There has always been news of killings of innocent civilians by uniformed men in Nigeria, especially the nigerian police force, over matters as minute as a little misunderstanding to refusal to hand in the usual 20 naira bribe on various motor ways. But in these recent years such news has multiplied that for the 2nd half of this year alone, we've heard about such killings in an average of one or two killings a week. If not shooting a girl in a demolition site, its ordering of police to lynch students, or killing a driver or killing of protesters and shooting of a commercial motorcyclist(okada) and even the recent shooting of a bus conductor . With such news i only but wonder, 'why has such killings increased?'. Instead of the Popular saying ''Police is your friend'', what most of us have in mind now is ''the fear of Police is the begining of wisdom''. Now we fear the very ppl that were set up to protect lives , properties and our right, but with such killing actions it makes it clear that in the eyes of the uniformed men we've no right at all.
And what are our leaders doing about this, if i may ask.?

Its no doubt that the duo nigerian players playing for chelsea fc, made a lot of differences in their champions league match against Shakhtar this evening. With Mikel Obi making alot of brilliant attempts on the goal post, and finally succeeded is scoring one, which was disqualified. His goal in a long while. On the other hand, victor Moses scored the winning goal after staying on the pitch for only a couple of minutes. The goal was unexpected cos it was only about 30seconds to the final whistle.. With mikel's impressive play and Moses's goal.. I must say, its really a gr8 outing for the Nigerians
