I can call players that have also proven themselves in more clubs. There's Ibrahimovic, there's Tevez, there's even Nicholas Anelka. Messi has succeeded in arguably the best club of the decade and if you check the stats for the past decade, I think Messi still comes out on top, the only area Ronaldo beats him is in the UCL trophy and it's only by one trophy. Messi has more goals in the past decade, more assists, more key passes, more goal contributions direct and indirect, more trophies combined, more golden boots, more ballondors, what else do we need to measure the brillance of a player?

Eden Hazard, Ousmane Dembele, Coutinho, Jaio Felix, all joined La liga after CR7 left RM and are all more highly rated than all those who joined Serie A after CR7 joined.

No matter how dead La liga is, it cannot be as dead as the Serie A which is in its worst period ever. At least Barca has reached semi-finals and UCL QF since. No Serie A team has gone beyond QF since CR7 joined and actually most don't make it out of the group stages in the recent seasons. Tell me what can be deader than that madame.
