Amaq Agency released a video showing an execution of a Chadian soldier, captured last week in an ambush between Litri and Ngouboua.

ISWAP is also trying to disprove the Chadian President's statement about them being dislodged from the country.
The terrorists claim to have killed four Chadian soldiers, captured a fifth after attacking two army boats between Ngouboua and Litri.
ISWAP's leaders have usually spoken classical (fusha) Arabic or Hausa in videos, tho in some videos like this one (unmaskingbokoharam.com/2019/04/10/isw…) Kanuri was used in pep talks; but the latest horrific murder video of a Chadian soldier was by a Chadian Arabic-speaking ISWAP commander.

ARMED FORCES OF NIGERIA SUSTAINS ONSLAUGHT ON TERRORISTS IN THE NORTH EAST AS AIR TASK FORCE NEUTRALIZES SEVERAL ISWAP FIGHTERS AT KOLLORAM, BORNO STATE

1. The Armed Forces of Nigeria is sustaining its onslaught against terrorists elements in the North East. In this regard, the Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE yesterday, 25 April 2020, executed air strikes which neutralized several Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters at Kolloram on the fringes of the Lake Chad in Borno State.

2. The operation was conducted based on credible intelligence reports indicating that some of the ISWAP leaders and fighters had converged in the settlement for a meeting. Accordingly, Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and surveillance aircraft were scrambled to attack the location. Overhead the target area, the terrorists were seen moving towards the edges of the settlement and were engaged, leading to neutralization of several of them. The few survivors were taken out in subsequent passes as the jets strafed the area.

3. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, in furtherance of the objective of restoring peace and security in the North East, will intensify offensive operations against the enemies of our Nation.

Whenever I see pictures of this Proforce ARA-II MRAP, am so happy that such hardware is coming from Naija.
Can’t wait till they go further in adding RWS and Radio/GPS navigation system and other accessories too.

"Boko Haram fighters have opened fire on the convoy carrying the family of a former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff."

Egypt- ISIS photos of IED attack against a Caiman MRAP near Rafah, North #Sinai

Note that the targeted vehicle is carrying IED jammers, something pretty consistent in ISIS footage from North Sinai.

A lot of question going through my mind when I saw this picture on twitter;
- was the 2nd vehicle carrying I.E.D jammer not working ?
- was it a remotely controlled I.E.D or the conventional I.E.D a vehicle/troops has to stepped on them and get triggered?
- And sometimes most of this hardware fails/human errors.

This is my take, if the first or vehicle in front had mine rollers it would have demined the I.E.D either remotely/conventional Placed I.E.D. A lesson African military should learn from, his what kind of method are they using detonating the IEDs if the jammers are doing their job. This bloody terrorist are not sleeping they are getting more innovative and advanced by the day !

What is the equivalent of midshipman in other services??(is it not the rank given to those that went to maritime Academy)??

I thought Lieutenant is equivalent to Army captain??
The mid-ship tank is not usually awarded to officers and haven’t seen it been awarded but it’s a rank in the Navy.

They have a Navy that beats Russia, at least for surface ships already. They are by far better than France.

If we take out the nuclear possibility, the Chinese have built a really impressive Navy.

Also the speed of the build is impressive and remarkable. If they can build at this pace in peace, just imagine what they would do in war time.
The problem with Russia has been funding, especially after the break of the soviet union.
