i dont get that |
Dear Nairalander, i greet you all. I am calling on all PDP members on this forum to tell us exactly why the PDP is scared of the INEC's card reader. WHY IS PDP SCARED OF INEC’S CARD READER? Some while ago, the State Security Service (SSS) invaded an APC office in Lagos in which they arrested workers in the office and confiscated all gadgets belonging to the opposition party. After several weeks of public outcry and protest, SSS came up with a questionable position, claiming that the APC are planning to hack into INEC’s database to clone the Permanent Votes Card (PVC). Though, they fail to back up their claim with any verifiable evidence. However, when that position was made by the SSS, the national headquaters of the PDP raised all sort of disjointed and baseless conspiracy theories, accusing the opposition party of some sinister motives. Despite INEC’s explanation that no one can hack into its server, the presidency continue to make all sort of noise and propaganda. When INEC notify the public about card reader, I believe those that should first embrace the idea and celebrate is the PDP, considering the fact they are the one’s claiming APC wanted to hack into INEC’s server to use fake pvc. I believe the card reader should put PDP’s mind at rest, but it is surprising that the same PDP are those against this noble idea. What else should re-assure the public that no any party or group can successfully hack INEC’s server? What else should re-assure PDP that even if any group hack into INEC’s server, they can’t clone the PVC successfully? Again, even if any group or party cloned the PVC successfully, what else can re-assure the public that even with a cloned PVC, no fake PVC can escape the INEC’s card reader? For PDP to stand against card reader which would check any fake pvc on election day, I have no doubt whatsoever that, it is the PDP that has questionable intent at the poll. If the only thing that can prevent the usage of fake PVC is the card reader, why is PDP which claim to be scared of the opposition using fake PVC be scared of card reader? I just don’t understand how the PDP is reasoning. The same PDP claimed APC wanted to clone PVC and use fake voters card during the election. Then, INEC introduced a measure to check any fake PVC. Why is the same PDP against card reader which would prevent fake PVC to be used? Can PDP tell us what we don’t know? With what we are seeing now, does that mean PDP is not sincere when they claimed APC planned to use fake PVC on election day? Does that mean PDP is not sincere when they claim APC wanted to hack into INEC’s server? WHY IS PDP SCARED OF THE CARD READER? |

If you are a Christian and your only reason to support Jonathan is because he is a Christian then get this straight into your skull. You're an incurable slowpoke. |
If you are voting for any candidate because of his or her religion, you are the greatest fool. |

LETTER TO PATIENCE JONATHAN BY ALMAJIRI Dear Madam Fisrt Lady, I LACK THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR GOOD LUCK! I am almajiri because, I am from the North and one of the products of the Polygamous family, if you "hate" me, you don't have to wait to a moment that your husband needs my vote before you come with your pretense. I knew long ago that the killings in my region was allowed to be because, you don't like my face. So, hold it, you don't have to tell anyone to "stone" me because of my political party affiliation, you can use the soldiers to continue to kill me when they come to polling units, on the basis that "Nigeria's economy is in your pocket". You are intoxicated not for the amount of beer your husband drink but, for the power that you are enjoying. Painfully, for all your utterances recently, you have killed your husband politically. Yours, Almajiri (#myvotemyright) |

GEJ 2015: BLESSING OR CURSE? Yoruba Oba's don't bless someone by pointing their staff at the person. When a staff of an Oba is pointed at someone, that is a curse. THIS IS HOW YORUBA OBA'S BLESS..SPOT THE DIFFERENCE. SO, IT IS RIGHT TO SAY OBA'S HAVE CURSED GEJ?

WHY YORUBA WILL NEVER SUPPORT GOODLUCK JONATHAN IN 2015 You will agree with me that Yoruba's are the most detribalized Nigerians. When it comes to standing against wrong practices and condemning bad things happening in our society, Yoruba's are usually in the fore front. If you are competent and just, Yoruba's would support you at all cost, but if you are not, they would reject you. It doesn't matter if you are from their tribe or not. They support truth and human rights for all. During Obasanjo's era, those who constitute major opposition against some policies and actions perceived to be unjust are the Yorubas. Yoruba's did say Obasanjo his our son, so we must support him, no, they are mostly against him, making sure he does the right thing. Notable among them include, Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Prof Wole Soyinka, Barrister Femi Falana, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Yinka Odumakin among others. Even popular Fuji Musicians like King Saheed Osupa, K1, Muri thunder and others sang severally tracks to advise and some times condemn the perceived wrong practices by the then president. It is in Yoruba's nature to support you when you act right and condemn you the next moment you act wrongly. This is the spirit of development. Again, when the so called cabal were trying to prevent president Goodluck Jonathan from assuming the leadership of this country, those who lead the way were the Yoruba's. We all remember the Pastor Tunde Bakare led Save Nigeria Group. These selfless Nigerians slept on bare floor at the National Assembly for days protesting and fighting for truth and justice. I was right there with them. At the end, Justice prevail and truth won over falsehood. Now, its 2015 election and the unjust, incompetent and oppressor is president Goodluck Jonathan. The entire nation is against him for what has been described as clueless government. A govt in which the leader is insincere, confused, incompetent and selfishly greedy. Apart from the fact that GEJ has greatly marginalized the Yoruba's which is not a problem by itself if he had perform well, his clueless and poor performance has clearly seen by all well meaning Nigerian is what is generally unacceptable for all Nigerians (Yoruba inclusive)and for this reason, i believe no sane Yoruba son and daughter would ever vote for GEJ in 2015. Yoruba's are known for fairness, competence and capability. They will never support incompetence, cluelessness and incapability. Despite being marginalized in GEJ's 6years govt, where no one single Yoruba person occupy any reasonable position,Yoruba's never make such marginalization an issue. Yoruba believe in good governance not tribal or religious representation. But despite such marginalization by this govt, the Yoruba's and the entire nation had seen that GEJ's govt doesn't mean well for this country and it has failed beyond redemption. Therefore, it must be sent packing come March 28, 2015. For the records 1. President- not a Yoruba 2. V-President- not a Yoruba 3. Sen. President- not a Yoruba 4. Speaker HR - not a Yoruba 5. Chief J - not a Yoruba 6. Pres. C Appeal - not a Yoruba 7. Sec Fed Govt. - not a Yoruba 8. Chief of Joint staff- not a Yoruba 9. CBN Gov - not a Yoruba 10. Min.of Fin - not a Yoruba 11. Attorneys-G - not a Yoruba 12. Defense Min - not a Yoruba 13. Petroleum Min - not a Yoruba 14. Chairman Port A - not a Yoruba 15. GMD NNPC- not a Yoruba 16. IG-Police - not a Yoruba 17. PDP chairman- not a Yoruba 18. GEJ campiagn DG- not a Yoruba 19. GEJ failed Yoruba and the entire nation in terms of leadership 20. No amount of endorsement from those who shared in GEJ's dollar bribe can make him have above 10% votes among Yoruba's. |

I agree with this statement. Do you?

i know that.. Just saying for the records |
I know Nigerians have resolved to vote out President Goodluck Jonathan next month. The anger the face of most Nigerians is not hidden. However, for any reason what so ever, if Nigerians re-elect Goodluck Jonathan, that mean Nigerians are the clueless ones. |

Olanike Adexa At the conference today, I asked a question on why many UK universities have partnerships with Middle Eastern and South Asian countries but not African universities even though we have over 100,000 African students every year in the UK. As the only black African in the hall, it seemed as though I jacked everyone out of slumber as the second half of the event significantly addressed developing higher education and partnerships in Africa. It was almost like African countries are not part of the advancement agendas up until that point. Within minutes, everyone paid Ola attention, from the president of the Association of Commonwealth Universities to the chair Rt Hon Charles Clarke, a former UK higher education minister to the academics and more importantly, they knew that Africa should not just be a cash cow but a land of great potentials and investments. Needless to say, a few university officials spoke to me of an interest in exploring the African countries for partner campuses. I just imagine if no black African was at the event or refused to speak up. From today's conference, a communique and report, focusing on partnerships in African higher education citadels will be going to the Commonwealth office and Sec-General's office. The UK government office for foreign affairs will be involved too. This shows that Africans need to be present at round table conferences and debates when the rest of the world converges. To say that I was surprised at the way my simple comment shifted the conversations is an understatement. Our show of faces should not only be at "Owambe" sprees and "what-is-in-it-for-me" fora. We should invest in attending events, even by dipping hands into our pockets for the future of Africa does not lie in the hands of the west but ably in our hands and mouths. |
