If your dstv subsription is killing you,all you need do is to think outside the box:
1 free to air,it is the best alternative,just get a free to air decoder and a sat dish the bigger the better motorise it and watch live football matches,movies,cartoon,series etc.imagine if you have been saving 11k for the past 10yrs you would have beome a landlord in the suburbs.
2 Dongle:if you are a shock absober just get yourself Qsat and your life will not remain the same.

I thought it was only in my area in lagos that we are experiencing power failure until i travelled around the country and saw that it is all over the country. so i wonder what is the purpose of privatisation when there is no difference between nepa and the private company. the only thing they are good at is crazy bills. when are we going to get it right?

There is always something to watch on free to air,if you are paying more than #5000 for premium channels you are over paying. imagine saving #11000 every month for the past ten years you would have become a landlord in the suburbs.you see why the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.premium is just a status symbol.Africans must be free.we are encouraging more broadcasters to go FTA ,you can just make your money through adverts.

For those that are connected to dstv and subsription is eating deep into your pocket just switch over to free to air,all you need is a free to air decoder and you will save your self a lot of money from monthly subscription.

Switch over will start from june.you will need a satellite dish and a decoder,What i mean is you don't pay monthly subcription,once it is installed you watch free. free to air is the best way to go it saves you money.

reason why i opted for the portable battery is,i want something i can insert in the decoder but i found out that the battery is not strong enough.so i would be doing more research online for quality batteries,till then.

The next big thing that would happen to decoders is being able to recharge it. I experimented with my decoders at home but the battery only last for 15 mins. I used battery from my rechargeable radio to power eurostar,strong,qsat &bigbrother separately. I connected the wire from the rx to the head of the battery then switch on the rx, but it didn't last long as i expect.Experiment will continue soon.

you should have closed that thread since january not now.I will say it again qsat saved me money.like the owner of that thread used to say qsat is a blessing to africa.This is not 2006 this is 2014!!! Bend the rules.

For those that can't afford irib because of space you can still discuss qsat on facebook @satellite support group.Big brotther aka bondage decoder lost customer llike me that is why they are angry.

Nairaland is too small for qsat ideas so they have to take it to the boardroom upstairs.that machine is an eye opener you can't kill it.I laugh in chinese.

Thank you qsat for saving me #99,000,welcome esat to the war front.the fall of dstv is matter of time,the battle is on. to enjoy this machines without affecting your mb just use it as pay per view i.e you put in your modem when you want to watch your favourite prog like live match after that you switch to fta.i'm enjoying my machines!!!

You can use the sim card to browse the net,watch online tv, you tube,google map,listen to online radio etc depending on your network.qsat is 100% legal it is technology that want to leave dstv behind.fta rules,they can't kill qsat.

Qsat is not for the fainthearted,its for professionals and shock absorbers you need to explore that machine to get the best out of it.it is still the best fta so far. you can even use it as sat tracker to monitor your properties.

The fall of dstv is a matter of time,this monopoly must stop imagine only them all over Africa,the war is on.

Thank God for decoders like qsat,strong etc d*tv is bondage and it will remain so,most people don't know but we have to liberate them .what is still going for d*tv is where they are broadcasting from,assuming it's Nigeria PHCN would have dealt with them.d*tv is rip off and i think it's gameover for them. fta lives.

i think the south africans caused it all they should have let the chineese run their star times without bringing in gotv.if not for football what is d*tv.qsat is still the best.fta rules.
