ANN Presidential Aspirant, Gbenga Olawepo Hashim picks up his expression of interest and nomination form.
|
Every other party became apc. They did win pdp,but are not any better. It's time to embrace a truly ideological party like ANN |
Aspirant berates APC over expensive nomination form A presidential aspirant, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has berated the All Progressives Congress for charging N45m for his expression of interest and nomination forms in a country where an average citizen lives on less than a dollar a day. He described as bogus the claim that a group contributed N45m to purchase the forms for President Muhammadu Buhari, contending that the money was most likely pulled out from the government coffers. Olawepo-Hashim, who is aspiring to be President on the platform of the Alliance for New Nigeria, urged Nigerians to reject both President Buhari and all the people “regrouping to present themselves as credible alternatives to the failing APC.” “And for those hapless members without access to government coffers, it is regrettable that they are selling their assets to raise the funds, with the mindset that such will give them licence to the public till when the time comes,” the presidential hopeful said in a statement on Monday. He noted that the world over, the only legitimate way through which political parties raise money was a collection of dues from members. “And it is the reason why the ANN is following this path, as a party of new ideas, and as a party that is ready to bring in a new beginning. “In ANN, our nomination fees are modest, and the average aspirant is not likely to imagine that he has paid for a licence to dip his or her hands in the public till at the end of the day. “The earlier we got things right as we are doing in the ANN, the better for us, our nation, and the future generation,” he said. https://punchng.com/aspirant-berates-apc-over-expensive-nomination-form/ |
Olawepo-Hashim Decries High Cost Of Nomination Fees https://theeagleonline.com.ng/olawepo-hashim-decries-high-cost-of-nomination-fees/ Frontline presidential aspirant, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has decried the high cost of nomination fees being charged by the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party. Olawepo-Hashim, who lately criticized the regrouping of some corrupt politicians ahead of taking over from the failing APC, said the fees were outrageous in a nation where people are rated to live on less than a dollar a day. Reputed to be the favourite of the youths, the intelligentsias and the business community, he argued that the high cost of nomination fees is unparalleled in the world. According to the business mogul, who is running on the platform of the Alliance for New Nigeria: “Claims that the monies were contributed by other interest groups for some aspirants are also bogus, because they are most likely from government coffers. And for those hapless members without access to government coffers, it is regrettably that they are selling their assets to raise the funds, with the mindset that such will give them license to the public till when the time comes.” To the eloquent politician, with a rich pro-democracy pedigree, the one legitimate way of raising funds for political parties the world over is through membership dues. Olawepo-Hashim said: “And it is the reason why the ANN is following this path, as a party of new ideas, and as a party that is ready to bring in a new beginning. “In ANN, our nomination fees are modest, and the average aspirant is not likely to imagine that he has paid for a license to deep his or her hands in the public till at the end of the day. “The earlier we get things right as we are doing in the ANN, the better for us, our nation, and the future generation.” |

Watch below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0if8uvPcwLo |
There are people who believes in Nigeria, people who consistently sacrifice their comfort to make this country great. Olawepo Hashim is one of such. We must support Hashim to take Nigeria to its promiseland |

THERE WERE RAPPERS https://mrrightsng..com/2018/09/there-were-rappers-by-adewale-gp.html?m=1 (An Article Strictly for Intending Rappers) Though it's a bit lengthy but endeavour to read on... Many rappers have come, many rappers have gone. Some of them were felt, while some never made any impact, some flashed up momentarily, fell, struggled and never made it to the path again. Some even fell from the top and to the point of never been mentioned again. Some came up materially with a lavish glamourizing lifestyle (talk about the bling-bling, tattoos, cash, women, drugs, cars, expensive videos etc.), but their contents never stood the test of time. Some were tight lyrically but weren’t appealing and as a result were underrated, some were wack skillfully but were accepted and celebrated, some were not talentedly fit, but grace kept them going. Some misused the opportunity they had, and ultimately failed to blow. Some were hungry and promising but ended up miserably. Some lost it for ignorantly glorifying diverse and unknown images, symbols, gods etc., with the use of taboo words, sign languages, postures and the rest, that they (themselves) don’t even understand or know about. Some sold their souls in exchange for fortune and fame. Some failed because of the stage-names and monikers they gave themselves e.g. “Old Dirty Bastard, “Poor Righteous Teachers” etc. Some were fooled, deceived and adulterated by the industry standards, and were somehow misled, some fell out because they broke the oaths and agreements of the deals with their record labels, managers, promoters and sponsors. Some because of ego trip and status, lacked self-control, beefed and dissed the Hip hop heads, and their career ended up. Some due to minor success, run their mouths during interviews, failed to realize that Hip hop is way bigger than just rap, then went ahead competing… and consequently crumpled down their own artistry by themselves. Some messed up because of lack of managerial skills, plus marketing plans and strategies. They weren’t business-oriented. (Talent is not enough!). Some especially (the wanna-be, who aint gonna-be) couldn’t and wouldn’t make it, because they so wished, copied, imitated, mimicked and faked to be that other rapper they idolized and were obsessed with. (they see them no more as role-models but hoping to be exactly like them, to me, that’s failure, because those who compete and compare themselves to others are never complete). Some blame it on lack of funds (capital), sponsors and failed to do any other job (Plan A) except rap. (You go hear am!). Some don’t even understand the rap game, they don’t study its basics and rudiments, they have no role-models, influences nor mentors, they don’t know the purpose why… but just jumped into it simply coz they feel they could rhyme, impress and entertain. (Go and ask; SKY B) But we have some few who stood their grounds because they knew and understood early enough that they had a calling for the game..., though they were faced with the challenges of life, they were tossed…, but they pushed…, despite their poor backgrounds, they elevated themselves (well rounded), they believed in themselves as well as their crafts and used it as a medium that speak volume for an outcry and liberation of the masses. They re-wrote histories, broke fallow grounds, put their all into their arts, and unknowingly became legends while been consistent. They never allowed personal circumstances, obstacles, rejections, disappointments, scandals, trials, charges, jail times etc. to stop them. They put their marks down even in places their feet never touched, their songs motivated the planet, their lyrics left marks on peoples’ minds, their flows left stretch marks on stages, they educated the younger ones, though some of them were short-lived, but they made it from nothing to something, from ashes to classic, from being local to going global, they eventually became a household name. And such is this gem who lived just 25-years on this terrestrial plane. None other than… TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR (1971 – 1996) Some of us now may not really have grown up then during his prime, but for those of us who knew…, “truly, a book is not enough to tell who Tupac was…”, and at least, there is one of his songs you’ve ever loved or bobbed your head to. Though some see him (Tupac) as a Thug, Rapper, Artist, Black Jesus, Prophet, Poet, Misogynist, Lyricist, Mentor, Traitor, Rapist etc. But I see him as a Human, a Voice, a Rose that grew on a Concrete! Tupac, though he believed in God, I’d wished he knew Christ before he was killed. One of his favourite quotes was: “Though I may not change the world, but I guarantee I can spark the brain that will change the world”. R – I – P! To a Great Rap Music Legend who died on this day, (September 13th, 1996), exactly 22 years ago. (Only God Can Judge You – The Don Makavelli) - By ADEWALE G.P |

Kemi Adeosun and Nigeria's failed institutions By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat The Kemi Adeosun's scandal, now refered to as #KemiGate has exposed how deficient our institutions are and we all need be worried. Beyond any doubt, it has been established that the former minister of Finance procured fake NYSC certificate, which she has now admitted in her resignation letter, many months after the news broke These are 5 issues to worry about: 1. Adeosun obtained fake NYSC certificate, which is against the law. How did this happen? 2. Ogun State House of Assembly didn't detect this forgery and she was cleared for appointment as commissioner. A whole state legislative house. 3. DSS, Nigeria's intelligent agency didn't detect this also and she was adjudged by the agency as clean to be recommended as Minister. How? If DSS couldn't detect this simple matter, shouldn't we be worried about our national security? 4. National Assembly also didn't detect this highly sensitive matter as she was confirmed as Minister. I mean, we may overlook the state assembly and claim they have limited authority. What about the National Assembly? What stopped them from detecting this? 5. Surprisingly, what all our institution couldn't detect, a journalist, who is committed to duty detected it and establish the fact beyond any reasonable doubt. Without any budget. Without allowance. Without power of oversight. Without security k nowledge. The journalist did it. Isn't this worrisome? https://mrrightsng..com/2018/09/kemi-adeosun-5-reasons-why-nigerians.html?m=1 |
