So I was at the US embassy today with my wife ( application 1) and my in-law.( application 2)

Me and wiffy- good morning
Vo- name?
Me and wiffy- told him our names
V.o- why areu going to the US
Me- attending my brother inlaws wedding
Wiffy- attending my bro's wedding
V.o- what do u do?
Me- banker; I am a relationship manager
Wiffy- fashion designer.
V.o- are u accessing public health facility in the US
Me- didn't get that
V.o- repeated himsef
Me- no
V.o- typed and typed......sorry u are not qualified as at this time

Vo- where are u going?
FIL- maryland, US....the guy even mention theaddy
V.o- what do u do
FIL- beverage trading....i am aretired banker. Spent 30 years in...bank.retired last year
Vo- what are u going to do
FIL- to see my son, he is an IT analyst in the US military.
V.o what do you do
MIL- trader
FIL- she trades in .....
V.o..... types and types....handles them a white paper.collect you visa at this location.

I think I know what went wrong and what went right...but can alone spot it?

Meanwhile I have been denied a US visa twice, just got my UK visa two days ago, but av travelled to 2 west African countries before and wiffy is pregnant.

I submitted my UK application exactly a month ago. Got a mail from sheffied that a decision has been made on my application last week Tuesday, tsl also sent a mail last Wednesday that a decision has been made and would get my docs and passport in a few days time.
Since that time I neva hear Anytin again ooo. Can I go to tsl as I have a US visa interview on Wednesday.

No update yet ooo.
Only got a mail on Wednesday from tls that my application has been reviewed and decision and docs wud be sent back to the VAC over the next few days. I am so apprehensive as I av a US visa interview next week Wednesday.

House, how long does it take to get ones docs back from the VAC from the date sheffied notifies one that a decision has been reached.

It could mean that it was difficult making a decision based on the documents provided. If they needed more documents they would have informed you though or if an interview was required. All the best. When did you make the application and what was duration of visa requested?

I did my biometrics and submitted my docs in vi on the 5th Aug 2016 and it's for a 6month visa..

Thanks for the good job you guys are doing here.
About a week ago, I got a mail from Sheffield that my application is not straightforward. Today, I got a mail that a decision has been made regarding my visa application and.it shud be ready for collection in 3-5 days.
Now my question is, what does it mean when they say an application is not straightforward? I read sometimes ago here when a lady had a lengthy ban after she got a mail that her application was not straight forward.

I am thinking of making the withdrawal next week Tuesday or Wednesday if my application is not concluded by then. How many days would it take to get my passport back if I make the withdrawal on tuesday.

Thanks for the great work you are doing.
I submitted my application for a 6month visa on the 5th of Aug and my application is not yet out. I got a mail from them about 3 days ago stating that the processing of my application has not been straightforward hence they would need more time.
I work in a bank and I got all the necessary letters from HR, so I am amused that my application wud pend for this long. Now the issue is something came up recently and would need my international passport on the 6th of sept. What do I do house?

This is a very simple case that shud not be complicated at all...last week, it was Zenith, this week na skye bank. Thank God we have an account no in this case, it shud be easy to tell who truly owns the said account those huge funds was paid into.

I intend to apply for a UK visa in July, I work in a financial organisation where I earn close to 200k monthly. I have been working for the past 6years, I am married. What and what documents are required for a UK visa and what is the chance of getting one considering the fact that I have never travelled outside the country before.

i have neva done their interview b4 but i think u shud read up everytin about BAT and the Nigerian/world tobacco industry...Goodluk in ur interview......please any idea if every1 who passed the test has been called 4 interview or it in batch.
