asha 80: People criticize me whenever i say this. . . . .I feel the footballers of these dayz on the average are less skillful and technical but are have more power and pace when compared to players of 70s and 80s. Sauron i agree with you hes been outstanding |

Music/Radio › Re: Reuben Abati Vs Banky W: A Must Read! by biolabee(m): 7:29pm On Jun 25, 2009 |
very interesting topic i read the article and the replies twice and all the responses my observations
1. The topic in question is one which is dear to tht heart of our generation as it is one of the areas where we have éxcelled
2. Mr Abati though factually wrong in certain of his comments is wrong to blame the identity crisis on this present youth as these has predated us ala SAP, june 12 bla bla
3. Mr Abati is right in that indigenous Nigerian music has been subsumed into the phenomenon called hiphop
4. Banky's response sweet
5. Eldee (not so sweet) but if you accuse a man for putting food on his table, u asked for it
6. As Sauron righly noted, there is rubbish in hiphop across the world like me i dont listen to lil wayne (apart from a few of his collabos) but men pple love that guy, thats cool everyman's fish is anothers poison
7. There is variety in the world and thr pple have spoken they love dbanj, timaya, p2 etc and it is being supported by money for these guys.
8. We have the opportunity to observe this social experiment. in another 20 years will pple remember dbanj etc time will tell |

malaika: RSA, wa ntlatsa joe
I used to hate the vuvuzela with a passion coz it meant the demise of great sports songs like shosholoza and 'niyabasaba na' , still not sure if I'm a vuvuzela fan as yet but I don't hate it as much, guess I'm slowly converting hopefully in time for 2010
keep up the good work, siyabangena thanks for being real malaika the vuvuzela is a cultural instrument and as such shd not be banned but there are also other aspects of the atmosphere such as the chants, dances and taunts this seems to be lacking in the drone of phorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lets see the zulus, xhosas and all that abeg |

RSA dont let the pain of your loss to spain translate into more racial slurs the success of the world cup depends on visitors and tourists (yes nigerians!) as a lot of my friends and hopefully myself will be in SA next year to watch stuff your team played very well (parker, pienaar and booth) but did not take their chances. i think u paid too much respect to the spainish team in the final 3rd if naija does not go, it does not mean we will not support the african reps in the mundial pls lets not bring any xenophobia in football
after the mundial the xeno phobia can start again |
