Lewandowski in his best season ever couldn't tally Lionel Messi figures same as Ronaldo. Lewy won his first Golden shoe at 31, at 31 Messi already had 4. What Messi offers right now is what a lot of top clubs will break bank to get in some young midfielders out there(creativity). I'm pretty sure you are always wowed anytime players like Debryne, Ozil, Fabregas, David Silva etc make those Defensive splitting passes and you see them as best in what they do and there's a certain Lionel Messi that does it better but you see it as nothing because only goals count just to score cheap point in Ronaldo vs Messi argument.

Fine Haaland is known for only his goals...but atleast Haaland is in his prime and will likely give City 40-50 goals a season, but the truth is Ronaldo has passed his prime and cant score as many goals as Lewy and Haaland that's why he cant lead the attack of any top team.Messi on the other hand has passed his prime too and might not score as many goals as before,but he still adds to the collective team performance, even if he is not the main guy he can play a supporting role and become relevant unlike Ronaldo...I feel that's the difference between the two
