Even with Federal might, I don't just see Ekiti going where Fayose does not go. This guy is in tune with his people.

Fayemi strikes me as a guy that will be rubbing hand sanitizer after every handshake with the people we are seeing in the pictures here,and that is why I feel PDP will still retain Ekiti State.

Fayose knows how to play grassroot politics,as compared to the more refined Aje-butter that wants to be the Governor under the APC banner.

Hi. New here but have read threads for years til now and I just have a simple question to ask . Ok, I know how dim I sound but I married my Nigerian husband 8 years ago. Next week, we apply for his permanent leave to remain here. We've been happy enough since we got married, the usual ups and downs but nothing too serious. Anyway, I found that he has a website advertising a business in Nigeria. Asked him about it and he says yes its his but its not up and running yet (like thats why I was mad at him rather than because he set ghis up without even telling me). I was looking at some photos on his site and I came across a poster laying out the days events for his fathers funeral. At the foot of the poster it says 'by [his name but different surname] on behalf of the family. Now, this new surname is the same as his fathers so I believe it to be his true name. Asked him about it and he says that his surname is different to the rest of his family because he chose to take his paternal grandfathers name. I assume his father should also bear the grandfathers name? He just keeps telling me that I don't understand Nigerian customs/traditions but now the word 'scammed' keeps popping into my head. A simple yes or no would be enough - is it usual for a man to NOT take his fathers name? Thanks in advance.

Having fixed their marriage date, she met me, and we fell in love. We were long lost friends. She then told me she would not continue with the marriage plan. Please, understand that I'm not rich o. Note that I love her so much, but as a rule, men with balls "no send", and I may choose to hurt her. I told her to apologize for that statement but she refused. Of all the sins in this world, blackmail is the only one not forgivable by me.

Should I do my worst if she refuses to apologize?

Hmnnnn, I have gone through the whole thread and I read every single comment and first I will like to answer Autoreport's question, yes the bridge is in Ado Ekiti, and that is the picture at night, I still travel along the same road last night around 8pm and believe me it was beautiful, the traffic lights were all working and motorists were all obeying the traffic lights. Now as to the necessity of such a project in Ado Ekiti I can tell you this that it is needed...like a user said, flyovers are meant to decongest traffic at certain junctions that are notorious for gridlocks and this particular area qualifies for one, the essence of such a project might not be seen today but in the future all travelers along that road will come to realise the importance. As to the cost of the project, me I don't know, but I know government make money from capital projects. May I also point out that I am not an indigene of Ekiti but business transactions take me to that state on a weekly basis and believe me I did see transformation in the level of infrastructural development in the state. I was around when Gov. Fasoye came around the first time when he opened up so many roads just like Gov. Agagu did in Ondo state. Most of the road project started by Gov. Fayose were abandoned after he left office, a vivid example is the Iworoko Ifaki dual carriage way. On the issue of salaries, I will score him low, but let's ask ourselves what is the revenue base of Ekiti State compared with her neighboring state Ondo? Ondo State with 13% oil derivation money monthly as an oil producing state is owing the tertiary institutions staff tons of salary arrears especially Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo. Ekiti is lucky to have a Governor that is building roads but not paying salaries regularly whereas Ondo state is unlucky to have a Governor that is not even paying salaries at all and not constructing roads either. Abeg I tire for Nigeria....my warning to Ekiti people, don't make the same mistake Ondo people made in 2017......PS, I am not a politician neither am I a card carrying member of any political party but I always look at issues objectively , that is what makes me a successful professional. I say the truth always not minding whose ox is gored

exactly what happened to me. Where I regret the most was I never fvcked her. I dated this girl while I was still in 200l uniben back then 2012. I invested my money, time and energy to see that everything worked fine. I also promise to marry her not knowing I was building my castle in the air. After wasting 6years of relationship, the next thing I got last two weeks was a whatsapp message and I quote " I know I have really offended you but you need someone better than me". " don't bother about me and take care of yourself ". that's the message I got from her. Thank God I have already a good job in a multi national company that always keep me busy.. I would have committed suicide. It's all for good sha..
thank God she left while things are working out for good.. I was deceived by love and the the girls name is LOVETH. Loveth will never know peace in her marriage and life endeavors. I keep having negative thoughts about her and she will meet her match on a good day. I never bleeped her all in the name of keeping myself till marriage. May God will surely punish her. I used a whole lot of money just to please her, yet she dumped me. As am writing this now, Loveth will have a bad marriage and family.. so shall it be IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

I have 2 boys, Kevin and Alvin, 4 and 1yr old respectively, both were on 6-month exclusive breastfeeding, Had Cow&Gate2 baby formula, Kevin is just too active, he doesn't doesn't even walk at home, he runs even when I take him out (cos he doesn't even play in the compound), he can't stay in a place for 2 minutes except he's watching his favorite cartoon channel GoTv 60, no matter how you beat him he doesn't cry for more than few seconds, he learns too much that he even corrects me his father but the problem is he's too active (I don't want to use the word stubborn). His 11+ mths younger brother is already following his footsteps, their mother shouts and beats Kevin every minute for jumping around in the house like monkey. He even engages in fight with me whenever I want to watch my favorite channels except I beat him thoroughly, he wouldn't allow anyone touch anything that is his. Their mother is fed up and losing weight and she's afraid his Alvin is already acting likewise. I don't know what to do because you can't leave Kevin alone in the house without closed monitoring for a minute else something bad and injurious might happen. All my life, I've never see a kid like my boy, I need advise on what to do, it was worse when he was younger. I don't like beating him like his Mom does but won't have peace at home due to excessive shouting and scolding except he's asleep. Anyone with ideas on how to curtail this?
