Creating a State for SE should be based on connections and cultural affiliations, the Western Igbos, has that affiliation. After all, the coup organized together with others in 1966 was carried out by Western Igbos (Anioma sons) and they termed it Igbo coup! Now, they want to join their brothers in accepting it's an Igbo coup. First step is joining the SE. LadyExcellency: President Tinubu wants to selectively implement the 2014 Confab report hence the speculations and consultations.
The creation of an additional State for Southeast is the first consideration in the 2014 CONFAB report before adding other 18 States across each region. |

Local investment is at an all time low for the past 20 years in Lagos. They think the market won't reacts. Well, I'm glad Sawo Olu is already smelling the coffee! 69% of local investors, mainly of the Igbo speaking SE, are already thinking SE & SS to site their branches and holdings! MrEverest: Two critical events that happened in Lagos recently, in quick succession, is going to deal a devastating blow to an economy that is already facing a significant decline.
The first was the demolition of Landmark. A sort of aquatic fantasyland in Lagos that attracted lots of fun seekers. Unfortunately, the state government woke up one day and decided to destroy the assets estimated to be worth over $250 million dollars! However, the owner of Landmark did something remarkable. He didn’t take it calmly but rather fought back by giving it massive publicity. The news went viral both locally and internationally. It sent a red flag to other Nigerians and indeed the international community that Lagos is not a safe place to invest. When Lagos state government realized about the damaging publicity it generated, they tried to use some PR stunt to control it but it was too late.
The second is the shocking news of the kidnapping of the owner of LG brand representative in Nigeria, Fouani. He was kidnapped in Lagos and the kidnappers are demanding for $1.5 million dollars as ransom!!! To put this into proper contest, throughout the time kidnapping was taking place in Niger Delta, never for once did they kidnap such high profile personality. Same with Northern Nigeria. They only targeted or were only able to kidnap average local or foreign nationals who were unfortunate to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time. But to kidnap one of the richest foreign investors living in Nigeria, in broad day light, in Lagos
The worst is that all these are happening at a time when there is an unprecedented exodus of foreign and local investments from Lagos.
Would this be the beginning of the end of a city that once rivaled Nairobi, Cairo, Jo’burg as the prime destinations for investors in Africa |

Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 y it's gather all the Baterians and use them as illeya ram! No be be sacrifice Asiwaju dey find? Lol When it was time for sacrifice, Abraham used his son Isaac, but he reach Asiwaju turn, instead of using bros Seyi, he wants to use his followers, hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 no be juju be this? Fareke: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sunday said Nigeria needs sacrificing citizens to fulfil the dreams of its founding fathers.
The president stated this while addressing journalists after observing the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks, Lagos.
President Tinubu stressed the need for the people to follow the path of sacrifice to make the nation great.
According to him, citizens also needed to show more care for their neighbours and extend charity to all in the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir.
"Being a very good citizen comes with responsibility. As citizens, what do you do to be a very committed member of our society? Go and sacrifice. Love your country, love your neighbours, share what you have with one another and be thankful to Almighty God. That’s all,” said the president.
Earlier, while addressing the worshippers, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamza harped on perseverance and patience.
Hamzat enjoined the Muslim faithful to understand the reason for Eid, which he described as sacrifice and endurance.
"I urge you all to live in peace and harmony. Be patient and persevere in order to enjoy the good of the land.
"Also, let us be good Muslims and good citizens of Nigeria. This is what Almighty Allah expects of us”, he said.
Delivering the Eid-el-Kabir message, Chief Imam of Lagos, Sheikh Suleiman Abou-Nolla, who made reference to Chapter 3 Verse 102 of the Qur’an, said all believers should fear God as He should be feared.
Abou-Nolla said all the prophets of God sent to mankind with their messages from Adam to Noah, to Ibrahim, Isah and Muhammad (S.A.W.) came with the message of sacrifice.
He recalled that former Nigerian leaders from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, MKO Abiola, Madam Funmilayo Ransom-Kuti, and others, sacrificed their knowledge, wealth, sweat resulting in the growth and development of the country.
Shettima prays for bumper harvest
Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on Nigerians to pray for peace and hope for a bumper harvest to address the challenges facing the country.
He made this appeal yesterday after observing Eid-El-Kabir prayer at the Ramat Square in Maiduguri.
In his Sallah message, Shettima emphasized the critical link between peace and development.
“We urge Nigerians to pray for peace in the land and prosperity. This is agricultural season, and we pray and hope that we get a bumper harvest that would address some of the challenges we are facing,” he said.
Following the two Raka’at prayer, Imam Idaini of Borno, Mamman Shettima Saleh, delivered a sermon encouraging Muslim faithful to foster harmonious relationships and peaceful coexistence among different groups in the country.
Acting Borno State governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, in an interview with newsmen after the Eid-El-Kabir prayer, also called for support and prayers from all Nigerians. “Let’s pray for peace, social harmony, and development of our country,” Kadafur said.
Barau observes Eid prayers in Kabo
The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, yesterday, joined fellow Muslims in observing Eid prayers in his hometown of Kabo, Kano North Senatorial District.
Speaking to reporters after the prayer, he stressed the significance of connecting with his constituents—relatives, friends, and supporters.
He also used the opportunity to reiterate the federal government’s commitment to addressing current national challenges.
During the sermon after the prayers, Malam Ja’afaru Mustapha, the Chief Imam of Kabo, advocated tolerance and unity while encouraging prayers and support for leaders.
Buhari warns against unchecked population expansion
Former President Muhammadu Buhari has lamented the uncontrolled population growth in the country, saying the situation has become a matter for concern.
The immediate past president, however, said in spite of this particular challenge, he is pleased that more Nigerians have taken to the farm to grow more food so as to bring down the prices of the commodities in the country.
Speaking to journalists shortly after joining the Emir of Daura, Dr Faruk Umar Faruk to observe the Eid prayer, he said there was “need for greater discussion and awareness about this problem (uncontrolled population growth) as well as a need to invest more in education and health.
"Let us grow our own food. We have shown that we can do it. This is not the time to relent when we see prices going up. Let us buy what is produced in the country.
“The foundation of a prosperous and stable country has been laid by successive governments, and I encourage our youths, in particular, to continue to play an active role in various nation-building efforts,” he said.
Peace, crucial for Nigeria’s development – Abdulsalami
Also, former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, has underscored the critical role of peace in Nigeria’s development trajectory.
Speaking to journalists after performing the two Raka’at Eid-el-Kabir prayer in Minna, Niger State, General Abubakar urged Nigerians to prioritise prayers for peace across the country.
He was at the eid ground together with Senator Mohammed Sani Musa of Niger East Senatorial District, Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, and the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, among others.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, represented by SSG Usman, encouraged Muslims to maintain steadfastness in their faith and celebrate the festive season with love and harmony among all.
Sultan urges leaders to address hardship
The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar 111, has called on governments at all levels to do more to address the current hardship in the country.
In his Sallah sermon shortly after observing the two units Eid prayer at the Fakon Idi, the monarch said Nigeria was grappling with a lot of challenges, while its citizens were facing untold hardship.
According to him, a lot needed to be done to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.
He also called for concerted eefforts to address the current security challenges in the country, saying no meaningful development could be achieved without security.
“Leaders must be God-fearing and must work to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the governed,” he said.
He counselled Nigerians to be peace-loving and patriotic.
He further called on them to continue supporting and praying for the success of the leaders.

For one, guns are not liable for anything other than the people using it. Cultism is a a group peopled by humans, formed by humans, just like a terrorist group. Forming such group has no place amongst sane humans. That is why, the white haired cultist will continued to be ostracized by the Int'l Community leading Alfred Foundation. Have you wondered why the white haired cultist started rice hustle, instead of giving speeches, engagements etc? because, they have come to understand he's a little more than MC Oloumo in critical and logical reasoning! Your response is exactly why people say y'all deserve the bad leaders foisted on y'all! I know common critical reasoning is far from you as the West is to the East....but let me remind you again, it's a crime in Nigeria to form, organize, pioneer a secretive deadly cult, which the white haired cultist is known to have formed, together with others! I tell you, Nigerian leaders are lucky and that is why they have the audacity to treat y'all anyhow they chose because some useful, jobless bigot is never scarce to defend the trash and scum of nature. If it was to be in the West.....hahahahaha I trust one grieving mom to put some lead into his black skull, the werey look for what to form and give Nigerians na cult! Anyway, I hope one of yours don't be a victim to Soyinka pet project from Satan! Omoawoke: Enough of this dumb accusation, woke Soyinka is not responsible for adults taking wrong decisions. He didn’t program anybody to become a cultist. You just have to choose a reason to call a dog a bad name to hang it.

Then go after Ogun, the god of iron for discovering iron that was to make bullets, cutlass , spears and arrows.
Then go after the cave men that discovered fire!
Why don’t you go after the scientist that discovered Tramadol and codein that’s being used by the youth to drug themselves
Go after manufacturers of snipers, herbicides and other pesticides as this has been used to poison and commit suicide
You have no point Mr man! Zero point . Wole Soyinka is not responsible for adults making wrong decisions and becoming killers and cultists. Omoawoke: I see some people insult this man.
Some even cursed him to die a terrible death all because of politics.
Omoh, this is fvking insane
This is a 90 years old man… Many of the people cursing him and hating him have not even reached half his age. Many of you are less than 35, and cursing a 90 years old man to die a terrible death 😂. Cursing a man that’s probably 60 years older than you are to die a terrible death.
Another hilarious part is that this 90 years old man looks fresher and younger than many people in their 40s. If you see some Gen z in their 20s, they look like 40, and they are cursing a man that has enjoyed his full life cycle in international achievements, good health and prosperity.
Please before you curse and hate next time, sit down and reflect on your life that does it worth it? Why hate ? Why being bitter over things you cannot control?

Point one, IBB creation of Delta was understandable. The need for Anioma State that would be as far a Onicha ugbo.... Okpanam, close to Asaba would only go against the interest of two other stakeholders in Delta state, Ijaw & Others. As at then, onshore exploration is while low but people already know that Anioma has huge accumulated oil reserves. By that standards, creating a core Igboid state with full Oil Gas production capacity would certainly ignite the Biafra agitation too early. Don't forget, the key elements of 1960 - 1970 were mostly igbos f Western region! Senator Nwoko, have seen the future, even though he's an avowed Zikist One Nigeria Apostle. I actually like him. One key prediction which he may have seen is that Nigeria is probably heading to the state she was in 1960, four key regions; west, East, North & Midwest. And wisely chose to join the East. Konquest: The original Anioma State was NEVER supposed to be part of the South East. In fact there was an additional proposal to merge Anioma areas such as Onitsha on the other side of River Niger into the proposed Anioma State. It came to me and others as a shock that General Ibrahim Babangida couldn't create Anioma State at the time being that his late wife (Maryam) is originally from Asaba. He had all the powers to influence the Anioma State creation. All that opportunity is wasted now.
Last but not least, to correct you, it is even angry folks from some major Anioma communties online and offline that are vehemently against the alleged FB post of Ned Nwoko suggesting a merging of Anioma to the South East.
Anioma State was NEVER meant to be in the South East but the South of South region. This is the reason why the secessionists could not dare to excise the different Anioma towns into the rebel enclave on the other side of River Niger. These facts of history have to be CLEARLY stated and understood. |

Nigerians are the best people on earth, Nigeria is bless with a dream unlike other countries, most especially African one but Nigerian leaders are an accursed, incompetent lowlifes fueled on by their usual jobless praise singers online and offline.
Let me explain using one scenario, Rwanda not Sweden where I also live and work!
1. Rwandan economy, people and the government. Rwanda has some of the most laidback people on earth, unambitious, bakwomi type of individuals who love soft life sleeping and money to a fault. They are typically good at just one damn thing: Looking good all the time, even though they gat nothing in their pokects! Rwandan economy is resilient and formidable to the point that inflation is kept at bay! The Rwandan govt is one of the finest in Africa (even though, some say their leader is a sit tight, not cool with opposition leader etc). The govt has done so much to establish protocols, procedures and accountability within it's civil service to the point that even if a corrupt person wants to sabotage the system, it won't work because all payments to the Govt is received via an online Central processing payment! However, the irony of it all is that while the standards has been built and working well, the people, the people are not actually interested in becoming ambitious!
Compared to Nigeria where the Govt is an ozorr, clowns who believe Nigeria is actually rich, while she's wallowing in debts from needless, White elephant project with no consequential value to the economy. Nigerians are hard working, ambitious people from all tribes but are collectively face off with ediots leading them!
This idiocy has been elevated to new records in recent months by that one called patch patch CBN govnor. How can a Central Bank governor claim a business man, running an online platform has the power to undermine it's FX rates? That guy there must be so dumb! Long story short. FIRS has withdrew it's allegations against binance. And guess what? Once that nigga gets out, he will sue the fvck out of Nigeria. Infact, Nigeria will be his retirement insurance to a long old years of soft life! Once he gets judge that would hear his application, Nigeria will pay through their anus! You can be foolish only in your bedroom or with your countrymen. Let me advice Ribadu, whatever arrangements you are making with the held binance guy, make sure it includes not suing Nigeria in the future for been unjustly held in a flea infested facility!
Now, since Asiwaju came in, its been one act of kick and start to another. No proper evaluation of policies become trying to implementation etc leading to National and int'l embarrassment!
Asiwaju and his cohorts in Govt were screaming of how Binance was running foul of the law in Nigeria because Binance CEO was been accused in USA. For you to be accused in USA, it means at least three sister Agencies have each conducted their investigations and actually found you wanting! They simply don't act foolish by arresting you first before depending on luck, Allah or grace to come up with evidence! They simply wait the damn time out, and gather the damn evidences because, one foolish act from Govt Angencies is reason enough to claim huge compensation from the Govt, and guess what? You motherfvcker that lmade such error of judgement would loss your pension! So far in Nigeria, no Govt agent has ever lost their salary due to foolish, incompetent and negligible acts!
Now that FBI chief has visited, a mere agency head. Like he could be fired the next minute, Asiwaju convened a full security meeting for such a low class US official. FBI is more or less like Efcc chair., but actively involved in crimes that transcends two American states.
Could it be more to do about Asiwaju dossier on drug dealing?
However, for the e-rats who think less than a domestic cat, Binance has nothing to do with FX rises, but more to do with money laundering which, if Asiwaju is serious, has just one thing to do: Get a court judgement for Full Disclosure, employ experts to sieve through millions of data and he will get the information he desire but I'd bet some damn hair in my ass that Asiwaju name and his chronies would make the top five binance clients for money laundering, at least prior to 2023 elections.
By employing experts, I don't meant people like patch patch Cardoso, or employment o paddy paddy!
For now, it's wotowoto to Asiwaju and his damned e-rats!
