Christianity EtcRe: Lovemaking After Traditional Wedding Only: Is This Fornication? by binatrix(m): 6:22pm On Jan 14, 2008
could not read all u guys wrote but from my own point of view, the trad is the main wedding. the reason for this is that it is when the man comes to the lady's house to ask of her hand in marriage from her parents as done by the servant of Abraham for Isaac and Isreal (both instances in the Holy Bible). any other thing after this is a ceremony. my church accepts traditional marriages and you can come to the church for the church blessing in the house of God. the only difference between the church blessing and church wedding is that the couples might not have the fan fare accompanying the church blessing but a man of God will still bless the union in the house of God in the presence of God and the children of God.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Its Not Fair What Banks Do To Hnd ,ond 3rd Class And Sometimes 2.2 by binatrix(m): 9:56am On Jan 05, 2007
rusky:
i beg to disagree with the two of you. for someone to have spent a minimum of 4 years in the university and end up with a third class shows that the person was not serious. how then does such a person hope to compete with others who did better? why does he want to have his cake and eat it? if employers were to shortlist them only to make sure that they don't make it, what purpose does it serve? will it not be a waste of the employer's resources? what percentage of 3rd class graduate are really that intelligent?
hello rusky, i would want to disagree with u on 3rd class products as being unserious when they were in school. if it were not neccessary, they would have made if from 2.2 to fail straight. for some reasons some people graduate with 3rd class from school and it might be due to unseriousness, intimidation, ignorance etc. i had a 3rd class from the university and though its been a rough road to climb when it comes to employment, i have come to realise, if u know ur worth, its not the 3rd class or 2.1 that makes u but ur skill, knowledge and knowhow. people that want u, will take u. i say again, it might not be easy because we hav competition but if u are good and u do somethings extra, then the sky is your limit. in my case, i had to go into IT since i had a degree in electrical/electronics engineering and i studied and passed some certifications(which showed me i was not dull afterall) and started work from the scratch as a computer instructor but to God be the glory, things are improving and am climbing the steps in the telecoms sector.

cheers and be careful how u judge people. dont judge a book by its cover my guy.

PoliticsRe: Atiku's Aide Shot Dead By Police by binatrix(m): 8:35am On Oct 03, 2006
guys, mistakes happen but when u are a trained professional, i can assure u mistakes would be at the barest minimum level. in the case of the nigerian police, their mistakes have been TOO much. u don't just shoot a guy because he brought out a pistol, u try to disarm him (i believe they go for trainings on man-to-man combat) or u shoot him somewhere like his leg or arm. killing him should be a last action where u hav no other optiion available to u. the story has many versions but knowing nigerian police well, whether he had identified himself or not, they would hav done their job (to kill him). its in nigeriia that police men shoot Army officers. lets open our eyes and see that this incident has confirmed that the nigerian police has lost it.

its so sad that victor is not alive today to tell us whether he pulled a gun out or not. like a police man once told me, a dead man cannot make a case.

thanks and God bless Nigeria.
