TCD: I find your last two posts on this thread very hypocritical. You yourself have opened two threads in the last one month to rant and vent about your pre order deal with this same dealer. As to the bolded I vividly recall you complaining amongst many things about missed deadlines and delayed delivery even in a most recent one alluding to the dealer shipping through congested AES to maximise profit at your expense. I wonder why you didn't remember all this sanctimonious and self-righteous preaching before you came on NL to lament. . I don't blame you sha, its because as you don chop belleful na now you know say waiter no carry toothpick come.By the time you go through all my threads you will realise I never mentioned any dealer's name. I will exhaust all other options before bringing a dealer's name to disrepute on a public forum. But then everyone cannot be like me. I do not blame the Op for opening this thread. Afterall it's his hard earned money we are talking about here. I have been reading the thread for long without dropping any serious comments. But the rate at which people are trying to play 'God' even after the dealer has assumed responsibility is what calls my pen to action. This thread needn't be this long. In as much as Mr Inspired hasn't gone incommunicado. Mr TCD Let me ask you....Did Inspired say he will not fix the radio? No need for all the public debates. Let's all hope for the best. Cheers. |
alexisalex: Na only you waka come get all these problem? Oxone: Hahahahaha as in!As in!! The guy got me laffing hard! ![]() |
Ishilove: Nigerians are rich??Eeyah....chief as long as you still breathe there is such huge hope for you. Who says you can't be the next billionaire. By virtue of anything! |
cne010: Bimbor 2014 Range 50m? The LWB is $186,000.00. Inspired has delivered your car in great shape be happy!!!Oga scratch that. Businessmen are in it to make profit so don't school me about the RRS LWB. 1. He delivered late - A lot of factors could account for that, That does not call for thread opening. 2. He charged extra - NO SIR He didn't. Read the thread again. 3. He didn't respond to the client prior to this thread - YES and that is not a good one and neither do I support that. But now he has come to the fore to bear the brunt. So it is no longer necessary to want to crucify him prematurely, you only do that if he fails to deliver eventually. Enough of all the rants here, Let's just wait for Mr Inspired to drive the OP's car back to him in a fixed shape. |
The truth is some deals do go sour. But this idea of rushing to murder a dealer at any available opportunity is not the best. If the dealer is willing to ammend the broken deal he should be given a chance. A lot of these beef for Inspired here is borne out of Unhealthy competition by very close called rivals or people who would stop at nothing to see Inspired go down. This is really not the best. And you guys should realise that you can all fall victims of similar issues in your own lines of franchise, you really don't have to be a dealer, be you a Banker, a Doctor, an Engineer or maybe a business tycoon, you are not immune to these stuffs, it's an everyday happening. It's part of business. But in as much as the dealer has come to the house to clear the air, accept full responsibility and is ready to take care of the issue at no extra cost to the buyer, I think he deserves a little time and mercy. The no-sinner amongst u guys should please cast the first stone. Faceless forum, talk is cheap. Inspired has a face to his business as well as a physical address and is worth more than that damaged accessory. Mr OP said Inspired has come to pick the car to be fixed so everybody should take a chill pill and wait for the outcome to materialise. No need for all this bitter envy for someone who has earned a name and built a reputation over years of hard work. Mr Abimbola Akin Emmanuel aka Inspired has been there done that. He has bought the most expensive cars on this forum and delivered with no qualms. He delivered a similar FX35 to Linda Ikeji about 2 years ago for a little over 8 million naira and she never came here with any complaints. This same Inspired bought the latest 2014 RRS Autobiography worth 50 million on this same Nairaland with no issues. So why everybody dey para! Make una calm down. Inspired will fix that radio. Enough of all this bad belle already!! |
alexisalex: Na only you waka come get all these problem?Lmao ![]() |
As Onas dey drag to release VIN like this......Hhmmmm. Diariz God oooh ![]() |
fyneboi79: Mr man u are talking trash here!So d said vehicle decided to develop faults while being shipped to Nigeria? A vehicle which did not function well on delivery was faulty right from d point of purchase all because he paid lower than he charged d client. There is no middle line between honesty and dishonesty. One is either upright or a thief. And Inspired is d latter.Oga why your blood dey hot na? Easy oh, Doctors are on strike oh ![]() |
jeremiahweep: More importantly, I recently unravelled a new "well-thought of" scam used by a particular trusted car dealer to deceive customers (I won't mention his name yet). It is known that the only way you can prove that a car's Odometer has been rolled back is by checking the Carfax or Autocheck history. Fraudulent car dealers have gone to another level to ensure you never find out about the Odometer rollback even after checking the Carfax or Autocheck history. That will be an informative thread. Please put it up soonest if you haven't done so yet. This is the kind of stories the Auto section needs. And we promise you to land it on Front page soon as it is dropped here. Cheers. |
chibabe3: Why is this post no longer on the front page of auto section. It was never stickied. |
emalekuo: You are wrong It's cheaper to clear of grimaldi than any other shipping line. do your research well or pick a 2004 corolla as a case study. But if you talking of cost of shipping then grimaldi is more expensive.Okay. Noted. |
ceejay80s: i don beg am,Lol.....I dey oh chief. Good job you're doing bro. |
ceejay80: pls i beg all of u to stop this, if u're not buying , pls the exit door to ur browser is the red botton of ur mobile phone, u wey go school and u cant even spell "pathetic"Ceejay this man was only having ur back. |
Gozzzy: Blazing like hell fire!!!!!!! Nice ride bro. Happy sales.Okay now Toyota are beginning to up their game in the SUV zone. This is what we call SUV not all those their Bland previous model classes. But they still have a century to catch up with Land rover and Nissan. Those ones are so far gone. Na VexUV those ones dey produce now..... ![]() |
inspiredm: Yes Sir, We Can Import any Model Year Vehicle, We Cannot Purchase from Individual Buyers from Craigslist, Most of the Listings are Scams, We Deal with Only Dealerships and Auctions in the USA Sir.@Inspired are you for real?! I almost did that sometime ago oh.....and the white lady was ready for me to come have a physical inspection of the car! Na wa oh. I thought these frauds were only in Naija. |
We sealed this deal with 40% deposit which was wired to Mr Inspired's GTBank Account. He's in the process of finalising the delivery and so until then the 60% remains in my account ![]() |
I promised to update the 'House' as things unfold sequel to the thread I created a while back. So as expected I should keep to my bargain. One certainty I've come to realise about Inspired Autos is that he most certainly delivers but he does operates his business in a 'Stealth Mode'. He hardly communicates his mode of business to you and this is where some buyers like myself gets uneasy. Like the mode of acquisition of your car to him is none of your business. How your car gets to the port is his business and not yours and until you become very desperate Inspired may never divulge the vessel shipping your ride to you. But these are some of the things buyers want to know. I will not bore you guys with the details of how my deal with him metamorphosed, All I can say now is that he always tells me not to worry that the car will come. Most times when he does not have good news for you he may ignore your calls but he will surely reply your emails But one thing I admire about this man is that he never gets angry with his clients no matter what. That's a remarkable side. Let me just conclude by saying he doesn't joke with his money.....as soon as your car is ready Inspired will be the first to call you to remind you of his balance ![]() He's quite trustworthy but sometimes he does not keep to time frames maybe due to Force Majeure ![]() But I can leave my money with him and go to sleep ![]() |
GAZZUZZ:That thread was lost to Nairaland DDoS. And please permit me to say it gave birth to this thread ![]() As soon as "Oluwa" got involved, things changed and I guess the end will justify the means in a few days time. I will speak then but the pictures may speak louder than my words ![]() |
emalekuo: I stand to be corrected its cheaper to clear a car on grimaldi than AES, the difference here is that grimaldi usually takes longer time to sail and there are no guarantees that your car would be on a particular vessel unlike eukor and AES that can give specific departure dates.Na lie oooh! Clearing on Grimaldi is more expensive than AES. You've been corrected, you can sit now. |
TCD: Bimbor, you again. Huffing and puffing with no centre point or target. Hian.Lol.....my brother do you blame me? |
Hhmmmm. Mr Inspired has finally delivered my 2008 Toyota Camry XLE down to Naija......It really took some time and I had to learn something I wasn't really used to "Patience". I must confess that this is the cleanest i've seen in the whole of Lagos!! ![]() The car is still in his custody as "Oga at the top" is trying to put some finishing touches on his job as well as some Transformative accessories ![]() Let me leave him to do his job....We will saturate Nairaland with pictures when he's done with the extra touches. Inspired! Nairaland is waiting ooh!! |
inspiredm: 1969 Dodge Charger is 4.5m NairaAbeg oh, This Dodge Charger na Car charger? |
4M for 2012 Crosstour.?? Na awoof be dis ooh!!! |
Miss Niger killed it. Katsina 2nd, Adamawa 3rd, Kogi 4th. |
hardbody: Lol. Ok. on a salary scale of N24m plus per annum, i earn more than that in a month. Does that still make sense to you? I am coming strictly from my perspective and so do not see how N700k amounts to 'making it'. Its less than a couple of guys monthly take home. That is my point, i have not in anyway suggested that N.7m is not good money, especially when won on a bet, but it does not go beyond the short term.Lol....Una no go school? So $46k now amounts to 700k?! Na wa ooh. |
I think buyers should be allowed or be guided to choose their preferred shipping lines prior to shipping their vehicles. Honestly, the pains associated with this pre-order deal is just too much to bear. Most dealers prefer to ship via the AES Platform because it is much more cheaper for them to clear compared to Grimaldi. But there are lots of congestion that goes on at the AES terminal leading to delayed car delivery to the buyer. But the dealer doesn't care, afterall he's cruising his expensive G-wagon while his buyer his taking Okada. What does he care?? His profit, his money, his enjoyment, that is all that matters to him, the buyer can GnD for all he cares. There is little or no congestion at the Grimaldi terminal but they will never use that terminal because it will cost them more to clear and less profit for them. But why add to the pains of buyers who have waited several weeks for their cars to arrive from USA? I think Seun should once again address this pre-order business. The buyers are the ones suffering it really. When will this mess stop? |
SOLD!!! But the Nairaland attack relisted it ![]() |
Eyop: My Oga if you drive the C350 Sports you will dislike Japanese cars completely.Hhmmmm, that's actually what a friend told me....that once you own a Mercedes you can never go back to Japanese cars! ![]() Maybe, just maybe my next car will be the SLR McLaren ![]() |
Mr Fhemmy please do you have an idea of situation of things at Tin Can Port at the moment? Do u have any vehicles coming in through AES - Marvelous Ace? Do you know if Marvelous Ace has berthed.? If not do you know how soon it will berth and discharge? Please kindly help if you have any helpful info concerning my above queries.... Anticipating your kind response. Thanks. Bimbor. |
Eyop: If you review problems of different brands of vehicles you may be discouraged to even own one. Toyota,Nissan,Honda,Acura, Lexus, etc also have their own common problems and sometimes may not even happen because it depends on usage. All of the above you listed are not big deal to me because it isn't a problem that can happen with a certified car that has a very low mileage and sometimes may not even happen and even if it does,it can be sorted out here e.g like the Engine Rattling you mentioned do happen in other brands. Moreover when i buy,it won't be an everyday car but most times strictly for travelling long distance because Benz is perfect for that.@The Bolded, Yes ooh!! The last time I drove a C300 4matic I thought I was flying a Jet! Meehn those cars are just fast!! Like they have a 2nd engine inside them ![]() German machines I hail oooh!! |
