Aregbesola Will Not Sell Helicopter To Pay Workers- APC The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State, Mr. Gboyega Famodun, has reiterated that the governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola will not sell the state helicopter to pay salaries of public workers. Public outcry has greeted the inability of Aregbesola to pay workers in the state since 2014 while the opposition, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has urged him to sell the helicopter in order to reduce cost and upset some of the bills. However, during a press conference in Osogbo on Monday, Famodun, described the PDP as ignorant. “On the question of helicopter, the opposition recently gave an unsolicited advice to the state government, asking it to sell its surveillance helicopter. It was an uninformed call. You will all recall the spate of armed banditry in the state prior to our coming. “The helicopter cost N500m and it was paid for in five instalments. With these measures in place, you now know the difference. However, the helicopter was practically disabled by the Federal Government itself. “Before the surveillance machine was bought, the governor built a state-of-the-art Call Centre that was to operate with a special security code. The FG-controlled NCC refused till today to provide the special code for the helicopter to be linked with ground equipment for surveillance. Thus the surveillance helicopter was effectively disabled. “The chopper was however put on lease and it is making money for the state and only recalled for use as the need arises. It is one of the sound financial decisions made by the government. We cannot but marvel at the ignorance and mischief of those calling for the sale of the helicopter and the quality of the thinking of those asking government to dispose of an instrument being used for the security of the citizens,” he said. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/aregbesola-will-not-sell-helicopter-to-pay-workers-apc/#sthash.c3WPlruB.dpuf |

Nigeria is ranked the worst country in terms of forest conservation. This is not funny at all. The Southwest is the worst followed by the SE in terms of forest conservation. UncleJudax:leave that fool. These days on NL hardly a day goes by with one yoruba trying to instigate divisions between the Niger Delta people and the Igbos as if there was anytime the Igbos have offended the ND people. We know how they insulted Jonathan because they thought him being from a minority tribe is not fit to be President. We know who oppose the establishment of a container port in the Niger Delta We know the hypocrites who shout resource control but when it comes to oil they will turn mute. We know the Nigerian staff of foreign oil companies who stood against any move to appease the indigenes with respect to employment, community development and environmental safety. The Yorubas as I usually say are harmless as an enemy but treacherous as a friend. Let them come to the Delta and see how they are considered traitors by the ND people. |

This is not funny but sad and dangerous. This shows unchecked deforestation. Anytime I flew from Lagos to Abuja, I cringe! The rain forest is disappearing in the southwest due to the greed of their useless governors who have sold their forests to Chinese lumber firms. |
Going by geopolitical nomenclature determined by the 1999 constitution which replaced regions by zones, the "South-South" rubish was created. This is the only region in Nigeria which is referred to as the Niger Delta (excluding Edo). There is no such thing in geography called south south. Show me where north-north or west-west is. |

From the original video posted by the janjawiid OP this is what I could discern: 1. The video was captured by a surveillance drone in IR mode and not an Helicopter gun ship. If it were a helicopter gunship then why was the chopper not engaging them on ground? 2. The video showed infantry and light vehicle movement. 3. The light skinned vehicles probably had anti-air guns mounted on their flat back. 4. There were some militias riding on motor bikes. 5. The infantry and vehicle movement where not in one direction which points to the militia flanking in two directions with one major putsch through composed primarily of light vehicles. This was not a retreat but an attack. |
fulanimafia:Fool, that video came from a stationary drone. If it were a helicopter gunship then why was the chopper not engaging them on ground? This is pure propaganda as there is nothing to indicate that ISWAP militias where retreating but everything points to them Mobilizing. |
Fleeing or mobilizing? The video was taken from a drone with no attack capabilities. Nothing in that video showed that they were fleeing but rather showed them mobilizing. |

he Daily Mail reported that on January 25 that Adil Rashid, a Muslim child molester and rapist was spared of punishment by UK court, because of his Muslim upbringing. According to the newspaper: adil-rashid-uk-pedophile-rapist My Islamic upbringing teaches women are just "lollipops" & no problem with raping little girls Adil Rashid admitted to travelling to Nottingham and having sex with the 13-year-old girl He met the girl on Facebook and they communicated by texts and phone for two months before they met He was educated in a madrassa and 'had little experience of women' Said he had been taught 'women are no more worthy than a lollipop that has been dropped on the ground' He accused the girl of ‘tempting’ to have sex with her It is fundamental to our justice system that differing cultural ethos or ignorance about a law cannot be used as a defense for breaking the law. In Islamic perspectives, Adil Rashid is a good, moral, devout Muslim and he was only following the Islamic cultural ethos, shaped by the divine Islamic teachings of raping kafir women. In the eyes of Islamic God, Kafir women are no better than lollipops, dropped on the ground for Muslim pick and lick. As will be shown, Adil Rashid understands the Quran well and has followed in the footsteps of Muhammad, who was a child molester, rapist, murderer, terrorist, torturer, slaver. Allah in his infinite wisdom and divine genius has created two categories of Homo sapiens women: Kafir women and Muslim women. A kafir woman has absolutely no humanity. Allah has granted Muslim men the full right to murder her husband, father, brother, boy friend and then capture her sex-slave and rape, no matter what her age. Muslims can then keep the kafir woman/child as his sex-slave or sell her into slavery. In Islam, these are all holy acts to be rewarded by accession to a virgin delight Paradise. The second greatest crime a man can commit against a woman is to rape her (murder being the greatest crime). In Islam, rape is not only a sexual weapon, but also a weapon of war. Having murdered the kafir women’s male relatives, Muslims can now complete their final humiliation by dominating her body – all with the divine sanction of Allah. Rape in manners like this is not only the ultimate humiliation, it also instils fear and subjugation in the kafir. In the eternal evil laws of Allah, apart from taking 4 wives, Muslim men are allowed to practice polygamy, but they may also allowed to capture Kafir women as slaves and rape them. Quran 4.24 “(prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.” Quran 23.1-6: “Successful indeed are the believers, who…, And who guard their private parts, Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable.” Note the term “whom your right hand possess”, which means slaves. Rape of the captured female slaves is also sanctified in verses 4:3, 4:25, 24:33, 70:29-35, 33:50-52, and others. Horrible as it is, Allah not only permits slavery, He sanctifies their harvest by waging war against the Kafirs and permits, as a holy duty, the sheer horror of unremitting rape of the captured women. And Prophet Muhammad – a symbol of perfection for Muslim at all time – did exactly that: he waged war against the Jewish tribes of Banu Quraiza (627) and Banu Mustaliq (627), the Jews of Khaibar (628), and later the Pagans of Hawazin – and from all these unprovoked raids, Muhammad captured their wealth. The captive women were subjected to rape. So, it is obvious that Islam, which as a complete code of life for Muslims, dominating all aspects of life – social, cultural and economic – sanctified rape of kafir women as a cultural practice, and it has been in practice throughout its history from the days of Prophet Muhammad onward. Therefore, one must not be surprised when Adil Rashid said, he had been taught that 'women are no more worthy than a lollipop that has been dropped on the ground'. Neither is it surprising that he claimed to not knowing that having sex with under-age girls is a crime – when Prophet Muhammad started sexually molesting Aisha by thighing when she was six-year old and had sex with her when she turned 9. The Quran has allows having sex with girls of any age (see Quran 65:4). What Adil Rashid did is perfectly fine with Islam, indeed, it is rather expected of Muslims in order to comply with their holy and the truest religion. Interesting, justice system in Western countries has also started accepting Islam as the only true and inviolable religion, which must serve as the guide to legal processes. |

The sun was setting as a shadow began to blanket the rolling sand dunes. Dry wood crackled on a bright orange fire, a blackened coffee pot sat by the glowing coals and sweet dates, sticky to the touch, were passed around. It was a beautiful, peaceful scene, soon to be interrupted. “You’re reckless,” one of the young men said to me. He said that it was dangerous to drive into the desert with a group of Saudi men we did not know well. He said we were lucky to have been invited by someone who was honest and trustworthy. Otherwise he said, we might have been attacked. “The way a Saudi would think is ‘What is this girl doing here alone?’ If you are with a man, you better be his sister or his wife.” That was Fahd’s explanation. He was 26 years old. He was seated on one side of the fire, the glow of the flames dancing across his face. “Quiet, you are scaring them,” said the friend who took us to the desert. Perhaps this was a bit of male bonding, of young guys showing off to the foreigners. But the tone was casual, the looks casual, the whole conversation amazingly casual. The Egyptian woman asked how he would treat us if we had not been introduced by our friend. “What would you do if we were with someone else?” she asked. “I would get rid of him and try something with you,” he replied. “Not rape, I would try to do something, to get you to do something.” “And if I said no?” she asked. “Then I would rape you.” That was it. None of the other young men seemed surprised, or sounded an objection. Would he really do it? Probably not. And neither would the other young men there, the ones who quietly nodded. But no one said “just kidding.” What they said was that this was a serious possibility we needed to be aware of. They acknowledged that rape was against their religion, but as a sin, they put it in the same category as a woman working with a man in the desert trying to understand young Saudi men. ‘Ninety percent of Saudis would think it is not right,” Fahd said. “An Egyptian girl with an American man, or a girl alone, what is she doing here?” |

fagbalex:Sudanese woman sentenced to lashes, fine for wearing trousers https://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/150814102951-sudanese-woman-lashing-exlarge-169.png A young Christian woman has been sentenced by a court in Sudan to 20 lashes and a fine for "indecent dress," her lawyer said. Her crime? Wearing trousers. Fardos Al-Toum, age 19, was one of 10 young women students arrested outside a church in Khartoum on June 25 for wearing jeans and long shirts, according to the group's lawyer, Muhamad Mustafa. When Al-Toum showed up to court to answer the charge, the judge said the clothing she was wearing then was also indecent and sentenced her to an additional fine, plus 20 lashes, the lawyer said. Mustafa said he had lodged an appeal against the lashes, but it is still pending, with no scheduled decision at the moment. Five of the women were ordered to pay fines. Two of them, including Al-Toum, had to pay 500 Sudanese pounds (about $82) and three were told to pay 50 pounds. Four of them were cleared of the charge and immediately released. One other is due to stand trial on Sunday. Rights group Amnesty International has started an online campaign in the United Kingdom asking people to add their name to a letter to the Sudanese authorities in support of Al-Toum. More than 40,000 people have already done so. "Flogging and other forms of corporal punishment should never be used as punishment -- they constitute torture, and should not be inflicted as part of a justice system," the rights group said. "Moreover, these women have committed no crime -- they have instead been subjected to random, vaguely worded, discriminatory laws." According to Amnesty International UK, the women were accused of violating Article 152 of Sudan's 1991 Criminal Act, which forbids "indecent or immoral dress" and carries a punishment of up to 40 lashes and a fine. Although the law can be applied equally to men or women, the rights group says, in practice "it is disproportionately women who are discriminated against" under it. The women arrested outside the Evangelical Baptist Church in Khartoum North are aged from 17 and 23, and come from the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan state, where many of Sudan's Christian minority live, Amnesty International said. The vast majority in Sudan are Muslim, with Christians making up only about 3% of the population, the rights group said. It's not the first time the treatment of Christians in Sudan has sparked international controversy. Last year, Mariam Yehya Ibrahim was sentenced to death in Sudan for refusing to renounce her Christian faith, after she was found guilty of charges pf apostasy, or leaving Islam and converting to Christianity, and adultery. She was subsequently cleared, freed and allowed to travel to the United States -- but not before she had given birth in prison while shackled. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/14/africa/sudan-women-indecent-dress-case/ |
Women and Children among 70 Found in ISIS Mass Grave... Kurdish forces of the Peshmerga found three mass graves of Yezidi victims in the northern countryside of Shingal area, north Iraq, following the withdrawal of the ISIS militants. A source from the Peshmerga command said that the recently found mass graves contained more than 70 corpses of Yezidi victims, including women and children, “who have been buried by ISiS militants after being summarily executed in northern Shingal”. “After our (Peshmerga) forces liberated the northern parts of Shingal, we discovered those mass graves,” the source said. “We are still searching the area to reveal the remnants of the barbaric crimes committed by Daesh (IS).” The dead bodies of the Yezidi victims were moved by the Peshmerga to a graveyard in Shingal in a funeral ceremony attended by the Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan, Nechervan Barzani, and some Yezidi officials. Yezidi politician Fatih Aziz said: “This is a new evidence on the Yezidi tragedy caused by Daesh terrorists. Finding those mass graves has depended our pain.” “Yezidis are exposed to all kinds of brutal practices by terrorists for their Kurdish ethnic affiliation and their religious believes,” he said. Thousands of Yezidis are still held by the terrorist group; most of them are women who have been taken by ISIS militants as sex slaves. http://en.abna24.com/service/middle-east-west-asia/archive/2015/08/15/705998/story.html |
Catch them Young... West Midlands primary school Muslim pupils on terror list Primary school pupils in the West Midlands have been identified as potential terrorists after they were caught drawing bombs in class and writing alarming messages. Seven under-12s have been placed on a list of those at risk of radicalisation or extremism. They join 94 teenagers who have also been singled out since 2012. As well as worrying behaviour in school, youngsters are placed on the list if they or their families are known to associate with suspected fanatics. The revelations were today described as ‘truly shocking’ by South Staffordshire MP Gavin Williamson. He said: “It is alarming that children at such a young age are at threat of radicalisation and that intervention is having to be taken to prevent attacks. “Not only is it truly shocking, but these figures show the enormous scale of the problem our police and security services face.” Those reporting the youngsters include teachers, youth workers, social workers, police officers and even their own parents. The figures – released under Freedom of Information law – reveal that 242 people, including 101 under-18s, from the West Midlands, Staffordshire, West Mercia and Warwickshire areas were referred to the government’s anti-terrorism programme. The Express & Star obtained details from the National Police Chiefs Council. The Express & Star asked councils in the Black Country for numbers referred to the anti-terrorism programme, which is called Channel. Dudley Council rejected the request, saying disclosure would lead to a ‘perceived’ lack of confidentiality and lead to a ‘disengagement’ with the programme. Wolverhampton council said it did not hold the information, Walsall Council said it was trying to confirm whether it had the figures, but even if it did they would not be released. Sandwell Council asked for more time to answer the request. The National Police Chiefs Council said: “The greatest threat the UK currently faces is from terrorists who claim to act in the name of Islam, and who target Muslims. Therefore prevention activity predominately takes place in and with Muslim communities.” Meanwhile, the Express & Star reveals today that Britain’s biggest travel firms are selling holidays to Tunisia despite the Foreign and Commonwealth Office advising against travel. Thomson and First Choice owner TUI has said the terrorist massacre had cost the firm up to £32 million. http://www.expressandstar.com/news/2015/08/14/west-midlands-primary-school-pupils-on-terror-list/ |

Muslim beats his wife in front of cops, says she is his “property” A Winnipeg man who allegedly assaulted his wife in front of police and told an officer he could do what he wants with “his property” is now fighting a bail order banning him from having any contact with the woman. “Even if her wish was to have contact with (the accused), the Crown would be strongly opposed to any variation of the bail,” Crown attorney Vuk Mitrovic told court Wednesday. In the presence of police, the accused “was undeterred in committing an assault on his wife,” Mitrovic said. “The attitude he demonstrated … should cause the court grave concern about the safety and protection of the public.” The accused, who is not being identified to protect the identity of the alleged victim, was arrested June 24 after police responded to a 911 call from his family’s Lorne Avenue apartment. The man has filed a motion to remove a bail condition prohibiting him from living with his wife and nine children pending resolution of his charges. “I have been away from my home and my family (for over a month),” the man told court through an interpreter. “This is a problem according to my faith to be away from my family.” Court was told the family fled their native Iraq for Syria before arriving in Winnipeg last February. The family suffered persecution from terrorist groups including al-Qaida. While in Syria, one of the man’s children was kidnapped and held for ransom. “The family is very strong in the Islamic religion and they have very strong cultural beliefs,” said defence lawyer Lincoln Atten. “The family is suffering on a daily basis. At one point, (the accused) was sleeping in a park near the home just to be close to his family.” Police were called to the man’s home after a report of a 911 hang-up call, Mitrovic told court. The man’s wife, who only speaks Arabic, indicated through hand gestures that he had hit her in the eye. Police were searching the man’s clothing when his wife kissed one of the officers on the hand, Mitrovic said. The accused then “grabbed her by the throat and violently shoved her.” Police arrested the man and took him into custody. In an interview with an Arabic-speaking police officer, the man said “he wanted to be locked up in a mental hospital and the key thrown away as he didn’t know what he would do to his wife,” Mitrovic told court. “He also said he doesn’t agree with Canadian laws and that his wife is his property and he can do what he wants with her,” Mitrovic said…. http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/08/canada-muslim-beats-his-wife-in-front-of-cops-says-she-is-his-property |
Manama: Saudi social media users have poured scorn on a fatwa that allowed young men married to ugly women to take drugs before intimate relations in order to have the delusion they are as beautiful as houris. The fatwa said that hallucinogenic drugs can be taken for 30 minutes during sexual intercourse and only by men who are less than 40 years old. The drugs can be used only in the evening, it added. “This is the ideal men who are unfortunately married with ugly-looking wives so that they can see them, under the effects of the drugs, as beautiful women, like Houris or lovely nymphs,” the fatwa said. Houri is a Quranic term referring to “to be beautifully dark-eyed” women in heaven. The origin of the religious edict is not known, although some users attributed it to a Moroccan figure, but it went viral on the Internet and sparked a huge debate in which most people expressed shock and sarcasm. Suroor, a blogger, said that drugs should never be allowed, regardless of the reason. "This fatwa is utter nonsense,” she said. “The men who believe their wives are not good looking and need to live an illusion, even if it is for fleeting minutes, can simply switch off the light and use their imagination to think she is a superstar,” she said. Dayem said the person behind the fatwa must be high on drugs when he issued it, even if it was for fun. “This means that we will next have a fatwa that says infidelity and cheating are permissible if they help solve marital problems,” he said. For Hala, ugliness is not physical, but moral. “When we talk about an ugly person, we should mean deficiency in moral standards and good manners, and not in good looks,” he said. “This fatwa is so ridiculous that it should not be dignified with comments,” he added. http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/saudi-arabia/saudis-pour-scorn-on-pro-drugs-fatwa-1.1566113 |
