So I have passed the aptitude test, oral interview, and done the medical test. But it has been over two months now and I am yet to hear from them. I am thinking of sending an email to the employer.

1) Is it okay to do that?
2) How long should I wait?
3) How long is the employment process in big organisations? It has been over five months since we started.

Mheen jobs are scarce now o. One gat follow up. Waited 3 weeks for a job but was always in touch using the right language, hoping to meet
a great team, learn and develop skills to make reasonable contributions. After medicals and offer, waited another 3 weeks to resume. Was always following up in someway by greetings. The tension no be here. It's always good to follow up if you have a contact person.

Bro to clear your thoughts, it is not how good your cgpa may be. Na God get Power las las. Mine is amongst the LOWEST of 2.1s (let me leave the rest) from a state school of the engineering dept. But this is like my 5th attempt with same SOP and written both tests and attended interviews (I keep my calm). I just gave it a try at least to get sponsorship even dou it is LSS. My submissions are aside CGPA and SOP (which I only indicated Institution and Course with no reference to my research area) but got shortlisted for interview. your research area at the interview and its impact to the oil and gas industry need be a strong and relevant one in your field. You really dont need to Know nothing on it. Just Google and speak confidently. Some working experience may be an added advantage in the oil and gas sector or better still what you have been engaged in prior to ur interview and at the moment. If u hav always gotten to interview stage no much worries on ur SOP. Redirect your energies. My little cent. thank.

No one can say categorically. But during application, admission letter was one of the documents we were asked to upload. How did you bye pass that....regardless, you can take the risk of attending the interview since you were invited and possibly explain that you would be picking up the application form that will soon be on sales.

As in, i did not apply to any local university. I just applied wit oda docs for d LSS now I am shortlisted and still dont have an admission letter from any school. I hope admission letter wuld not b an issue at interview. Besides admissions for my school options have long passed.

please can you enlighten us more on the institution and courses section, there are three options what does it mean because u can only be in one institution

Just first, second and third choices of the university with their courses. You might have different course options for the three but your first choice should b stated in your SOP. Thats watvi tink

They should hav a way to evaluate and bring the tests to same level playing ground . one would hav loved to take the PA test cos i believ one wuld hav don better now. D engineering no be here particularly if the PA test would be some Mgt and Procurement stuff.
