tdayof: The Russians have been dealing with ISIS with SU35, SU30 and others. The JF17 is our best bet for now because we need speed and noreover, the JF17 can drop ordinance at a very high altitude. God bless your bread with butter..... That dude called kabe1 must be a frustrated retard. |

Odunayaw: JF17s would have only been there for acrobatics in my opinion In the video was there any response by Mi24/35?
altogether I think TRADOC isn't flexible at all. All these lessons we have learnt constantly from ECOMOG years to Boko Insurgency and what do we show for it? Repetitive mistakes on home soil? Dammit!
Hopefully they get the SF units to track the spoors of the boko people to trail them back to their enclaves and harass them Wow , wow................. The jf17s is not built only for acrobatic purpose only, it's a multirole fighter jet built to take out ground target. It takes a dare devil pilot of a Mi24/35 to attack such gathering of enemies with AA guns attacking from different directions. What we need here is a combination of a faster jet and precision guided muinition/bomb. |

tdayof: If we need fighters from China in few weeks, we will get them. We can even get some used Mig or flankers for now. If we get now, so what's delaying us . When we can get cheap jf17s or his it till our entire force is been wiped out. |

kabe1: Dude, are you sure you are okay at all?
You claimed to have watched the video, please what did you actually watch there, or were you watching the video through the back of your cheap Chinese phone?
There clearly were fast jets in the area, an Alpha Jet and an F-7, what extra benefit will another fast jet provide in such a scenario?
Damn you're such a dullard!
What is required there is a CAS aircraft with a good loiter time. That's an attack helicopter or a Super Tucano type aircraft, not a fast jet olodo! MUMU next time you keep your stinky mouth and clueless brain off what you don't know. The rafale jets is way faster than the jf17 and it's been neutralising attacking ground targets in the Sinai region in Egypt. In fact speed plus precision guided weaponry is what we need in these scenario. The handles of Alpha jet been hit here is 50/50 where you have gathering of AAG. The jf17 is what we really need in these type of situation, taking out the hard targets; " BH main guns". Then the Alpha jets or attack helicopters can then do the sweeping of other soft targets and escaping terrorist. Only a mad man who ulter what you just said, "a multiple fighter jet too fast". So why are they buying them in the first place.... MUMU. |

jakeporeshenko: I just watched the video as well, I cant believe these animals attacked the crash site. what i gather from it is that the Cameroonians actually got there first, you can see their Mi-17 responding first ( probably to medevac those involved in the NAF crash) at 26:38, then their MRAPS showed up at 27:09 then boko haram sent in the drone, thats when you can see our troops and the Cameroonins setting up defensive positions (digging trenches and all).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=36&v=aRfrLXPi8N8 I just finished watching the video. Can you imagine these barstards spying on ground troops not more than 50metres and also estimating the ground troop size and position. They would av called for reinforcement and flanked them from different directions. Honestly we really need the jf17. Now if we can't pick up such cheap fighter jet off the shelf ...? Then I wonder what type of 4th gen jet we are buying. |

Contrary information Nigerians and indeed the world has been fed with by the Federal Government and the military, Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, has refuted all claims by Nigerian military that he has been wounded or killed saying "I am alive and well." In two videos just released to SaharaReporters by Ahmad Salkida, a journalist that specializes in reporting conflict in Lake Chad region, Shekau, also said he is not done with waging war against the Nigerian government.
