Travel / Re: Why Are Canada & Australia Under-populated? by Bioboy1213(m): 10:39pm On Jan 23, 2017
RedCapChief:
I think the original poster has answered his own question. Most of these areas have terrible environmental conditions - Canada: intense cold; Australia: intense heat.
When you compare the population of Canada to its landmass, there is a huge gap.

That's why Canada and Australia have these funky immigration schemes that allow you to come over legally, populate their country and pay tax money in their coffers. If you are willing to live in Saskatchewan and hustle, then money will not be your problem.
The problem is that when these immigrants come, they flock to the same places as others - Toronto, Calgary et al.
truth.

with roughly 50-80k, you can secure a room in some sub-urban area like Kubwa, bwari, dutse, Jabi, Dawaki E.t.c.......then you start ur search for jobs.....which I believe you would get fast and easy by God,s grace.....all you need is to be smart and stay connected.

Please who knows or can advise what country one can consider for a fashion design program that wouldn't pose a visa denial problem. I have my first degree in management, I have a diploma in fashion design from Nigeria, but I really want to delve in the international fashion world.

Agriculture / Landmark University Partners With NASRDA On Agricultural Development. by Bioboy1213(m): 9:42pm On Oct 25, 2016
Landmark University (LMU) is partnering with the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) on agricultural development.
The institution and agency, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday on the use of space technology to boost agriculture, at the Space Centre in Abuja.
LMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Aize Obayan, who said the school is the first private tertiary institution to partner the Agency on research development in the area of agriculture, also said the MoU would assist the institution in deploying technology from the agency to enhance capacity in agriculture. is the data gathered from the space agency would also assist the institution in the areas of software, satellite, space application and agricultural development.
Obayan said: “We at LMU have a serious approach to driving agriculture. Food security is something we take seriously. We must do agriculture differently from the way it has always been done. “To boost food security is beyond doing agriculture the way it has always been done, this is from a scientific, mechanised and automated perspective and as such, we need information about weather condition, we need information about the seasons and a lot of other issues that always arise in the course of agricultural development and are controlled from the centres embedded in NASRDA.”
The academic said: “This is very key as the university is looking at how to break new grounds in attaining new frontiers in agricultural development. The emphasis of government on agriculture now is central, considering that oil has failed the nation.”
NASRDA Director-General, Saidu Mohammed, said the agency would support Landmark in its drive to develop agriculture.
He said: “Space technology remains the only means to drive businesses and achieve better results. Space technology remains the technology of choice. It is the driver of business, it is the driver of most government activities and we believe working with you in several areas will go a long way in enhancing the capacity and the capability of your university.
