The difference between running a business and running a country is very simple. Politics. That's the only difference.

Government is not obsessed with making profit, business is.

Fortunately for us, Olawepo Hashim is not only a business man, he his a democratic symbol of global standing.

Starting as a student union leader who led Anti Sap protest against military government in 1989, he has equipped himself with the required foundational leadership skills. He rose to become one of the founders of committee for defence of human rights in early 90's. Then was part of the g34 that fought for the return of democracy in 1999. He was part those few patriots who put governance ahead of politics.

So, this is a competent hand to lead Nigeria to success.

Proper and efficient utilisation of the entire crude oil and gas value chain could produce a 800-1 trillion dollars in GDP .


Agriculture, solid minerals, and the other manufacturing subsectors can produce another 1-2 trillion dollars in GDP combined.

But you need accelerated growth to achieve those.

That is why I concur with Fela durotoye, when he said Nigeria need to accelerate.
That is insight.

You are very correct.

However, Fela can't be compared to Hashim in terms of capability to deliver.

Hashim is a global investors with business interest in key sectors such as oil and gas, energy, telecoms. He has investment in these sectors not just in Nigeria, but 7 countries, giving him practical experience and knowledge to deliver on the promise.

So, if truly you want this ideas to come to life, you should be supporting Hashim for 2019

Mr. Olawepo-Hashim in Abuja declares on Wednesday that security of Nigerians abroad will be part of his topmost priority if elected to lead Nigeria in 2019.
Olawepo-Hashim, a businessman, pan-Africanist and a two-time winner of Kwame Nkrumah Leadership award is running for Nigeria President under the banner of ANN said: “there would be a consequence for anyone that takes a life of a Nigerian.”

Olawepo-Hashim directs his message to some countries where there have been reported cases of xenophobic attacks on Nigerians. He issues a stern warning that any life of Nigerian unjustifiably taken in any part of the world will attract proportionate consequences. “I will put an end to where Nigerian shops would be attacked in some countries, where the life of Nigeria would be taken for fun because they think there would be no consequences” he stated.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have been subjected to indignities in obvious hate in countries like India and South Africa. It is a national disgrace that the Nigerian government has not adequately reacted to these confirmed widespread reports about the organized acts of attacks carried out on innocent Nigerians abroad. The Foreign Affairs Ministry has not done enough to speak and protect affected Nigerians.

ANN Will deliver $4trillion Economy Within 10 years, Says Presidential Aspirant, Olawepo-Hashim

ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Frontline presidential aspirant under the platform of Alliance for New Nigeria ANN, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has assured that the party would implement a New Economic Development Programme NEDP that would lead to the expansion of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product GDP to 4 trillion dollars within a space of ten years if voted as the president of the nation.
He disclosed this while receiving nomination and expression of interest form at the Party’s secretariat on Wednesday in Abuja, adding that the NEDP will also increase the Per Capital Income PCI of the average Nigerian to between 16,000 to 18,000 US dollars.

The presidential aspirant while saying that the NEDP which would target an estimated 2 trillion naira US dollars into infrastructure within ten years, explained that it would as well create jobs from manufacturing, industrialisation and link up industries with solid minerals and agricultural sector.

“This development obviously will make Nigeria to be at par with middle income countries like Malaysia, with whom we had comparable income level at independence”, Olawepo added.

Speaking further on the current state of the economy, Olawepo noted that though President Muhammadu Buhari has tried his best but he still needs to resign decently.

According to him: “I respect President Muhammadu Buhari as a father. He is our Baba and we are his children. I will not insult him because we don’t insult people as a party and where I come from. But the truth is, President Buhari needs to go and rest. ANN is practically prepared to give him a befitting rest.”

Adding: “I am therefore better placed to bring the country back together and most assured that I can get the job done given my record of accomplishment. I will restructure the economy from a dependent one to a self reliant one, by investing in iron and steel, research and development, and in other critical sectors of the economy”.

He equally said that the Agricultural sector would be integrated with the industrial and solid minerals torn to create sustainable jobs for youths employment will be accelerated through the promotion of innovation and the knowledge economy.

The business mogul with substantial interest in Oil Exploration and Energy generation also promised to implement a New Economic Development Programme (NEDP), which will lead to the expansion of Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 510 billion dollars to 4 trillion dollars within ten years.

Besides, the NEDP will also increase the Per Capital Income (PCI) of the average Nigerian to between 16,000 to18, 000 US dollars within ten years as well.
