Yes sir. All things being equal. A car could have a lower miles and very bad maintenance history. So this milleage issue is neither here nor there. Each car should be examined based on it's own merit

A friend bought a 2009 Camry @ 163k mileage and the car is very good except for some minor repairs and facelift.

Yeah. Still a very good milleage for a Corolla. Some Corollas run above 250k miles and are still sold at US auction site. With that milleage the car is just like 4 years used

Well it depends on maintenance tho.
