Politics / Re: Genocide Reported In Kuru Village Of Jos by binatrix(m): 1:39pm On Feb 11, 2010
@ Yusufi, why dont you want to accept that killing by anyone is wrong even in the name of tribe or religion? why is it that the 2008 crisis was targeted against churches and christian homes (not only plateau indigenes)? why in 2008 crisis was INEC offce not attacked? why do you believe the propaganda of the media that only the hausa people are being killed? WHY??

the truth must be told and whether you accept it or not, the TRUTH can never be hidden. the good thing is that so far, Nigeria is still a country uphelp by a constitution not by any religious book so there is hope for change, peace and progress.

on the TRUTH i stand and am not taking sides on this matter. if its my brother that is guilty, let him then face the law of the land.

the TRUTH MUST BE TOLD and we all have no choice but to listen. Let God ARISE and let HIS Enemies be scattered.

on your view of the present governor of kano not being hausa or should i say not from kano state is possible because of the concept of "Almagiri", where kids are taken to another location to study under the supervision of scholar. some of these kids never make it back to thier state of origin so when they come of age, they claim the present location they are. i always ask myself, why is the concept only practiced in the North?

do you know that some days back, there was still fight in congo-russia area in jos?
Politics / Re: Genocide Reported In Kuru Village Of Jos by binatrix(m): 11:24pm On Feb 10, 2010
@ Yusufi, no one is in support of the killings in Jos town but get this message that other tribes such as Igbos, Yorubas etc also came to reside in Jos like the Hausas but why cant they live in harmony and go about getting thier daily bread like the igbos and yorubas and the tivs etc that came to settle in Jos?

even in the Lagos history, still recognises the original indigenes of Eko and thats where they get the Oba of Lagos from.
Politics / Re: Genocide Reported In Kuru Village Of Jos by binatrix(m): 8:30pm On Jan 28, 2010
@ Me_Aboki, trenchcoat and the house in general, am very, very sorry if i gave a misleading contribution but see this with me, firstly, i never mentioned religion in my writeup whether christian, muslims or traditionist so please dont turn it to a religious thing.

secondly, i live in kano wit my wife and kids, so any nigerian can lay claims to any region but i hail from benue state as my state of origin which i belive every Nigeria has a state of origin. please note, i DO NOT SUPPORT ETHNIC CLEANSING or SEGREGATION.

thirdly, your argument about acquring property in kano is true because i know i can acquire properties any where in kano but i say again NEVER in KANO City, i never said kano town but kano city. please note that.

fourthly, i agree Kano is very accomodating in accepting non-indigenes but i await the day an Igbo man or yoruba man will be governor in kano. that day i will beat the drum, gongo aso. lol

the truth is that the Nigerian constitution has a very good content but it is NEVER followed because of selfish interest of some people.

for Me_Aboki and trenchcoat, i raise my hat to u guys, i wish more nigerians will open up thier minds like u just did and contribute objectively to the development of our great nation without it leading to bloodshed.

thank you and God
Politics / Re: Genocide Reported In Kuru Village Of Jos by binatrix(m): 9:43pm On Jan 27, 2010
its really sad about the genocide in kuru as reported by al-jazeera. but religion is not the main issue in the Jos crisis as we are being made 2 believe. its about a group of people that feel they are born to rule in Nigeria. let me cite examples or clashes that have happened in Nigeria and they were never termed religious, such as: Ife/Modakeke crisis in Osun state, Tiv/Jukum crisis in Taraba state, Ijaw/Itsekiri crisis in Delta state, OPC/Hausa clash in Lagos etc. 4 all that care to believe, i reside in kano and i CAN NEVER dream of acquiring a property in Kano city or even some choice areas in the town such as Ahmadu bello way. the truth is that the hausas want to make the North thier own and its not possible, they have a state of origin so they should lay claim to thiers. On the street signs in Kano is a sign that reads "when in a state, do as the people do". the hausas are settlers in Jos and they should accept that fact. History is never wrong, the hausas came to settle in jos so they cant lay claim to the town just like i cant lay claim to anything in Kano.

to my hausa brothers in the house, lets learn to live in peace where u are and stop thinking u can colonise Nigeria.Go to Kano, Katsina, Bauchi, Gombe, Borno etc and lay claim to what u have

Religion / Re: Lovemaking After Traditional Wedding Only: Is This Fornication? by binatrix(m): 6:22pm On Jan 14, 2008
could not read all u guys wrote but from my own point of view, the trad is the main wedding. the reason for this is that it is when the man comes to the lady's house to ask of her hand in marriage from her parents as done by the servant of Abraham for Isaac and Isreal (both instances in the Holy Bible). any other thing after this is a ceremony. my church accepts traditional marriages and you can come to the church for the church blessing in the house of God. the only difference between the church blessing and church wedding is that the couples might not have the fan fare accompanying the church blessing but a man of God will still bless the union in the house of God in the presence of God and the children of God.
