Crime / A Business Man Robbed And Killed By Ritualists by biridon(m): 6:45am On Apr 02, 2017
Determined to get rich at all cost, four men connived to rob, kill and dispossessed a businessman of his N10million. The four suspects, Tunde Jimoh 37, Gbenga Babalade 40, Abubakar Agboola, 65, an herbalist and Olatunji Ahmed 42, an herbalist and a Muslim cleric, after killing the victim, Stephen Oyeyemi Akintoye 33, were angry to discover that the money with him was just N100, 000.

Disappointed for not getting their hands on the N10 million, they decided to cut off Akintoye’s head, removed his heart and dismembered other parts of his body for money ritual. One of the suspects, Jimoh said: “I decided to shoot Akintoye in order to rob him of the N10m we believed he had in his bag. Akintoye was Gbenga brother’s friend.

When we checked his bag, we discovered only N100,000 cash, books and clothes instead of N10 million.” The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mr Abiodun Odude, said that the fall of the suspects started after Akintoye’s wife reported that her husband didn’t return home after leaving for a business transaction with Gbenga’s brother. Police arrested those believed to be connected to the crime.

The suspects were arrested by the Anti- Kidnapping Squad. Akintoye was murdered on February 24, 2017. During investigation, the number of those arrested was whittled down to four.

The police explained: “The deceased came to buy cashew nuts from Gbenga’s brother on a large scale, but was shot by Tunde Jimoh. They wanted to rob him of his N10 million, which they thought he had in his bag. They, however, found only N100, 000.

They were angry and frustrated. Since there was no N10 million, they decided to go back to their initial plan. The initial plan was to become rich through money ritual. They dismembered Akintoye’s corpse; they removed his heart, severed his head, hands and legs and took all the parts to herbalists. The herbalists had earlier promised to prepare a money-making charm for Gbenga to improve his cashew nuts trade.”

Items recovered from the suspects include; one short single barrel gun, one long single barrel gun, two live cartridges, two expended live cartridges, an axe, three knives, the deceased’s car key, hand bag, sandal, belt, one unregistered motorcycle, one bottle of Aromatic Schnapps, N40,000 and different kinds of charms. The content of the Schnapps is alleged to preserve the severed body parts.

Other exhibits recovered are severed heart of the deceased, two severed wrists and a headless body. Jimoh said that the deceased’s head was rejected by the herbalists, who instructed him to throw it into a river.

Jimoh said: “My friend Gbenga informed me that he wanted to do money-making charm, so that the cashew nut business he is doing with his brother would flourish. This took us to Baba Agboola. Baba Agboola took us to Alfa Olatunji. When Alfa told us the charm would require a human heart, I told him I would get it.

“When Akintoye said he was coming to pay Gbenga’s brother N10 million business money, Gbenga informed me. We planned to rob him; if we collect the N10m, there wouldn’t be any need for money ritual.

On sighting Akintoye with his big bag, I told Gbenga that we should kill him and take the money. As I was about to shoot him, he pleaded that I shouldn’t kill him. He said he was ready to part with the money. I shot him and he died there.

I shot him because he would recognise and get us into trouble. “When we finally checked his bag, we found only N100,000 instead of the expected N10 million.

It was that disappointment that led us back to our earlier plan of money ritual. We went back to the bush where we killed Akintoye. We removed his heart and other parts of his body. We took the parts to the herbalists.

They asked us to go and throw away the head. They preserved the parts in a bottle of Aromatic Schnapps.” The commissioner of police said that the suspects would be charged for offences of conspiracy, armed robbery, murder and ritual killing.

Politics / Re: What Is The Difference Between 'Gift' And 'Bribe' - Ben Murray-Bruce Asks by biridon(m): 8:27am On Feb 23, 2017
"BRIBE" is when PDP gives GIFT.
"GIFT" is when APC gives BRIBE.
Example: If Judas were in APC, the 30 pieces of silver he received would have been a GIFT.

Politics / Memo To My President : The Thief Catcher by biridon(m): 4:40am On May 17, 2016
MEMO TO MY PRESIDENT, THE THIEF CATCHER...
My dear Mr. President,
Rankadede sir.
There is always this sense of excitement from your supporters whenever they hear that someone (always from the opposition) has been invited by EFCC. They go overdrive whenever figures are mentioned.
Let me make it clear: I am 100% in support of you if you go after those who were awarded contracts and collected money without working. I will be your anti-corruption ambassador if you go after service chiefs who diverted money meant for their services. I support you if you go after banks who aided money laundering. I am your man if you go after those itchy fingers at FIRS. Or those who collected defence contracts and subsidy claims and ran away. BUT YOU CAN NEVER BE MY GUY WITH THIS YOUR PROBING OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS. You know why? You are GUILTIER than those you are pursuing!
It is not only immoral, but against law of natural fairness for you who publicly announced that you borrowed money to buy your nomination form, but ran a campaign of hundred of billions of naira. Where did your money come from? Lets tell you certain things which you pretend not to know about.
* When Akin Ambode resumed as governor of Lagos State, the total money he reportedly met in ALL Lagos State bank accounts was a paltry N850m! It was the lowest in recent memory. Not that alone. Capital budget for the fiscal year had been executed up to 85%! Yet, that was just FIVE months to the year. We only saw capital spending without capital projects. If they present these facts before you, you cannot deny you don't know where these monies went to.
*Rivers State has been complaining over almost N100b missing few months to the end of one of your minister's tenure as governor. Invite Wike over and you will hear ween!
* Each state being ruled by your party was taxed to contribute to your campaign. Depending on the strength of their treasuries. But they tried to outdo themselves. Sir, can you swear by Allah that you don't know why many states could not pay salaries today? Ask your campaign treasurer! And also banks they took overdrafts from!
* One of your ministers today, who is seen as agents of change, actually took N1b bank loan to prosecute a second term election he lost in 2014. If you are keen at probing campaign funds, sit him down and ask how he intends to pay back. As I write this, the loan is still pending!
* There are couple of banks and oil service companies who contributed to your campaign funding too. Your EFCC has pretended as if it is not aware.
Politicians know themselves. They know how they fund campaigns. It is public funds. Contracts are inflated or outrightly not carried out. Funds are diverted. Banks play their own role. Contractors key in. On the eve of election, banks overwork themselves. From minister/commissioner down to special assistants, cash is provided for them to go and prosecute elections in their areas. These runs into billions. Is that acceptable? NO! BUT THAT WAS HOW YOUR OWN ELECTION WAS PROSECUTED TOO.
I learnt you turned the blind eye when all these were going on. You jettisoned your long held personal principle not to have anything to do with thieves. After winning election and assuming office, you wanted to pick that principle again and expect someone like me to hail you? No sir! Lailai!
Since you saw nothing wrong in people stealing to run your own campaign, you have no moral justification to go after those who equally stole to run their own campaigns too. Public funds are public funds, either in Abuja or Lagos!
Assurances of my highest regards! Say me well to the First Lady. #copied.
