The Bishop is absolutely in order. He was honest enough to admit he was not an expert in that financial sector but called for caution. i too have been calling for caution because with the way and speed sanusi is rushing to roll out these islamic and boko haram banks i am begining to wonder if its for economic or political reasons that these sharia banks are to be opened.

How can a man(GEJ) we just elected as president dabble into a pointless and endless debate that profits nothing and in the end he claims it wasn’t his idea…that it was an experiment started by Yar’ Adua. Oh, because Yar’ Adua is dead now and cant talk so he should take the blame. May God save us from drunken sailors like GEJ who are spineless, brainless, shameless, clueless and visionless!
And all these simply shows us that in 2015, GEJ would also claim that the idea that he will not contest was not his, that it was Reuben Abatis idea!, Oh wake up Nigerians, who will deliver us from this mess we are in!!!

If Jonathan can achieve a constitutional single term for the president and governors without it favoring him, then it is a great achievement. So far, he has made it clear that he is not running beyond 2015. Let's watch him closely.

Together with rotational presidency, single term presidency( of 6-7 years) is a good antidote for Nigeria's tribalism, nepotism, mediocrity, incompetency and do-or-die-fraught governance.

I hope u are not from the south east as your name says cos u would be an absolute disgrace to the region. its becos of sycophants and praise singers like u that GEJ missed his steps. Guys like u will see yellow but will sweet tongue the president that its green and not yellow. imagine what would have happened in imo state if a tyrant like Ohakim was allowed to rule for 6 or 7 years at a stretch, even if its a single term, ofcouse imo state would never have recovered from it in the next 15 years. This GEJ guy is a slowpoke, he hasnt even settled down to govern yet he is thinking of 2015 and beyond. How did this guy come into the scene in the first place? Oh God, please save us, save we Nigerians, we have a drunken sailor who is about to drown as a president. A visionless man chasing rats when the house is about to burn. Please delivers us oh Lord from the hands of this cowardly inexpirienced and timid human being. AMEN and AMEN!

Unfortunately for him, the only straw he can drown with is Rueben Agbati who has disgraced himself too defending the indefensible. So where do we go from here, Jonathan should concentrate on bills that will serve the masses well, bills on education, health care, road transport etc and it will be well with him if he does so. For the past 12 years(since 1999) he has been on the political scene, i cant think back and remember any single social or infrastrucural project associated with him. He enjoys power and fame just for the sake of it, and not to use it to help the people. Thats why i choose to call him GO-slow Ebele Jonathan!

I have been to several University campuses in Nigeia.i have seen the beautiful ones like O.A.U.,Unical,the new ESUST campus,Unimaid,FUT minna,UNAD,the vast ABU etc. Others like Unilag are ok but just too conjested make a befitting world class campus. However lastweek i visited Canaanand and for the first time saw Covenant University and must confess that was beauty,organisation,nature and panning,all fused into one.Iam suprised that a private university could look so good.I recommed the nollwood guys to coose that location for their films as my question is,does that school have the most beutiful and organised campus in Nigeria

What manner of poverty sticken folks do we have in Nigeria. For crying out loud whats wrong with private jets if they are needed for the gospel. Long ago men of God were moving on donkeys to preach, later coaches and trains, then cars, now aeroplanes cos d world is expanding. How do u connect a flight to papua new guinea if not through a chartered plane or boat. In d future, scientists may even start colonizing other planets or d moon and then the need for churches acquiring private space shuttle and rockets will definately arise. Lets not wallow in self pity and ignorance in nigeria. necessity is the mother of invention. no man buys 4 private jets for fancy or for fun, not even the richest man on earth. i believe there was a dire need for the jets hence they were bought by the Bishop, cos even parking and leaving it idle alone is money so it must have been bought for a purpose and iam sure if more is needed, they will be bought without much ado!
