Their reason was that the US said they should provide equipments which were in the war front with Boko Haram and that involves moving those equipments from the NE. They rejected the offer coz same equipment were needed in the fight against the Boko Haram.

I think you're getting it twisted,Ambode was a permanent secretary,already at the peak of his career,when he was drafted to become accountant-general;so do you want to tell me that a man whose stellar qualities and administrative brilliance had been shining for so long that it was now noticed by the state chief excutive officer at the time,who now appointed him to tinker with the way Lagos does financial business and generates IGR,that such a man so passionate about Lagos should have turned down the offer and deny Lagos the opportunity to withness this great transformation we've seen over the years huh

I agree with you as well,in all passages of the Bible where God revealed prophecies through His prophets,they were clear and unambiguous and the prophets told the people exactly what needed to be done to avert any impending doom,but alas it's not so with our political and commercial "prophets" in Nigeria

By the time the new LCDAs were created and the evil OBJ subsequently withheld Lagos council funds,Lagos IGR was in the region of some hundreds of million naira per month,but Ambode re-engineered the revenue drive and the IGR then withnessed an unprecendented and sustained rise 5 billion naira per month,this has been sustained and now the monthly IGR is over 25 billion naira per month.We need such a man that is a proven reformer that has loads of experience and Lagos is in for unprecedented development that will eclipse what Fashola did.

I have said it before and I will say it again,Jimi Agbaje is toooo desperate to become governor of Lagos state that in the past 8 years he has done some very desperate suspicious things.He is more like a desperate political prosti2t,why is he jumping from pillar to post just to become governor,if he is as good and acceptable as some of you have been making him out to be,then he doesn't need to jump under the UMBLELLA(sorry mama peace),he should trust himself well enough to run on the platform of his former party or even as an independent candidate(even if dat one never start for naija,I had to mention it cos you guys talk about him like he can win an election even without a political party)
So I ask,please duni04 and co,be kind enough to tell us where and where this Agbaje of a man has worked and the things he did there that make you think he is the best candidate for Lagos governor as I personally don't think that running an obscure chemist somewhere in the remotest part of Apapa is enough to put him on this high pedestal you want to force him on.
