PoliticsSee How Sambo Dasuki Took His Own Share Out Of The $5 Billion Defense Budget by bilms(op): 7:47pm On Feb 11, 2015
SEE HOW SAMBO DASUKI TOOK HIS OWN SHARE OUT OF THE $5 BILLION DEFENSE BUDGET WITHIN THE PAST YEARS OF FIGHT AGAINST BOKO HARAM.

There is a massive billion dollars corruption on defense contracts perpetuated by Sambo Dasuki under the guise of purchasing military equipment for the armed forces.

1. He purchased a refurbished MI Helicopters as new for the Nigerian Airforce from Belarus at the cost of $84 million per one which the market value is $15 million two have already crashed and killed the pilots.

2. He purchased a substandard UAV (Drones) from China at an exhorbitant price of $260 million as against a brand new UAV which was offered to Nigeria by Elbit Systems of Israel who are the pioneers and leading UAV Manufacturers in the world at a lower cost of $16.5 million per one and the Chinese UAV crashed on its maiden flight at Mafa village in Borno State.

3. He purchased and install a Command and Control Centre in his office from an Israeli company called NICE at an exhorbitant price of $80 million which the market value is put at $15 million. His office is not an Operational Agency by law as it serves only as an advisory role to the Presidency on security and intelligence matters so he doesn't need a Command and Control Centre and since its installation it has never worked.

4. He has done a deal with the Tchadian and Nigerien Governments to pay them cash to fight the Boko Haram on behalf of Nigeria which he collected huge amount of money and pay them peanuts.

5. The South African money for arms scandal

These are the main reasons why Sambo Dasuki is scared stiff of Buhari's Presidency and was also forced to play the psychopantic role he is playing now to save himself from sack by the GEJ government because of the serious embarrassment they faced within the international community because of the Defense contract scandal which made GEJ to start thinking of dropping him and use him as a scapegoat in their camatose fight against corruption to win sympathy from Nigerians and International Community.

PoliticsJonathan Is The 4th Longest Serving President In Nigeria by bilms(op): 1:14am On Feb 10, 2015
JONATHAN FAILED DESPITE BEING 4TH LONGEST SERVING PRESIDENT IN NIGERIA
Goodluck Jonathan is one of the longest serving presidents in Nigeria.
Out of the 14 presidents or head of states that had ruled Nigeria, Jonathan is the 4th longest serving president. He has ruled for about 5 years, 3 months with absolutely nothing to show except ‘’I will do this, I will do that’’ even after 5 years as president. In 2012 when he removed fuel subsidy, Jonathan said he would build refinery with the money, but today, there is no any refinery, yet the money is no where to be found.
Oga Jona, where is the refinery you promised to build with our fuel subsidy money?
Then again, some so called elites would open their stinking mouth to say, he has only ruled for a short period. Thunder go fire that mouth. Lol..Just kidding
The truth is, I get angry when ever I read anyone saying Jonathan has ruled for a short period, I feel like giving such a person a dirty slap for being a member of the almajiri school of thought. lol
Please, can you explain what you mean by Jonathan ruling for a short period? Only 3 former presidents had rule more than Jonathan In terms of years, how is that a short period?
Abeg oo, it seems I went to almajiri school. If not, I wouldn’t have had any problem understanding that our president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan despite being the 4th longest serving president had only ruled for a very short period. Just 5 years, 3 months.
The same Jonathan said, If he couldn’t do what he wanted to do in 4 years, even if he had 100years, he wouldn’t be able to do them. So tell me, what would Jonathan achieve in the next 4years when he couldn’t achieve anything in the past 6 years?
Murtala Muhammed ruled for 6 months only, but Nigeria never forgot his good work. In fact, he his being mentioned as Nigeria’s best leader. Buhari ruled for 1 year, 8 months, the world still give reference to the positive impact of his government. The number of years or months they served didn’t stop them from making their mark in governance, but the man who is the 4th longest serving is now referred to as being there for a short period because he has failed woefully and to defend his failure, they say, he has only served for a short period.
Apart from Obasanjo, Yakubu Gowon and IBB, no other presidents had spent more time than Goodluck Jonathan, but so far, Oga Jonathan has not even achieved one quarter of what any of the 3 mentioned above achieved, despite having much more resources. Even though the government of the 3 most serving presidents had some negative aspects, we can still see the impact of their government in many ways, while also condemning the negative sides.
But for Oga Jona, its started from being poor, it became bad and then get worse.
At the moment, the government of this Otuoke man has completely destroyed Nigeria’s economy beyond redemption, foolishly devalued Nigeria’s currency beyond imagination and sinking the nation deeper into the pit of corruption like never before. in his own words, ‘’stealing is not corruption’’.
They say our naira devalue because of the fallen oil price, oya ask them, did our naira appreciated when the oil price boom? Why will naira devalue when oil fall?

Why Sambo Dasuki Will Never Allow Buhari to Rule Nigeria

In August 1985, the evening of the 26th to be specific, at a time when Nigerians were celebrating the Muslim festival and enjoying the public holiday, a soldier named Major-General Badamasi Babangida (a.k.a IBB) was executing his plans of overthrowing the Nigerian Head of State, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari.

One of the soldiers who arrested Buhari at gunpoint was a soldier named Major SAMBO DASUKI!

After Buhari was arrested and his government toppled, IBB threw him into prison and handsomely rewarded Dasuki by making him his ADC (aide-de-camp) and had his father fraudulently made the Sultan of Sokoto.

Sambo Dasuki was one of the four Nigerian army Majors that arrested Buhari at gunpoint that day.

Others were Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu (I have written on him before).

Buhari was left to rot in jail for two years and this wrecked his family life so bad that it led to a divorce with Safinatu, his beloved wife upon his release.

While Buhari was also in jail, Babangida sent soldiers to ransack and vandalize his residence, in the process destroying some of Buhari's most valuable credentials including Original Educational Certificates and valuables.

Let me skip what happened to Sambo Dasuki and his father the former Sultan of Sokoto under General Abacha till today.

He has been appointed as the National Security Adviser to President Jonathan and you really think Sambo Dasuki will want the elections to go on and Buhari become the President of Nigeria?

The same Dasuki wrote letter to INEC claiming Nigerian security can't provide security for election, citing boko haram as excuse.
Think again, what is going-on has nothing to do with PVCs or bla bla bla. It is all about the interests of a few people strangling the country.

I think all Nigerians should remain calm and read more and see how the game is played with the destinies of the almost 200 million of us.

When you arrive buy generator because you did
not fix power.

Buy boat because they still dont have roads.

You can't do fishing business because they are still
under the oil spill carnage.

You can come to Lagos to buy food because the
farmlands in Rivers and Bayelsa are destroyed by
uncleaned oil spills over the years.

If you want to go to Onitsha you will suffer traffic
hold-up on the old Niger bridge because the new
one you promised did not get of the drawing
paper.

Going to the north? You cant try it because of the
Boko-Haram insecurity you could not quell.

That international business u want to do at
retirement, you will do so at bitter huge cost cos
you will spend over N200 to buy a dollar. You
could only make d Naira depreciate rather than
appreciate.

As you go home you will have distrust and
disrespect for the Nigerian system, because you
know how corrupt you left it.

Thank you for increasing tarriff on imported cars
to 70%, Nigeria now have hope of gold medal at
Olympics trekking marathon. We dont produce
automobile in real sense. New cars still cost an
arm and a leg. And banks don't give credit.

The Ibori that your government could not find to
prosecute for money laundering. British
government did that job for you, he is serving
13 years in British jail now.

Its your idea that governments do better in second
term. No problem but for us its only a government
that deliver in first term that we can give a
second term. You can ask Obasanjo.

When you get to Otuoke, you can call Obasanjo
and blame him for not supporting you, but
remember he gave you the GSM you will use to
make the call.

Thank you Mr. President but some of us have
decided to try somebody else rather than be on
stand-still for another four years.

In the beginning of the world, there was peace, but when human erred, there was conflict. History tell us that, conflict is inevitable in human existence.

Conflict could be personal, group or national. It could also be political, religious or economic. However, irrespective of the causes of conflict, we must always strive to prevent conflicts from becoming negative.

Follow @SkytrendNews On Twitter

Before the establishment of United Nations in 1945, there was no universal human rights and as such, there was massive conflicts across the globe. At that time, might is by law right, as rich people are allowed to be purchasing fellow humans as properties. powerful individuals are capturing the weak and selling them as slaves. And also, strong nations are invading other territories, annexing, enslaving and colonizing the people.

As a result of the above mentioned inhuman practices which dominated the world all over, powerful nations make gains, rich people dehumanize the poor, strong oppress the weak and the world was engulf in conflict and struggle for survival. Nations were struggling for independence, individuals for liberty and human dignity and races for equality and self worth. It seems after all, there was no end insight to the numerous bloodshed, pain and agony around the world. The world was plunged deep into hatred and war until the second world war which caused massive human and capital destruction far beyond what was ever witnessed in human history.

More than ever, the world came to the realization that, there is no alternative to peace. Hence, the birth of the United Nations.

The United Nations Organisation, coming on the failure of the League of Nations is committed to maintaining international peace and security. The world powers realize that, without peace, life cannot be worth living and to take a step towards achieving peace, a universal human rights was given birth to and it contain certain rights and privileges that should be enjoyed by every human irrespective of their location, race, color or religion.

Since the establishment of the United Nations, It is worth to note that, while global war in form of direct state confrontation had drastically reduced as a result of the efforts of the world body, new internal conflicts in form of tribal, religious and political conflicts have taken over the global scene, posing as much if not more danger than the second world war. For example, the boko haram insurgency in Nigeria has claimed over 13,000 lives. Also, the upcoming 2015 election has attracted some verbal threat of war and confrontation between some of the major political parties and their supporters.

Let it be noted that, war doesn’t just occur out of the blues. War happen after crisis have been sustained. But crisis don’t just happen, it occur as a result of either personal or group conflict.

This brings to the question, what is conflict?

By definition, the word ‘conflict’ is a concept synonymous with human behaviors. Since man can not exist in isolation, then in the course of interactions with other members of the community, there will be disagreements, intrigues and misunderstanding. The reasons for the conflict may be as a result of cheating or struggle for a beneficial goal. However, irrespective of what led to conflict, if such conflict is not properly resolved, it could metamorphosed into hatred, which makes crisis prone in the society.

According to the Chinese, Conflict is defined as an opportunity plus danger.

Conflict is an opportunity in the sense that, if conflict is managed properly by the conflicting parties, it could become a source of growth, development and transformation. This is why a Yoruba adage says,’’ti aba ja, aki re’’, meaning that, ‘’if we do not quarrel, our friendship may not be strengthened’’.

Therefore, if we are looking for a more closely relationship with people, conflict is inevitable. Just as if we are looking for growth and development in the society, conflict is inevitable. We must therefore work to always ensure that should conflict occur between us, we must never allow it to be negative. Conflict can be positive and beneficial depending on how we handle it.

On the other hand, conflict could be dangerous. The danger in conflict may arise as a result of improper management of personal or group misunderstanding.

However, every individual needs peace, even the most violent people among us need peace. It would interest you to know that, the violent people are violent because they believe through violence, they can attain peace. In their mind, violence is a way to peace. This believe can be seen in the ancient Greek proverb which states that, ‘’if you want peace, prepare for war’’. But unknown to them, a violent situation can only begot more violence. Violence is a situation of error. If one error is not corrected, it leads to more errors. Therefore, we must show the world that violence can never lead to peace. if you want peace, you must give peace.

Peace is not what any individual, organization or government can give the people, peace can only be attained through the attitude of every individual.

It is important for us to examine that personal attitudes, values, and knowledge provide the basis for working toward peace. While almost all of us want peace and prefer to live and work in an environment that is peaceful, few of us have bothered to identify the elements that foster peaceful living. We have seldom given thought to what types of beliefs, traditions, attitudes, and values lead to peaceful coexistence and social harmony. We have also not devoted quality time to ruminate on whether it is possible to have global peace if we do not personally have peace in our lives as individuals. While on the one hand, peace is an end to be sought, it is also a condition of many achievements. In a nutshell, for us to live a fulfilled life, there is no alternative to peace.

Often times, Government, military and police usually parade themselves as peace keepers, but such notion is not entirely true.

Government, military and Police can only ensure security, they can not guarantee peace. Peace is beyond the capacity of any security agency or government, security is not peace, peace is a personal attitude.

The best a government can do to ensure a peaceful society is to invest in massive peace education. Peace cannot be enforced, it can only be developed by education and constant deliberate entanglements and sensitization. Through peace education, individuals would understand the dynamics of social conflicts, warfare, conflicts resolution and peace.

Security is a situation when individuals, groups or a country is protected from violent attack in whatever form. It is a situation where individuals can go about their daily lives without fear of being attacked. It could also be described as tranquility pertaining to an individual’s sense of himself or herself, as being “at peace” with one’s own mind. But peace is beyond security. Peace is first of all an internal affair, it is a situation where every individual live in peace within themselves.

According to some scholars, peace is “what we have when creative conflict transformation takes place non-violently”. In the case of the United State’s Department of Justice, peace is: “ a process of responding to diversity and conflict with tolerance, imagination, and flexibility; fully exercising one’s responsibilities to ensure that all fully enjoy human rights” (1996: D-2)

During the Cold War, big powers claimed they were trying to secure the peace in the world by stockpiling sophisticated weapons. What this means is that, they need to pile up weapons that will be used in destroying others who threaten their interests. (Faleti, 2010). How such an attitude can be called ‘peace’ is not easy to understand but it probably followed the ancient Roman proverb that says “If you want peace, prepare for war”, but peace is something far more positive. It has been described as the tranquility of order. If well understood, the phrase contains a great piece of wisdom that lawlessness and disorder destroy external peace and bring about disturbance of minds and hearts and leads to the loss of tranquility. We thus see tranquility of order bringing about a certain tranquility of mind and heart. (Faleti, 2010).

As the 2015 election approaches, let us serve as the agent of peace and be against violence. We should educate the public that Irrespective of who emerges in the 2015 election as a result of peoples choice, only in a peaceful environment can we enjoy the dividend of democracy. Therefore, we should spread the messages of peace across Nigeria and not the threat of war.

In the preamble of the constitution of the UNESCO, it is written that “Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defenses of peace must be constructed; that ignorance of each others ways and lives has been common cause, throughout the history of mankind, of that suspicion and mistrust between the people of the world through which their differences have all too often broken into war.

On this note, I appeal to all those threatening war should a candidate loss the election to desist from such threats. There can only be war if we allow such an unholy thought cross our mind, we must not allow it prosper. Lets give peace a chance because in war, both the victor and vanquish are losers. We should all remember, there is no alternative to peace.

If we insist on war, its more like insisting on losing because in war, no body wins. So,why insist on losing when we could all win?

As we awaits the emergence of a winner in the forthcoming general election, let us all rally round who ever emerges from a transparent election and ensure that such individual deliver on their electoral promises.

DO WE STILL HAVE SOME COMMUNITIES IN IGBO LAND STILL EATS HUMANS?
Few days ago, i wrote this on my facebook page''Is it true, that even till date, there are towns in Igbo land that eat humans? What i heard now is scary o.''

Some people were abusing me for posting something like this. But i made it clear that i need to be educated not castigated.

In the course of the discuss, one Isiaka Olatunji wrote, it is right ....Isialanguha people still eat human been till today most especially strangers...I lived there for 4 years....

Another poster Abiola Shiru wrote, Hmmmm even in NYSC, dey made us to knw dat we should be very careful' I served in Abia state, in Akoli imenyi after uzuakoli...Abiola Shiru also added that,'' Even d NYSC Director Mrs Bose okaku, warned most of corp members that normally come's late to be very careful...

But just this morning, an Igb lady, Chinenye Nwadike wrote, ''Abdulrazaq O Hamzat,it's not Isialanguha,it's Isiala Ngwa and yes,its true but people from that area always argue it. My hubby has been there once and confirmed the story. You fall into their trap when you don't know your way around and ask questions. The day my hubby went there,it was an old man that saved him after he mentioned his bro-in-law's name who is a son of the soil...this is not about insulting a tribe,it's the truth...recently a friend told me he was there to visit a friend and it happened to be during their festival,so he joined in the celebrations and there was plenty meat to eat. He said he had finished eating when his friend told him he just ate human meat. He also said it's an annual festival, when I doubted him,he called that his friend and put it on voice out, that's how I confirmed the info.

can any igbo person with vast understanding about the issue shed more light of it?

Thanks. Mr.Rights
PoliticsCan GEJ Defeat Boko Haram? by bilms(op): 11:45am On Jan 29, 2015
Can GEJ Defeat Boko Haram?

1) 200 Chibok girls missing for 290 days, kidnapped by Boko Haram and GEJ has done nothing? When will GEJ ‪#‎BringBackOurGirls‬? Thousands other women and children have been abducted? When will GEJ as Commander-in-Chief bring them home?
2) Why is Dasuki calling our brave Military heroes 'cowards' before a British audience and GEJ says nothing to defend our valiant troops?
3) Why are our soldiers owed salaries and allowances despite the trillions budgeted for security? Why are our troops buying their own uniforms?
4) What is GEJ spending the defence budget on, when no significant military hardware has been purchased for 20 years?
5) Why did the Military do nothing about Baga and Monguno despite getting warnings before the attack? Why hasn't GEJ questioned his military commanders about this?
6) What is GEJ doing about Baga? Almost 4000 structures destroyed. Almost 2000 Nigerians killed? Why were our fellow Nigerians not evacuated from these towns despite the Military command knowing the community would be attacked?
7) GEJ sent a message commiserating with France a day after the Charlie massacre of 17 dead? Why did it take GEJ weeks to commiserate with the people of Baga?
cool Why is GEJ allowing the army to arrest the brave Colonel who wrote him declaring it was corruption by the top brass preventing the military defeating Boko Haram? If GEJ cares for truth, why isn't he listening to this Colonel?
9) Why are British Parliamentarians saying GEJ is only paying lip service to fighting Boko Haram - and that Nigeria has the capacity to deal with Boko Haram if GEJ wants to?
10) 20% of Nigeria's budget goes on security. N4.4 trillion has been spent on security during the years of GEJ's regime. Where is the security when Nigeria has lost significant amounts of territory?
11) How can GEJ have an NSA who says sophisticated weaponry is not needed to defeat insurgents? Does GEJ expect our troops to use bows and arrows?
12) 3 million Nigerians have become refugees, driven from their homes, some fleeing to live in refugee camps in Cameron, crying for their homeland. What is GEJ doing to bring them back home?

Facts

1) GEJ is the first Nigerian leader to lose territory in a way with an enemy.
2) GEJ ignored the North East and only went for a staged photo-op with 'injured' soldiers and to campaign for votes. When will GEJ visit the truly injured soldiers?
3) GEJ's supporters make excuses for him: he is inexperienced; he is gentle, the North is making problems for him. How can we keep deceiving ourselves? After 6 years in office, how much more experience does he need? Do we need a gentle C-in-C fighting our battle? Is it Northern politicians stopping him from ensuring his military command prosecute this war successfully?
4) GEJ has failed. GEJ cannot fight this insurgency. GEJ blames everyone else for his failure. GEJ has failed to keep Nigeria secure. GEJ has failed to keep Nigerians safe.

The Solution For Nigeria.

Cometh the hour and cometh the man.

1) General Buhari has the proven military experience and toughness that GEJ lacks. Nigeria needs a leader with proven experience in defeating terrorists.
2) In the 1980's, General Buhari crushed the deadly Maitaisine sect - terrorists like Boko Haram.
3) Buhari defeated an ambush by Chad into Nigerian territory and pushed them out of Nigeria. He then captured territory in Chad before the Nigerian govt halted his advance.
4) Under Buhari's regime in 1984 - 1985, Nigeria invested in sophisticated weaponry, some of which the army still uses today.

Nigeria must say goodbye to a President who cannot keep the country secure. GEJ has had 6 years to lead us but he has failed us. It is time for proven Military experience. It is time for a leader who knows how to crush terrorists. It is time for change. It is time for Buhari.
