mcyemite: i think it still a bit doable a when the farming is on a small scale, watering it is a bit easier and rain has been consistent this days, infact there has been more rainy days than sunny days since transplanting...those with drip tapes have had their tapes useless for some weeks now..i hope i will be able to afford drip tapes and layflat from proceeds of this harvest...thank you Op,how is it going with your tomatoes without using irrigation..it's been 14days since we last saw rainfall here,I hope newbie farmers understand the need to have drip irrigation installed first, guarantees that your plants will always have water...sorry,I had to come back to this |

Arsenal will surely overcome these fixtures,we have a coach that understands the game. Partey availability will also be crucial, both matches we lost to city, partey was absent...if we can maintain our squad and no fresh injuries, the EPL is ours to lose |

sotall:

How much is CEO making in Nigeria compared to cleaning yansh abroad?
If you cant do the work, come back to Nigeria where the government frustrate your business with their bad policies..
Remember a person cleaning yansh abroad lives better and earns better than a bank manager or professor in Nigeria Naso una dey always talk this rubbish,do you know how comfortable and worthwhile life the professor and bank manager will be in Nigeria. Do you think it's reasonable to be washing bum bum for another person, guy be careful what U ask for. U can't be spending millions of naira on traveling and be washing yanch as a job .. it's denigrating |

Avuu2204: I did a field nursery with Platinum F1 on Feb. 22nd and I sprayed insecticide/fungicide on the bed prior to planting the seeds.
Noticed that half of the seeds did not germinate. Have you ever experienced this with nursery beds? I was wondering what could’ve gone wrong because I didn’t experience that when we used to plant local varieties.
Could this mean the soil type won’t sustain Platinum F1 if transplanted? Op,Yes, you are right, hybrid seeds especially the modern ones do not do well on raised bed nursery, best bet is to get a tray, and buy a good potting soil,or original Coco peat and nurse them with these mediums. As d world is getting modernised,so also is farming been modernised. Buy a new seed pack, and get a potting soil, and plant your hybrid seeds there. Our own local seeds are much more suited to the raised bed nursery, likewise if U plant local seeds with potting soil,U might experience sparse germination too |

Op...there's a lot of money to be made in farming, agriculture is not a get rich quick scheme, there's a lot of learning curve that can get u frustrated most times, but the ability to arise above this struggles is what will give u returns.. My advice is ,plant the plantain, manage them properly, and from there u can learn the tricks. In future,u can diversify your enterprise, from having short term crops,to midterm, and long-term. But don't expect quick returns, agriculture is not a get rich quick scheme |
