After February and Atiku has been elected, I think he should conduct the most reliable census that Africa has ever seen.. The problem will be, how can ethnic group be defined? Are Hausa speaking people regarded as one even though their ancestry differ? Are Edo, urhobo, isoko regarded as one even though their ancestry are the same but have different but similar culture? Are awori, ijebu, egun regarded as Yoruba? What about the ikwere, anioma, ekpeye? Are they Igbo or Edo?. Are berom regarded as northerners? Truly this issue need to be sought out. |
