Like I said , the 25% issue was only one of the prayers in the petition . Why would there be anarchy if the president was removed on the basis of one prayer but no anarchy if he was removed on the basis of the other four ?

Do I need to remind you that on the issue of the civil forfeiture, the current CJN had explicitly , in a ruling while he was a Justice of the Court of Appeal, stated that even if the defendant was not guilty of a crime , that forfeiture represents a loss of right , privilege or property; in order words punishment for a crime ?

These were the exact words of the then Justice of the Appeal Court, not CJN.

Thus the tribunal Justices had a precedence in law to nullify Tinubu’s presidency based on the forfeiture prayer in the petition as expressly guaranteed by Section 137 (d) of the 1999 constitution .

But this did not happen as the judges had an overriding interests in safeguarding their own lives based on the threats by the president.
