ilugunboy: Umu Anambra.....the choice is yours, either: Both of them are already out.. We have chosen a candidate, a fine gentleman, a technocrat who happens to be the governor in-waiting- Dr Willy Maduabuchi Obiano (WMO) Picture of Obiano and wife @ Ekwueme Square in Awka yesterday..

Imagine an illiterate that dropped at JS-2 wants to lead the state with the best and brightest brains.. |
IFEANYI UBA IS BROKE The gragra from Ifeany Ubah, the former MD of Capital Oil and the flag-bearer of Labour Party in the forth-coming Anambra gubernatorial election has died down. Authentic sources have it that he is broke. He does not have money now to prosecute his election and has resorted to borrowing. Because of his past, nobody could lend money to him. The only mugu he has been able to swindle (that is what lending money to him is), is Chief Michael Ezeagu, the Managing Director of Swiss train, from Awgbu. He borrowed N110,000 Million to Ifeanyi and gave him additional N20, Million as campaign contribution. Ifeanyi promised him to appoint two Commissioners in his Government. Meanwhile, Chief Ugo Nsofor, from whom Ifeanyi Ubah bought cars worth N187 Million Naira is threatening to deal with him if he does not pay him. The word for Ugo is pity, because he has joined the litany of people and Financial institutions Ifeanyi Uba is owing to the tune of 166 Billion Naira, some of who are a. Cosmas Maduka (Coscharis) 22 Billion Naira b. Uju Ifejika of Brittania U 3 Billion Niara (read Thisday, July 23rd, 2012) c. Osy Osigwe 5 Billion Naira d. UBA 15 Billion Naira e. Access bank f. Subsidy fraud 45 Billion naira g. ETC, ETC, ETC The illiterate secondary school dropout (JS 2) has spent Billion on Judges procuring injunctions thinking they would last for ever. Recall, that the Diocese of Nnewi wanted to rehabilitate the Cathedral, Our Lady of Assumption, Ifeanyi Ubah insisted he will build a new one and knocked the old one down. Today, due to exposure of his evil ways and blockage of fraud money coming to him, the Cathedral work has since stopped. again, he is yet to pay Coscharis for Ford Jeeps he gave to all the Bishops in Anambra and beyond. |

warrior01: Lol...What a small worldWe are one nwanne m.. ![]() |
manny4life: Chino what you fail to understand is that an airport is a good idea but the question remain: IS IT VIABLE? Will the airport pay for itself? These are the questions that we need to ask. Airports make money from passengers as well landing fees and maybe a few royalties, so unless there's a huge patronage in hundreds of thousands of passengers at least, then Enugu is the best option for now. Enugu is close to Anambra, a moderate or even light rail into Nnewi and Onitsha will suffice. If there is any viable airport it is the one that is being built in Otuocha-Anambra. Anambra people are well traveled, so you can imagine when you want to come home from US, you will just fly direct to your state and so is so many other Anambrans. There are only few viable airports in Nigeria and that is Abuja, Lagos, PH, Kano and now Anambra. |
rafindo: it is only in nigeria dat airport are built out of sentiment nd politics/onitsha metropolis has no land for such project.an airstrip with a funtional monorail systrm is better.no olympic size stadium yet, decent skyline nd good infrastructure.airport business is not groundnut or spare part trade.Who told you that Onitsha does not have infrastructure? I think you should go back to the city once more and see for yourself wonders from Headbridge, Iweka flyover, Nkpor flyover, In land town is wearing a new look. The city has two brand new mini stadia. The skyline is awesome.. |
I share some Nnewi blood oo.. ![]() My wife is from Nnewi too.. |
obayaya: and maybe you should also make it compulsory for the business men to use that airport.. cos many of them still prefer enugu to asaba despite their varying distances. I still believe seaport should be our priority.Like as I said your comment remains with you. Why would any sane person travel miles just to catch a plane when the airport is now under his nose. The good thing is that the Anambra International Cargo/Passenger airport has been approved by FG, the site has been acquired and compensation paid. The EIA has been concluded. The actual construction is starting anytime soon. This is a collaboration between Orient Petroleum and Anambra state govt. Not even NL sentiment can stop the project that will take off real soon. The airport is being sited not too far from the Orient Refinery facilties and not too far from the Anambra major cities of Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi. |
Ngwakwe: Bros, I have begged you to rest this issue.I am only responding to Onyegecha. Besides this is a public forum where issues bothering on the overall development of our people should be discussed. I didn't open this thread to spite nor mock anybody nor state. Go to the beginnning of the thread and see how it started until some unrestrained elements came to derail it. Dalu |
Onyegecha: I must say that you are losing focus and derailing the thread by joining issues with those who want to distract you from the expository work you have on hand. There is no competition between Onitsha and Owerri. Each town is blessed in its unique way. This thread is about the deceit in the governance of Imo state, full stop.I completely agree with on your postulation. The issues we have most times is abagworo, each time he comes he brings this divisive and comparing mentality that usually gets him burnt in a heated argument. Abagworo came here in a bid to derail the thread he brought 'versus' into it. I agree with you, lets keep the debate on how 211billion was spent in Imo state. Thank you nwanne.. |
Onyegecha: Inasmuch as i agree with you that we have been saddled with bad leadership for too long, i refuse to accept the sentiment that Imo state is cursed. Please don't say that abeg. Our people are blessed with a lot of talent and diligence. UDENWA WAS BAD NEWS. OHAKIM WAS EVEN MORE BAD NEWS. UNDER ROCHAS, BAD NEWS HAS ASSUMED A FEARFUL FACE. He is terrible news and Imo people must shine their eyes and elect a true leader in 2015Nwanne gba halu mu.. Most of what I said here are to tame abagworo. Imo people are good people, infact my personal lawyer is an Imo guy who is practising here in Onitsha and he is doing quite well. I have lots and lots of Imo friends and we pally very well too. Forget NL ranting! The problem with Imo state at the moment is Rochas. Ohakin almost brought the state on the path of growth until Rochas came and busted all his good works and even abandoned his projects. I think what Imo people should do now is to plan on how to reject the guy in 2015 and vote him out. It is heartbreaking to see a gov hang a huge loan of over 200billion on innocent people and nobody is raising an eyelid. It baffled me when I stumbled on the loan dossier that Imo people have accepted their fate in the hands of this fraudster. And the worst of it all is that some misguided elements are supporting him at that. It is quite disheartening more especially when we have not seen anything reasonable on the ground to show for all the loans he acquired. |
asha 80: you cannot be too sure about that....hear ifeanyi ubah is broke now and that is why his campaign has mellowed down in recent times, ngige still has support that cannot be waved off.Ifeanyi broke? I knew it ![]() Ngige is not going anywhere, I was @ Ekwueme Square today, you needed to see the crowd that invaded the arena.. Am sure APGA will sit @ the Zik's Place (Anambra Govt House). Reporting from Ekwueme Square - Awka
|
Onyegecha: Okorocha's bulldozers have been unchained once again. Hot Fm is threatened, the state library is marked for destruction(with no alternative location), Lifeline assembly is threatened while some targets have already been destroyed. You guys should look carefully before you leap into a burning fire. Juo anyi(ndi Imo) ajuju azu na anyi si Oru. Nwanne with the pictures below you can tell we are not blinking. APC has no place in Anambra.... Its APGA....
|
This is a landslide for APGA in November.. |
Abagworo: Onitsha urban area is same size as Owerri. I believe Owerri should be around 400k while Onitsha is around 500k but when you add the urban area around Onitsha then you'll get an excess of 1million. Owerri is bigger than Onitsha proper but is same size as Onitsha urban area which includes Okpoko, Nkpor and Obosi.Shut up nwokem, Onitsha is over 3million while Owerre is not more than 400-500,000. In terms of landmass Onitsha has spilled over to the neighboring towns thereby making it bigger and larger in size than Owerre X2. |
Igbos have spoken..
|
Willy Obi flags off campaign @ Ekwueme Square Awka..
|
Abagworo: Its true that Anambra has highest population in Southeast but Onitsha is too tiny to contain 3million people. Even Port Harcourt that is about 10 times its size contains less than 2million.Onitsha is Owerre X2. Nwokem go and create a thread for that purpose let us meet there. This thread is dear to me so don't derail it.. ![]() |
Abagworo: You are a comedian. Where are the 3million people staying? Even Onitsha +Okpoko+Obosi+Nkpor is merely over 1million. Onitsha alone should be around 500kClown do you know that entire population of Anambra is about 7million, forget about the warped census figure. Anambra has the highest population in the SE and that tells you where people migrate most. Please don't derail this thread. Create a thread for that purpose.. |
"Nigerian Horn checks revealed that the business of commercial sex hawking in Owerri is far beyond what goes on in other neigbouring state capitals. This makes Owerri, favourite destination for men and women who troope into the state to enjoy the sex trade." http://www.nigeriahornnewspapers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1112%3Aprostitution-in-imo-women-set-to-battle-Unclad-club-owners&catid=50%3Astate-news&Itemid=27 Did you read the highlight part..? Imo state is gone forever. There zero hope for its redemption. No wonder there is so much poverty, unemployment, flith etc, because of sin of immorality that has covered the place. Sodom of Nigeria. The state is under going destruction now due it sins.. |
Abagworo: But why are 99% of Anambra girls living there? About 1.5 million Anambra people live in Imo and Onitsha cannot be up to 800k.Anambran to live in Imo state ?? Am telling you that there is no Anambran living anywhere near the borders of Imo state talk more inside it. Onitsha today hosts over 800,000 imolites. If you doubt me go to Drug Mart, go to Awada, go to Fegge and see Imo populations. Population of Onitsha is over 3million., go figure. That is the last thing an Anambra will do. |
Andre Uweh: What does it profit you to open threads such as this one here that either brings one Igbo state to another in a fight or one Igbo individual fighting his brother.Nwanne dalu maka ajuju a.. This thread was created just to expose the wicked and evil governance in Imo state. The below leakage was the major reason for the thread. It was created to ask questions until misguided elements and perverts as abagworo came to derail it into 'versus' issues. "The Revenue Mobilization and Fiscal Allocation Commission [RMFAC] earlier this month raised alarm on the debt burden of some states in the Federation. The National Assembly has also raised the same alarm. The Imo State Government has severally said that she has no loans taken since the inception if this administration. But during the budget presentation, for the 2013 budget, it became clear that Imo State government is heavily indebted. The budget reveals that twenty two (22) billion naira loan was obtained by this administration in 2011, and sixty one (61) billion naira obtained in 2012. The government further seeks the approval of eighty one (81) billion naira loan for the coming 2013. These figures do not include the forty five (45) Billion naira loan obtained from Zenith Bank using the Local Government Area Allocations, as collateral. If the State House of Assembly approves the budget, with the requested 81 billion naira loan for 2013, Imo would have taken a total of 211 Billion Naira loan in 2years of Rescue Mission administration." http://www.imostateblog.com/2012/12/16/mortgaging-the-future-of-imo-children-dr-kelechi-okpalake/#sthash.6XRK9ZBn.dpuf |
