Fashion/Clothing Market / Where To Buy Groom Wedding Suits In Nigeria by bewyse: 9:42am On Jul 03, 2018
They say nothing lasts forever. Diamonds are forever; so is a groom’s look (and his bride’s), on his wedding day. Check the wedding album.
A Groom’s suit is not just meant to be a ceremonial outfit for his wedding. It should be a statement saying; “I am the man of the moment” to the well wishers and that which says to his bride; “I made an extra effort to look good for you”.
DM Wardrobe understands this and has made it a duty to serve and provide the Groom with quality, carefully tailored and state of the art suits that enhances his personality and boost his pride for this memorable day, thereby complimenting his beautiful bride.

Politics / If Systemspecs Decides To Shutdown The TSA Project Today. by bewyse: 10:09pm On Feb 25, 2016
I know a lot of you have been following the Remita TSA story. It may interest you to know that Nigeria Senate has recommended the termination of SystemSpecs contract with CBN.

The first question that comes to my mind is the CBN governor and OAGF having both denied the existence of any contract with SystemSpecs owners of Remita, how come the Senate want the contract terminated if there was no contract in the first place?

If the TSA contract was signed with Microsoft or Oracle, would the Nigeria senate have recommended its termination? We have been preaching about the hashtag #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira but we have failed to implement policies to encourage it. SystemSpecs as an indigenous company has done well for itself, proving to the world that an indigenous company can handle a massive financial project as the TSA.

If SystemSpecs decides to shutdown the TSA project today - as at now, the following will be some of the impacts;

1. Total collapse of TSA project.
2. Nigeria economy will suffer.
3. Students in Federal Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, etc wont be able to pay for school fees.
4. Scarcity of Petroleum resources since payment to DPR will be suspended.
5. CAC wont be able to registered new companies since payment is done via Remita.
6. No payment to Securities Exchange Commissions
etc.......................

Our Senate have failed to study the effect of recommending termination of CBN contract with SystemSpecs without having a parallel alternative in place. Our Senate has also failed with it's proclamation of #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira .

If I am the MD of SystemSpecs, I will shutdown TSA and take the government to court for breach of contract with clear terms.

Politics / Re: Central Bank Recovers N8.6bn From Owner Of Remita, Systemspecs by bewyse: 4:17pm On Nov 13, 2015

Indications have emerged regarding how the lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye misled his colleagues and other Nigerians with allegations that Remita, a payment platform owned by SystemSpecs, is milking the country by charging 1% as fee on all transactions in the Treasury Single Account, TSA.

This is as a letter issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on December 17, 2013 and circulated to all Deposit Money Banks, may have rubbished Senator Melaye’s claim.

In the letter titled “Commencement of Federal Government independent revenue collection under the Treasury Single Account (TSA) initiative” the CBN agreed that “a fee of 1% of funds collected is payable; and this would be shared by solution provider and participating banks.

Further investigations revealed that the apex bank, before choosing Remita as gateway, examined existing local and foreign infrastructures before its endorsement and choice of the platform. Aside approaching NIBSS; a company owned by all Nigeria banks; including the CBN, the apex bank also reviewed the suitability of RTGS provided by CMA a foreign software house, and was convinced about its unsuitability before SystemSpecs’ Remita was considered.

According to facts sourced online and via the company website, Remita is a payment platform and not a company as many including Senator Melaye would want the upper chamber to believe.

Media reports also claimed that SystemSpecs; owner of Remita-the CBN licensed payment gateway has been in existence for about 23years while Remita has been holding sway in the electronic payments space for about 10 years- long before the advent of TSA.

Investigations revealed that during evaluation, the CBN’s requirement-which was an integrated platform that connect to the banks and CBN’s platform, appeared beyond the reach of locally available solution.

Nevertheless, to make the selection process transparent, the CBN invited other companies to participate in the bidding as was the required procedure. CBN sources said Remita was offered the TSA project because of its unique capabilities to deliver on the requirement.

Further investigations showed that the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, OAGF, and the World Bank supported the project and its evaluation. “After due diligence, the contract was given to Systemspecs to deploy Remita as the CBN TSA Payment Gateway,” the CBN source said.

On the Kogi Senator’s disclosure that Remita is a collection agent, the CBN source debunked this by saying “TSA is not just about collections, but payment and collection. The payment component started since January 2012 with little or no resistance. However, Collections which will have greatest impact on the economy by curbing corruption and blocking leakages was frustrated and repeatedly delayed until the new administration came in and insisted it must take off.”

Nigerians have processed over N12 trillion in transactions on Remita, an e-payment platform developed by Nigeria software company, SystemsSpecs, to drive the cashless initiative of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

SystemSpecs is also confident that its Remita solution platform will not only revolutionise the e-payment industry in Nigeria but also complement the nation’s apex bank’s cashless initiative that has been expanded to go live nationwide as from the beginning of this month.

John Obaro, Managing Director/CEO of SystemSpecs, told journalists in Lagos this week that the company through Remita has been able to execute an average of N500 billion monthly transactions and hopes to further deepen this by increasing penetration to other target markets
Obaro also confirmed that over N12 trillion worth of funds transfer, collections and payment of salaries, pensions and taxes have so far been processed through the company’s e-payments platform, Remita.

Remita is a powerful platform that presents individuals and organizations with a very simple and intuitive user interface.Today individuals, private and public sectors organization have processed over N12 trillion worth of transaction on the platform”, he said.

Remita has now been seen as a national resource as it has been adopted by the apex bank in Nigeria as the e-payment and e collections platforms of the federal government which is a testimonial to government commitment to the patronage and promotion of the local ICT industry.

A widely adopted shared services platform, Remita is in use by all commercial banks all pension funds over 400 micro fiance and mortgage banks and thousands of public and private sector organizations as well as individuals John added.

According to him, apart from providing e-payments, e-payroll and e-schedule on a single platform, Remita also offers users the ability to view balances across different bank accounts on just a single screen.

Demola Igbalajobi, Group Head, Remita Services, explained that while spearheading a revolution of electronic payments in the country, the company is simultaneously working with diverse stakeholders with a footprint across all 36 states and "hopes to increase such."

"Working with diverse stakeholders with a footprint across all 36 states and the FCT, Remita has been and continues to be at the forefront of revolutionising the e-payment and e-collections industry in Nigeria", according to the company executive.

Remita now offers zero integration fees to SMEs who are billers or collector as part of its effort and contribution to the national e-payment initiative, the company said
