Those released clearly needed help after their release. Why releasing them into the society when help wouldn't be provided for them to be able to fully integrate into the society?

Below is my early contribution
We all need help but some of us choose to be civil about it while some choose crime knowing fully well it's consequences. Let em pay the price without pardon or rehabilitation of any such, it hardly works and I feel such acts encourage others to commit crime.

After pardon I expect them to re-orientate and teach them a skill. Pay them stipends for like one year before releasing them to the society
Like compensate them for the crime committed right? The Truth is we need death penalty for minor cases for a country as corrupt as ours...

When Soldiers are killed in the north, they do not go and close down mosques and markets.

But when it happens in southeast, they start behaving like bandits

Many checkpoint there but hoodlums are still operating. What then is the benefit of having military presence?

Lack of intelligence is the greatest undoing of Nigeria military.

I agree with you that most poor people are result of their actions but I wonder what would make a person want to take power from you by destroying your hard work? The malice must be deep and festering.
It's quite normal for people to do such cause of malice's and maybe financial gain whatsoever, a lot of people doing such for a faint-smile is quite terrifying..

CrimeDeath To All Arsonist. Most Poor People Deserves To Be Poor, Don't You Think?? by bhest(op): 5:15pm On Feb 09, 2024
You know it actually funny umh, the only one thing that seems to be absolutely free and bequeathed to each person by birth no matter our status, is the root of the problems (kidnapping, banditry corruption, arsonist etc)humanity face today and might be the end of us. Quite a lot of people most exspecially the poor have lost the ability to LOVE and Empathy, that in'it is a suicidal ideation. worst off is you can't help this category of people cause nothing wey you won tell 'em, all you can do is sit back and watch 'em self-destruct cause all we give comes back to us, which is absolutely painful for 'em after all said and done. Like it actually crazy out here, people will hurt you for no reason make we no yarn about the sellouts wey plenty pass. I do tell people the poor to some extent are the worst problem we face in Nigeria and worst off is the best thing for 'em is to remain poor (bad for 'em either ways cause our actions and inactions defines that) cause there level of wickedness, jealousy, envy just had to be tame by been poor if not they fit destroy the world sharply before thy kingdom comes if they get access to wealth and power. People often tell tales of how people intentionally set fire on farms for no justification or a little. It actually tough been at the receiving end that I must confess. I happen to be a victim this year, all the hard work done for years gone, cause of a spark of light from an idiot that wants to be wicked. T'was an eye sour yesterday seeing my efforts (farms) in ruins cassava, palm trees, bananas all burnt and gone; despite the precautionary measures put in place guess it must actually happen anyways. Kalmar and posterity won't be fair to the arsonist, it's just heartbroken that most Nigerians have become this heartless and an obstruction to success. Where does man pikin start from now? The feeling is just exhausting with financial obligations choking already...

[quote author=Jaiyeking post=107541976]Transparent ke. Tell that to millions of people that applied without connection and are still waiting for approval. You're 1 in a thousand or even 10,000, you're just lucky. So don't say it's transparent cause I know the system and it isn't. [/quotes
Ain't gat nothing else to say to you again, not surprised with ur reply tho cause that's how an average Nigerian thinks "very shallow" no govt initiative is ever real to you Guy's even with a lot of testimonies out there. My advice to anybody who's loan has not been approved is to stay calm e go reach you certainly, no go dash any hungry and corrupt staff ur hard earned money for nothing.

Not just any official oh, majorly people in Abuja. And opening an account wouldn't help.
Oga can you just STF-Up already. People like you are quite worse than the politicians u blame for all ur life miseries, always spreading falsehood with so much confidence. The loan process is very transparent, I didn't even remember when I applied for the covid-19 loan but still got approval late last month. Made a mistake while filling my bank details, I got this message from em today. Dear Applicant,
To get your COVID-19 Loan, click on the link https://covid19.nmfb.com.ng/HomeLoans

They want to legalise IGBO so that more useless individuals can litter our environment. They just want to make youths more unproductive so that they can continue to render them more useless. The man footing the bill must first introduce the Indian helm to his first born then we will know how productive this Indian helm is to the society. Very disgusting set of individuals calling themselves honourable.
See as you just take the matter personal like say na IGBO kill u for ur first life.. Nawa oh
