Jaqenhghar:A national economic blue print is what he has designed to achieve this aim. Don't forget, this is a man who owns a company producing close to 500 megawat of electricity for this country. His striving businesses in telecoms and oil and gas are perfect example of practical approach. You don't have to listen to his words, just loot at his accomplishment. |
frowland:If he would stop the killings abroad, obviously, he would do the same at home. In Olawepo Hashim's word, ''i will stop the killings in the land'', ''i will bring Nigeria back together again'' |
CocoaOla:The blogger is a us based blogger and so reported the portion of the news that related to his audience. Hashim actually started by explaning how he would stop the killings in the land, here in Nigeria. Then he made it clear that the life of a Nigerian must be valuable, not just in Nigeria, but ever where around world |
IamHansomE:You mean people being killed in places like South Africa, Libya etc are safe? Abeg, don't be ridiculous. Nigeria must give priority to the lives of our citizens everywhere around the world and Olawpo Hashim is making the right priority. |
koolbe:You are very funny bro. Who knows Fela? Who is Fela when we are talking about Hashim? When Hashim was confronting military tanks and fighting for democracy, where was Fela? When Hashim is generating electricity for this country without one Kobo from government, where was Fela? When Hashim was leading Nigerian students, where was Fela? When Hashim, as a young man was leading national mobilisation of people for political participation, where was Fela? Abeg, don't compare a national man with a boys scout. |
boringnigerian:The difference between running a business and running a country is very simple. Politics. That's the only difference. Government is not obsessed with making profit, business is. Fortunately for us, Olawepo Hashim is not only a business man, he his a democratic symbol of global standing. Starting as a student union leader who led Anti Sap protest against military government in 1989, he has equipped himself with the required foundational leadership skills. He rose to become one of the founders of committee for defence of human rights in early 90's. Then was part of the g34 that fought for the return of democracy in 1999. He was part those few patriots who put governance ahead of politics. So, this is a competent hand to lead Nigeria to success. |
CSTR1005:You are very correct. However, Fela can't be compared to Hashim in terms of capability to deliver. Hashim is a global investors with business interest in key sectors such as oil and gas, energy, telecoms. He has investment in these sectors not just in Nigeria, but 7 countries, giving him practical experience and knowledge to deliver on the promise. So, if truly you want this ideas to come to life, you should be supporting Hashim for 2019 |
saintol:This is a global man with investment in 7 countries, and over 27years experience creating jobs. Idealists don't create jobs. Idealists don't have investment in 7 countries. The idea put forth by Olawepo Hashim is a plan that has been designed to take this country out of poverty. Let's support Goh42019 |
yinnyme:My brother, unless you don't want to genuinely fix the country, there is no quick fix anywhere. Even you and i were not quick fixed. You were carried in the wumb for 9 months . Why? Because there is no quick fix. Only liars will promise a quick fix, but unfortunately, Olawepo Hashim is not a liar. I don't think you would love liars too. Lets support people with realistic agenda for development. |
I will stop the humiliation of Nigerians abroad Mr. Olawepo-Hashim in Abuja declares on Wednesday that security of Nigerians abroad will be part of his topmost priority if elected to lead Nigeria in 2019. Olawepo-Hashim, a businessman, pan-Africanist and a two-time winner of Kwame Nkrumah Leadership award is running for Nigeria President under the banner of ANN said: “there would be a consequence for anyone that takes a life of a Nigerian.” Olawepo-Hashim directs his message to some countries where there have been reported cases of xenophobic attacks on Nigerians. He issues a stern warning that any life of Nigerian unjustifiably taken in any part of the world will attract proportionate consequences. “I will put an end to where Nigerian shops would be attacked in some countries, where the life of Nigeria would be taken for fun because they think there would be no consequences” he stated. Meanwhile, Nigerians have been subjected to indignities in obvious hate in countries like India and South Africa. It is a national disgrace that the Nigerian government has not adequately reacted to these confirmed widespread reports about the organized acts of attacks carried out on innocent Nigerians abroad. The Foreign Affairs Ministry has not done enough to speak and protect affected Nigerians. http://casaonline.org/2018/09/19/i-will-stop-the-humiliation-of-nigerians-abroad-olawepo-hashim/ |
pawesome:This is a global figure with 27years history of business on the global stage. |
Righteousness89:The truth is, Buhari need rest. But who takes over after him? We can't afford to say anybody, but Buhari. We must hand over the country to someone competent, with clear economic plan to lead the country to prosperity. That is why Olawepo Hashim is the best |
sodiqapril:All these people are not known to produce anything for this country. They just consume and consume. Olawepo Hashim is different. He has never taken from this country, rather he has been producing.. We need a producer, not a consumer |
boringnigerian:Fixing an economy is not miracle. It is done with knowledge and understanding. That is what Olawepo Hashim is bringing to the table. As a successful global business man, he has all it takes to deliver as promised |
integrity16:That's even small when our potential is properly harnessed. By the accomplishment of Olawepo Hashim in the global business world, particularly in energy, oil and telecoms, he has what it takes to deliver on this. Even much more. If only Nigerians can give him the chance to fix this country, we will have no course to be regarded as third world country |
olaola45:The economic plan is properly in place obviously. This is a global figure, with investment in 7 countries. It's time to discuss policies. |
SeriouslySense:This is the kind of thinking that can lead us to a new Nigeria. However, it may shock you to know that, APC and PDP cannot win in 2019. A new Nigeria will emerge and we must all do our part |
Almaiga:Wrong. Wrong . Wrong . It is time for a new Nigeria and Olawepo Hashim will lead us that promise land in 2019 |
Mcy56:Did you some people are clowns? Hum, this is more like a mad man calling passer by mad. He couldn't realise he his the sick one |
OmoManU:It seems you live in the past. People with vision are pushed by that vision until it succeed. Go and ask Abraham Lincoln. This is a man with realistic agenda for development |
zlantanfan:Nigeria now has a credible alternative in ANN and Olawepo Hashim. We must also show that we are ready indeed ready for this better Nigeria we are all clamouring for |
Hopebringer:Gbenga Olawepo Hashim, the man ready to lead Nigeria to the promise land |
ANN Will deliver $4trillion Economy Within 10 years, Says Presidential Aspirant, Olawepo-Hashim ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Frontline presidential aspirant under the platform of Alliance for New Nigeria ANN, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has assured that the party would implement a New Economic Development Programme NEDP that would lead to the expansion of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product GDP to 4 trillion dollars within a space of ten years if voted as the president of the nation. He disclosed this while receiving nomination and expression of interest form at the Party’s secretariat on Wednesday in Abuja, adding that the NEDP will also increase the Per Capital Income PCI of the average Nigerian to between 16,000 to 18,000 US dollars. The presidential aspirant while saying that the NEDP which would target an estimated 2 trillion naira US dollars into infrastructure within ten years, explained that it would as well create jobs from manufacturing, industrialisation and link up industries with solid minerals and agricultural sector. “This development obviously will make Nigeria to be at par with middle income countries like Malaysia, with whom we had comparable income level at independence”, Olawepo added. Speaking further on the current state of the economy, Olawepo noted that though President Muhammadu Buhari has tried his best but he still needs to resign decently. According to him: “I respect President Muhammadu Buhari as a father. He is our Baba and we are his children. I will not insult him because we don’t insult people as a party and where I come from. But the truth is, President Buhari needs to go and rest. ANN is practically prepared to give him a befitting rest.” Adding: “I am therefore better placed to bring the country back together and most assured that I can get the job done given my record of accomplishment. I will restructure the economy from a dependent one to a self reliant one, by investing in iron and steel, research and development, and in other critical sectors of the economy”. He equally said that the Agricultural sector would be integrated with the industrial and solid minerals torn to create sustainable jobs for youths employment will be accelerated through the promotion of innovation and the knowledge economy. Olawepo attributed many challenges confronting the nation to the ruling party, All Progressives Congress APC, saying that “the party lack some certain skill to correct things”. https://sundiatapost.com/2018/09/19/ann-will-deliver-4trillion-economy-within-10-years-says-presidential-aspirant-olawepo-hashim/ |

POMP, AS OLAWEPO-HASHIM PICKS ANN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION FORM “I will unite Nigerians, fix the economy, and stop killings in the land”, he says, adding, “I respect President Buhari, but…” It was pomp as frontline Presidential aspirant, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim went notches higher towards the realization of his ambition yesterday as he procured the Alliance for New Nigeria’s (ANN) nomination form, promising to foster unity, fix the economy and to stop the killings in the land. Olawepo-Hashim who said he is full of respect for President Mohammadu Buhari for his sacrifices to the nation, however noted that what Nigeria urgently needs is a president that will be a commander-in-chief to all Nigerians. “I am therefore better placed to bring the country back together. I am most assured I can get the job done given my record of accomplishment” he said with a high of confidence, adding “I will restructure the economy from a dependent one to a self-reliant economy by investing in iron and steel, research and development, and in other critical sectors” These critical sectors, he pursued, will include “chemical and machine tools, so as to generate the production of capital goods, local capital and to bring in prosperity, through the needed multipliers” The business mogul with substantial interest in Oil Exploration and Energy generation also promised to implement a New Economic Development Programme (NEDP), which will lead to the expansion of Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 510 billion dollars to 4 trillion dollars within ten years. Besides, the NEDP will also increase the Per Capital Income (PCI) of the average Nigerian to between 16,000 to18, 000 US dollars within ten years as well. This, to the cerebral politician, will make Nigeria to be at par with middle-income countries like Malaysia, with whom we had comparable income level at independence. Other than this, the astute politician said NEDP would target an estimated 2 trillion US dollars into infrastructure within ten years. It will also create jobs from manufacturing, industrialization, and then link up industries with solid minerals and the agricultural sector. According to him, the agricultural sector will be integrated with the industrial and solid mineral sectors, to create sustainable jobs for youths employment will also be accelerated through the promotion of innovation and the knowledge economy. He reasoned that not all problems in Nigeria are caused by the APC. “Some are caused by the colonial masters and have been left unattended to. It is however regrettable that the former colonial masters now ridicule the nation, and even more regrettable that the APC and previous leaders lack the skill set to correct things” Olawepo-Hashim then noted: “I respect President Buhari. He is our baba, and we are his children. From where I come from, we do not insult elders. Truth is that he has done a lot, and should now go and rest. We are prepared to give him a befitting exit” END |
