basketmouth further noted that despite not performing his civic duty, he was ready to vote for any other candidate that is not Jonathan in the presidential election. “Truth of the matter is that I would have voted anyone that could speak 2 words of English against GEJ and that’s strictly based on the amount of greed and selfishness we witnessed from members of his administration in the 6 years that he sat on the rock.”

Below is his post titled “Time To Clear The Air”.

I usually try not to pay attention to comments from people that assume stuff or those who judge others based on perceptions. However I have also come to agree that when lies are said often enough, they begin to sound like truths. So I think it’s best I use this medium to clear the issue of “campaigns” and “support” now.

While many of my colleagues, friends and family members campaigned for the PDP, APC and various candidates during the last elections (and I cannot emphasize enough that it is their RIGHT to do so), I NEVER campaigned for BUHARI or ANY other politician.

ALL those saying that I did should do everything within their power to “THINK”. I know thinking can be a very difficult task for some but trust me, it can be a painless and enlightening process.

THINK of when I ever “CAMPAIGNED” for BUHARI!!.. Indeed I personally HOPED that he would win the election and perhaps that was evident in my “body language” and I am happy he won. But I did not campaign for him.

Truth of the matter is that I would have voted ANYONE that could speak 2 words of English against GEJ and that’s strictly based on the amount of greed and selfishness we witnessed from members of his administration in the 6 years that he sat on the rock.

However I think a few people interpret crying out against injustice by the one as campaign for the other. When the Late FELA KUTI and BOB MARLEY cried out against the injustices in their days, were they being partisan? Of course not. They were just being HUMAN!
I am forever grateful to God for blessing me with a flourishing career, a beautiful family, food on my table and small change in my pocket. However I see too many people everyday who have not been so lucky to travel and see the way things are outside Nigeria/Africa. I have seen how GOVERNMENT can influence and affect the lives of the downtrodden positively. I am still patient, praying and hoping that PMB can turn Nigeria’s economy around and help strengthen Nigeria’s social justice system.

This is not the first time Basketmouth is calling out former president Goodluck Jonathan for the state of the nation. In 2015, he called out Goodluck Jonathan and his administration for allegedly looting the public treasury
