Andrew Efemini; was my lecturer in year one at uniport about 14 years ago , philosophy and logic was his course, he was then a Dr.
And we all know him to be very theatrical and outspoken as well, the man is very dramatic.
During the ASUU strike some years back, he claimed he had stopped his lecturing job and has turned into a Bus conductor, called press men and they captured him loading a bus, calling on passengers to a location and jumping into the bus when it was filled up as the bus sped off to its destination, while he hung from the inside, shouting to the direction it was headed

Professor Andrew Efemini is a professor of Philosophy at the University of Port Harcourt who was suspended by the institution for inciting students' to protest against the schools "No Fees, No Exam" policy


I AM NOW A DESTITUTE
Having survived five months as against the statutory three months of suspension, I am left with no option but to inform the public that I now need financial support to continue to survive.
I have informed the university in writing that as a diabetic and hypertensive patient, my life is threatened by the cut of my salary as a result of my suspension from duty due to allegations over students related agitations over fee policies of the university of Port Harcourt.
I have contemplated suicide severally with a suicide message for the Nigerian people on how a Professor or anybody at that should not be treated. I hope the university of Port Harcourt will take note of this paragraph.
I see people who are supposed to be my friends pass me everyday unconcerned about how I survive. May be that is human nature.
Not even the Union ASUU has shown concern about my life threatening conditions. The Union where I was branch chairman for five years. Strange things happen.
Please, concerned Nigerians should come to my aid. I need at least N50,000 each month to buy my insulin alone. I also buy other drugs. I have a family to also run.
Please don't ignore this post. It is my last effort to stay alive. People who think that speaking for students is a crime must be put to shame.

The thing is: you just need to repent and accept Jesus as your LORD ans PERSONAL SAVIOUR and maybe the spirit of God will open your eyes of understanding.

Thank You! But I have one question for you; Has God opened your eyes with understanding? If yes then I don't see any reason why you wrote the Above instead of explaining it to a common sinner like me

I was jejely surfing the net like I always do until I stumbled on this piece about the account of Job, the writer was arguing that God and Satan made a bet to see if Job would disobey, he went further to say that God just wanted to use Job to enlarge his already large ego by disappointing Satan, he argued that to God it was all a game that he never cared about Job nor his children.


So I was thinking what if the writer is right? What if to God this was all a game? Look at it from this angle;


   God created Adam and Eve as perfect beings, but he wanted to test them if they would obey him, why will he do that? He is the all knowing God and he can never do wrong so why would he want to test them?Does he have doubts?



This is what I think;

Maybe Satan might have dared him, Satan might have told him to put the tree of good and bad in the garden of eden to test Adam and Eve, if he didn't want them to eat it why put it there? If you have a baby and you don't want him/her to touch your phone or something you would remove it from where it would be seen by them, would you not? So God should have removed the tree but maybe Satan dared him to put it there to test his creation and he did so to enlarge his already large ego as the writer said. Maybe that was why he was so mad that he cursed the serpent, Adam and Eve and their offsprings, maybe that's why we all have sin.


Maybe God and Satan made a bet and that was why God made hell and made Satan the chief of it, maybe God wants to redeem himself that's why he allowed us stay, maybe he wants to prove to Satan that people would still serve him. Maybe God never loved us maybe we are a just a tool he is using to redeem himself in the eyes of Satan and the angels. Maybe this is a game, and Satan has won more because he convinced perfect humans to turn against their creator, maybe Job's example and that of the other servants of old was not enough, Maybe God needs a greater number of people to equate Satan's win. Maybe that was why Jesus came to the earth to be tested by Satan too.

Maybe one day when they are both tired of the game God would just destroy all of us and create another set of beings.
