wats ur tots on the high interest rates in microfinance banks, with some of them offering 17% pa for fixed deposits while u cant get 10% pa in any commercial bank. Is it rili safe putting lik 500k in fixed deposit in a microfinance bank.
Ideas on any other financial product dt can yield beta pa (lik 20% n above) is also welcomed.
Mod do well to put on fp, this ll help alot of ppl..

wben u have like btw#250k - #500k then its better to go into any bizness that can give u nothing less than 100% of ur initial capital like importation & don't 4get to look 4 what'll move fast in market like electronics gadgets/devices

Ajibel: Okay, yea they've got some good e-books. So when you're done installing, you are good to go. Python alreadi comes with an IDLE you can launch to start learning with so you don't need a 3rd party ide.
So don't rush things I know many who believe they can grasp everything in weeks buh its never so. Buh by dec, I think you should get to an amateurish level. GoodLuck

Ajibel: I believe it should. I use windows 7 and since .msi is windows and xp is a windows version, then it should. You could have rather tried downloading it instead to know if it would.

Then get two or more e-books to study or you can read the documentation (Python manuals) that came with python.

valenstical: I would advice Java then move your way to JavaFX and Android app development.
With Java and JavaFX you can build software for any organisation.
With JavaME and Android app development you can build mobile apps for java/symbian phones, blackberry 5/6 and android phones.
Later you can learn cross platform development and build for other platforms like iOS and windows and blackberry 10.

Javanian: Due to the numerous "i want to start programming, which language should i start with" threads on this board i decided to create a thread that will address this issue. I am not a wonderful writer and i won't say i know it all but i will try. I urge every one on this board to correct me where i err an also contribute in whatever way you can to make this thread worth it. I will try as much as possible not to be biased in this write up.
