Politics › Re: 2019: PDP Governor Plots With Buhari’s Men - Tribune by bishopkay: 10:35pm On Feb 25, 2018
I guess they are talking about Wike being the governor from the south south, Mamman Duara and Abba Kyari been the president's men and Amaechi as the "loose cannon" cheesy grin

Wishful thinking by the APC rodents though and if the PDP national ever subscribe to this and let it happen, they'd be the ones who finally buried themselves after APC gave them the ghastly shot in 2015 because they would NEVER recover and out goes opposition in Nigeria!

Buhari being the APC flag bearer is the surest way to kick the dullard outta Aso Rock. They have no choice... Buhari is the only binding effect in that party so it's currently like been stuck with 2 bad choices. grin grin

This is the longest fuel scarcity since Nigeria gained independence....

Very soon, it won't be Buhari must go, it would be Buhari must die....

Buhari has taken Nigerians 30 years backward...
My brother you are very correct here! I love what this government did though to Nigerians... They gave hot blows to Nigerians all at the same time from different angles and corners so Nigerians didn't even know the one to protest against. grin cheesy

Today it's Maina gate, tomorrow it's money eating animals, hunger in the land, non payment of salaries etc. Nigerians had the power to go protest at every given chance during GEJ's tenure because at least, they had access to food. With this government, it's 1 week multiple troubles and Nigerians just know their only parlance would be to vote out the rudderless man and party away.

Imagine fuel scarcity for 3 months and counting now. People are buying fuel at 180 like its the new official price plus claims of subsidies being paid without even the slightest of reactions from Nigerians. I used to think APC used a charm on Nigerians but nay hunger did!

Where are their useless zombies who litter NL with threads on how the dullard and his useless party have defeated Boko Haram?

Anyways what do I know? Boko Haram just pulled another stunt or would rather say job, that would see them earn millions in foreign exchange again plus release of the scum of the scum of their commanders!

This is how this government tacitly supports the terror reign of Boko Haram to continue but Like I said earlier, what do I know?

But you promote PDP.

By the way, where did you get the 80% from?

I don't promote PDP. As a matter of speaking, go through my posts here and you'd see I'm one of the worst critics of the PDP in my home state. But when it comes to national politics, I try to be very objective in my reasoning which most of you APC supporters lack!

I can't go to a state like Lagos for example and criticize Ambode; neither can I go to a state like Gombe and criticize Dakouambo. These men are doing great for their states and they are both APC and PDP respectively.

But on the national level, APC being led by buhari is a failure! Buhari is a failed leader and only people who are either tribally blinded or have something to benefit directly from him still support him.

Never has Nigeria been this divided along multiple lines as it is now. Buhari has divided this country along regional, tribal, partisan and religious lines and there has never been as much tension and hate against each other as it is now in Nigeria, since the civil war. Worse is he doesn't even care. For Nigeria to heal, buhari has to go either willingly or through the polls.

This is free political education you just lectured so called APC supporters.

If you ask them where APC derived from. They start blaming registered political labels and political opponents unnecessary.
My brother it's just a sad thing they never want to learn.

APC's using the same old rhetoric they used to drive themselves into power. They are running tests on their propaganda machines to see if Nigerians would still be hooked on it. They are campaigning subtly and attacking PDP again like they are the opposition and Nigerians are wanting to buy into their propaganda again.

What even pains me more is PDP media team seems to be asleep with these attacks going on. Yesterday it was Lai Mohammed, today it's Pat Utomi. Shots are been fired, Yet no response from the main opposition party in Nigeria. 91 girls are missing from Yobe and the main opposition party's media team in the country is yet to call a press briefing.

While I don't subscribe to playing politics with human life and welfare, APC set the precedence and they should be paid back with same. Every action whatever taken to rid Nigeria of APC is a well thought out and patriotic action; I call it patriotism at its peak!

Bro u lack common sense, for the fact u have the privilege to comment where normal and sane people are commenting is not enuf reason for u not to use ur brain there is a different between political parties and individuals.
No matter the good will u have in politics, u can't never exceed the structure and plan of the party that produces u. That's why political party is been mentioned here and not individual. Next time think well because we all know same people run from PDP to APC
You are actually the senseless one here bro and I don't know just how mature you think you are to even discuss politics... Every kid who can read newspapers these day think they are political analysts. It's quite a sorry situation kids like you can just anonymously speak and dump ur thrashed reasoning here.

So now you know there is difference between Party and individuals abi? LOL. Who makes up the political party? Is it not individuals? Is it the party that steals and commit acts of impunity or the individuals who make up the party?

Are there no honourable men in even the corrupt APC and PDP of today? So if I stole as a member of PDP and then cross to APC, I automatically stop being kleptomaniac abi? When a house falls who feels pained or ashamed? The house or the owner of the house? A political party is an inanimate "vehicle" driven by individuals to achieve a set goal so it's People who make up parties and it's them and their decisions, direct and indirect actions that either make or marr that party.

So I still stand on my point... APC has no moral ground to lambast PDP of destroying the country when they have 80% membership of people who were former PDP big wigs. The PDP whom they claimed destroyed the country is what morphed majorly into the APC of today because it's same individuals who are there.

Now who's the sane one between us both?

A question for you...was Babachir grasscutter ever in the pdp? Did it stop him from stealing while your vegetable president looked the other way? Many other examples abound...

Are you OK? Seriously are you people really OK? Who's PDP and Who's APC? This PDP destroyed Nigeria for 16 years rhetoric is stale! Very stale and only sensible people know that.

80% of the big wigs in APC today are all former PDP members who were in power during the "16 years of misrule" including El rufai so what are you saying?

Receive sense my guy and don't let APC's propaganda machine catch u napping. Don't forget this was the same rhetoric they rode on to power. They have failed and they are trying to bring up same carrier if it could ride them to power again; already campaigning subtly but sensible Nigerians say NO!

[s]The man is saying the truth.

Look closely at the calibre of people claiming to be the redeemed of the nation. What is their antecedent? What businesses or organizations have they run and what was their level of success in doing So?

It's strange how the narrative had moved quickly from the economy to security, from infrastructure to Fulani Herdsmen.

I said on another thread, that the Fulani Herdsmen saga is being stoked by fifth columinists and those who actually perpetuated it. I asked for instance, how Nnamdi Kanu foretold of it, if he himself wasn't privy to it? Does he have spiritual powers? As far as I know it, no man can tell what lies tomorrow, especially about a crime to be perpetrated in future if he himself was not involved one way or the other.

Someone corrected me and claimed there were Fulani Herdsmen issues before this government took over - and there I rest my case.

In Nigeria, the saints are made to look evil whilst the villains are celebrated.

The stability of the Naira, the increase in external reserves, the improvement in power supply and the infrastructural development presently being witnessed should have been enough for this government to rest.

The enemies of state know this and so the 1st of January, 2018 heralded a pick up in violence associated with "Fulani Herdsmen".[/s]
What truth is he saying? What's buhari's own antecedent? From the very beginning, I knew he had nothing to offer... A former head of state who has no library to his name, no book to his name, heck even no borehole at Duara to his credit. A man who said Abacha never stole a dime, a man whose economic policies brought the nation to its feet in his first unfortunate spate as HOS and repeated the same feat again.

At least Atiku has a thriving business which has and continues to provide employment for thousands of people in the country! Now he may not be my best choice for a candidate but pair him with buhari at the polls and I'd vote him twice if possible. Here is a man who's not a religious/tribal fanatic, he's exposed and nepotism doesn't seem to have a place with him.

Again I ask what's buhari's antecedent? Seriously you want to blame Nnamdi Kanu for Fulani herdsmen? How senselessly low can you go again? Even a toddler who can read the signs well could see it coming! Stability of the naira? Seriously? shocked the naira has never been so battered. They claim external reserves keep growing but can you feel it in the economy? Increase in power yet our national grid has collapsed more than 10 times between November 2017 and today? Massive infrastructural developments one is yet to see? Except perhaps the ones which where already 70% completed he inherited from the last government. He has consecutively for 3 years now ran the highest budget in the Nigerian history, yet nothing on ground! Paper achievements everywhere yet y'all scream for joy and shout Sai baba with your cheap phones

Nigeria needs a builder and some one who can unite us across tribe, region and religion and buhari simply doesn't cut that part!

I beg to differ Mr Lai! I also think I speak for many Nigerians when I say we prefer to give the country to "destroyers" who at least don't have nepotistic tendencies and cluelessness ingrained in them. At least they'd be there to comfort victims of the endless bloodshed this government continues to play politics with.

They didn't lie to us Boko Haram was technically defeated yet continued attack military formations and universities. They didn't pay billions in a swap deal which also involved them releasing all the Boko Haram commanders in custody (you think they couldn't have taken this easy part?). They weren't perfect but we had it better under them than you.

You always say PDP did this, PDP did that; yet you would never reject any of them who crosses over to your party! APC is made up 70% of former PDP chieftains so what changed? Keep a yam with a goat and the goat must always eat the yam. There have been so many indictments of corrupt practices under people of this government yet with how they scream anti corruption, no one has been charged to court even with glaring evidences.

You people have reduced this country to where our security apparatuses have all become partisan! An organization in a country threatened a state governor and his people, made good their threat, yet no one was arrested... Your IG tagged it communal clash, your police PRO called the governor a drowning man on live TV, yet no one lost his job.

Again, I beg to differ Mr Lai. You and your party with the evil relic you have at aso rock as president have failed this country and are the real DESTROYERS here and Nigeria as a matter of urgency has to be salvaged from y'all. I know many political prostitutes amongst you would cross carpet again but at least the head who we plan to give the country to lead, wouldn't be a rotten head as Buhari!

docadams:
The President is not under any obligation for financial disclosure of the cost of his treatment. Whoever that wants to know must be wishing to be afflicted by same illness.

Modified

In medicine, there is this phenomenon called patient-docyor relationship. Except you can show that all that is related to the illness affects you one way or the other, you cannot seek knowledge about the illness. The constitution realises this hence there was no provision for such disclosure. That you have internet and unwarranted freedom doesn't give you the right to troll our President on such personal issues.
You are very wrong in your assertion. The patient-doctor confidential or privileges entails non-disclosure of illness or cause of illness by THE DOCTOR, not expenses spent treating the illness by whoever paid for it and in this case, the Nigerian tax payers.

The CBN was simply asked to provide details/records of monies spent on his illness and the parking /hanger space cost of the jet which was parked for over 3 months in another country attracting doumorage daily.

Are the CBN officials doctors? No; so they can't provide details of his sickness; but in the same vein, they are in charge of the nation's purse and financial records... So providing such records is actually very necessary in their position. Understand something before you comment before all this bad mouthed nairaland people use mouth lick u finish

Incoherent.

You don't care about our choice and you also think your worthless advice is needed.

Your post which i first responded to has given you away.

You are just a young man who's afraid of the future.

You don't also know the right

quaters/ people to vent your frustration on hence you are blaming Tinubu and the great yoruba tribe in advance.

The fact that you think our choice can make or mar your life will not deter us from exercising our right.

TINUBU/YORUBAS ARE FREE TO SUPPORT ANY ASPIRANT JUST AS YOUR UNKNOWN TRIBE AND UNKNOWN PEOPLE ARE ALSO FREE TO SUPPORT ANY CANDIDATE.

Instead of worrying yourself over Tinubu/yoruba's choice, you can
gather the elders and leaders of your tribe and lecture them about 2019 elections and tell them whom they should vote for.

I think that will be a verry pleasant thing to do, and believe me they'll appreciate you so much.
See them jumping on my mentions but I particularly care more about yours. Correction I am a young man quite alright but scared of the future? No I am not cos I'm made and probably richer than you, when you were my age. Ask the few who know me on this forum.

I am only scared for the future this country holds for the youths who are not so lucky as I am.

Now back to the topic, I have kept saying it... You people have the right to choose whom you want to follow... But know that the decisions of you the fathers come back to either help or destroy the future of their children. Cos from the general view of your fellow tribesmen they simply want to vote buhari not because he has anything to offer but cos they simply want to spite the people who are saying "we told you".

The choice of Tinubu or Yoruba shouldn't be your headache if truely you people are republicans as you are portryaing your tribe to us.

Everyone has the right to choose what he/she wants for him/herself.

And If you people think Tinubu/yoruba has no freedom to exercise their right and choose what they want for themselves, then you people are FOOLISH AND HOPELESSLY STUPID .
Anyone is free to follow Buhari and anyone is free to oppose him, this is what Democracy is all about.
Stop acting as if your destiny is in the hands of the yoruba people.
Bros Yoruba people can go to hell for all I care; they can vote a pig I don't give a fučk... And Mind you, I'm not an Igbo man because everyone who tries to make you DUNCES listen to the voice of reason immediately gets tagged ipob and what have you.

You even deviated seriously from the question on ground... Now listen; You and Tinubu have the right to exercise yourselves and vote whom you choose but it becomes foolishness when because Tinubu says he wants to support a stone, y'all go all zombie and support that stone too without weighing your own decisions.

Dude go through history... cult like followership only ever benefited the leader never the followers. So no ones fate relies on the Yorubas, rather we that are more exposed and open minded are asking y'all to use your God given brains and for once do something honourable for yourselves and family, rather than follow a man who's next 10 generations would never be poor while you suffer the consequences of the direct and indirect decisions you made by following the band wagon.

Cutting your nose to spite your face only makes you hurt more

If the Yoruba people who claim to be sophisticated in politicking still follow Tinubu to this ditch he's leading them to, then I'd know they are perpetually foolish.

Y'all screamed and supported buhari to victory during the last polls. He visited the country including you with sufferings, miscarriage of our justice system and deep rooted nepotism. Yet y'all want to make that same mistake again because you hate a particular region of the country. Clap for yourselves!

No one has a right to influence my vote...be you man, woman or god IDGAF! I vote my mind based on my angst against the current situation of things. Be wise people... Be wise. The man called Tinubu simply desires political patronage. It's time we retired these selfish old Mofos forever.

I seriously get scared whenever I think how this country would be in 10 years or 20 years time. What's the future of the youths in this contraption?
