LagosismyHome: Good is subjective .... my poor score might be your good score and vice versa .
I don't think both the toefl or sat are good , but that me because I expect much higher . Hence why I said you have admission so focus on that and how you present yourself Thanks |

mcafeez: Common, why would you still list the community colleges you have used 3 months ago. You were denied because VOs don't believe in community colleges(According to popular comments). No need to mention those community issh again. List the universities that you applied to.. If you are asked how many give u admission, list them. But be ready to have good answer for why you choose the one you are going to.... Guru in the house can still correct my comment.... Just answering you base on experience I have gained here.... Thanks for your response.. I applied to this 4 schools Uni of Alaska Murray state university Morgan state university Southern Arkansas uni I hope am good to go with this? (Not red flag) |

I greet the house.. I need really advise....oooo I was refused visa with a community college summer 2018, I had to defer the admission. I posted my transcript here: The vo ask this questions according towards the end of the interview.. -do you write any standardize test -have you travel before -are you married And the answer to the above questions is NO
I had to defer the admission to fall 2018 and to a university, and also taking Sat and toefl,I received my i-20 already and I have successful transfer my Sevis fee to the new i-20. My questions now is that 1. We i have to fill a new ds160? If YES. After filling it,will I link it to the old one?
2. What will be the best answer to write in as reason for my first delay?
Thanks |

Ubah1: All your details for the previous interview are still with them and they will revisit it during your next interview. So while filling new Ds 160 form, try and streamline your answers. Thanks for your respond.. The only change on my new ds160 is the school from CC to UNI, every other things are the same What will be the best answer to past as a reason for my first delay? |

goodemma20: There's nothing wrong with your age. However, looking at the fact that you have gone a bit far in life, the VO would want to know what you've been doing since and why you've decided to go back to school at this point of your life. Thanks for you respond |

justolowo: Na u do the interview now lol, but examples are; 1) Because you didn’t write any standardized test at that time and the consular officer wasn’t convinced with the explanation you provided. 2)My sponsors didn’t have enough funds to cover my tuition and accommodation at that time. Thanks for your responds What about saying something like this: Because I was not confident enough then and i didn’t write any standardized test at that time and I was not giving the opportunity to express myself, the consular officer wasn’t convinced What do think about this |

justolowo: Well, you should also know that the school is an aeronautical, 'not-common' and private university. However, that should not affect you in anyway. Having two kids and going for masters at a private institution might be a red flag but you have to give good reasons why that school will help your career development (probably because of a potential promotion or an offer you are seeking).
Regarding your ds160, provide a good and important reason on why you where denied in your previous interviews. Can you please help with an idea of a good and important reasons on previous denied |

Welcome bro. You need both for funding and all. However, there are schools or courses that may waive the SAT, I think. You really need it though. PM me if you can. Thanks for your respond Am expecting my i-20 from southern Arkansas uni. And I have register for sat and TOEFL already |

So sorry about everything ..... I hope no visa agent is involved.....
First, after going through the web, I found that HCC.is a community school with 100% acceptance rate and no application fee . Before going back there (embassy )for future success, you want to get admitted into a school (a university), that is ...........kind of competitive. Now prior to this, try to take GRE or GMAT -- at least take TOEFL .This will show that you have good intentions and indeed a student .
Second, Just know that you have raised a red flag with your last interview, therefore, there's no point in going back there to raise it even higher by scheduling another one . I once read of a guy who went in 7times . He took with him proves upon evidences upon documents (e remain for him to tell the VO to follow him home, so he can show him...... ).Still, he was denied (island of red flags). You don't want to force it.
Don't worry, you will be fine. Thanks for your respond Applying for a UNI , what test will be best to take SAT or TOEFL? |

goodemma20: VOs like it when there's an academic progression, a career path per say. CC is just like OND. The VO will likely think that you don't intend to study at all. Your age makes makes the situation worse. What have you been doing since? and why have you decided to study now at this time of life? are questions that will be going through the mind of the VO. Think of all these and make serious changes before revisiting the embassy.......hope this helps. Thanks for your respond Will my age be ab issue going to the university? And between sat and teofl which do u advice and take |
