It is unseriousness. If you know Bayelsa alone, you will never call painting one building in lp colours and calling it secretariat few days to election is an effort.
It took APC years to even gain ground in Bayelsa after getting Sylvia. You need structures in Bayelsa because most of the villages are on water and the only parties that can afford agents everywhere in Bayelsa are APC and PDP.

The varsities should be able to fund itselves from the money generated after befitting facilities might have been built and handed over to them.

The moment we realize that university education isn't cheap,the better for us.....university education isn't compulsory and shouldn't be for everyone.

Somebody goes to university almost free for 4 years to study accounting and after graduation ends up emigrating out of the country or even ends up being a fashion designer or comedian.....that is a total waste of government resources,same person will come out after being trained by same govt and ask government to be providing jobs for him.

But Tinubu stemed the tide and reversed the downward slide through well articulated policies and planning.......he left Lagos far better than he met it and was able to establish a very efficient socio poitical structure that has kept the state making great strides.

Nobody has ever said Lagos State provision or Anambra State provision for ex governors is unique. The bill we discuss here is common in Nigerian States and different States signed the bill at different times. It is silly to condemn Obi just because he signed the bill. Doesn't the Tinubu you mention collect the pension now?

Where is your proof that Tinubu collections pension from the state?even if he or obi does there is absolutely nothing wrong cause its their right.
Rather its obidients that have made an issue out of this that Tinubu is doing something wrong by collecting benefits from Lagos,which they aren't even sure whether he does or not as against the reality on ground that most states actually have same laws.

I will be frank with you that all 3 presidential candidates are same on ideology of free market economy and approach to solving myriad of nigeria's problems but i would rather go with Tinubu which I have seen his antecedents as against obi or atiku.....you are free to promote your candidate as well but my message to obidients is that we should be objective when criticizing and put sentiments aside.

Buhari and Tinubu though both are from same party are 2 different people with different styles and approach to national issues.

Buhari is more of a conservative who doesnt believe so much in creating wealth but managibg what we already have,this you can see in mist of his policies thereby making govt have more control in the econony what you can call a pseudo welfarist state.

Tinubu on the other hand is a free market advocate who would rather see more effort put into making enabling environment for private enterprise to thrive....like he has done in Lagos.

A Tinubu govt will bring the much needed boost to the nigeriann economy thereby opening up various seconds for private capital....he is a capitalist that would let people thrive based on their abilities.

Your logic is so childish and weak. Many States adopted the bill before and after 2009. This means it is a normal practice in every State in Nigeria. Obi signed it because it is the normal thing in Nigeria. He then rejected the entitlement to show he is personally against the bill. Obi signed the bill because the stake holders and the State house of assembly wanted it. Only a tyrant will refuse to sign the bill.

A governor is not the one who proposes a bill in a State. A governor only signs a bill when majority in the State house of assembly approves the bill. A selfish governor can bribe some house of assembly members to propose a bill that will in turn serve the governor's personal interest. But in this case, Obi rejected those things. Had it been he accepted those entitlements, it will be believed he lured the house into passing the bill.

But you peoples narrative before now was like it was only peculiar to tinubu lagos and Anambra had non of such,but here it is that your saint obi was even the one that signed it into law for his state while this same tinubu you are insulting never had such laws through the entirety of his 8 yrs.
