...@LIPSCOMB, the man in reference isn't the former vice chancellor of University of Ilorin, Prof Ishaq Oloyede. The Muric director is Prof Ishaq Akintola, they only bear same name, but different surname.

That being said, I just hope that choice of words of MURIC director will not provoke blood for another deadly revenge. As much as we condemn any condemnable action of whoever, under whatsoever guise, we must as well be careful of our choice of words, and it's timing. Now that it now look like normalcy is about to return to S/kaduna...

...taking a cursory look at this video, one should be able to decipher that, that AC isn't done because of the grave. looking at where he was buried, they did his grave side along with where probably his children and wife can discuss or take fresh air. if you can see, there are chairs there. Beside, he his not the first person to be buried in this manner, we have a lot of people.

...either valid or no valid reasons, everyone will always find one reason or the other life mustn't progress with this virus..

The earlier we realize that this virus has come to t, the better it is! We cannot continue to be like this until God knows when, we just have to find a way around it, to living with it until the time being. The new normal! Let's wake up to the reality, things isn't gonna be the same... Everyone should brace up..

Enough of all these excuses.. Life must continue! If we continue this way, everyone will always have one excuse or the other why this and that shouldn't open, reasons market shouldn't open, reasons church shouldn't open, reasons we must continue with the lockdown, reasons we mustn't move around, reasons for this, reasons for that. In fact, we would always have 1001 reasons we are not ready.

...with some state falling in tone and in line with the announcement of school reopening in Lagos state, one thing that I observed is, the state are defiling the PTF and NCDC directive because;
1. They are the one in control of their state, and they feel the heat of their citizens better than the FG is feeling it.
2. To some state, it is like the FG is short of ideas, and they, (the state) realizes that they cannot lock the state forever. At least, the state own institutions are other source of revenue for the state.
3. The FG has no control over the state owned institutions, the only thing they can do is to advice the governor....
4. It seems the states also j
realize that the virus has come to stay, rather, they have accepted the fact, and looking forward to a way of living with it by devising a means to cope with it (example is home care package of Lagos state government). This is one fact that it seems the FG is yet to realize.
Anyway, in all, may God lead us in the right direction.

Education / Re: Lagos Schools To Re-open In September, Says Sanwo-olu by Bitwilky(m): 6:08pm On Aug 29, 2020
Lagos state is the United State of our country, always taking that bold step. A leader, amongst leaders. You can't just whisk that state away. She is a pride of African states.

That being said, Lagos state had gotten to its peak of the virus, and the curve is beginning to bend downwards, hence, the need for the reopening of the state's institutions. The endless waiting is over, and other states are SOON LIKELY to follow suit.
I just want to commend the administrators of Lagos state, they all have done a well done job in managing this pandemic from inception. They realized that the pandemic is a to stay, while institutions cannot forever remain closed, hence, we have to device a means of coping and living with it, until the vaccine is out. Guess what, some countries vaccines are just a month or two to be ready...
The government had done what they consider their best in managing this pandemic, ours is to also play our part, and do our best, since they knew we can't be locked down forever. Man has to survive.

...please, continue with the exposé.

It is a shame at the shambles to which Kwara State is reduced to from the hand of made in Ogun, marketed in Kwara by MoneyMilkingMachine... If you know, you know!

Prior to the ascension of this present Kwara State Government, is there any sectors that is bastardized, from state owned institutions local government institutions. To mention but few, Kwara express, Kwara hotel, Songa farm, Kwara United, Kwasu, Kwara state polytechnic, Kwara Tv, Radio kwara, and so on. The only institution that wasn't bastardized by the previous government is their personal stomach...

My prayer, that the present governor will lay a foundation to which a new Kwara is being built, and will continue to grow. The stake is high, I hope he wouldn't be overwhelmed..

Education / Re: FG: Schools Remain Closed! Why Universities Are Not Reopening Yet by Bitwilky(m): 5:04am On Aug 25, 2020
...we are not denying the fact that there is covid-19 or not, but everything boils down on selfishness, personal interest, my before yours, just me and my family. The truth is, we are put our interest forward before others.
Government owned institutions are still behaving lackadaisically because they felt no pain, their salary is full and steady monthly, unlike the privates, no work, no pay. Slash the salary of those on the government part, since they are not working, and still receiving full salary, my brother, the story will change.
Human being always fill less concerned, I don't care attitude because they are not the one directly involved, let it be then, you will see the story changed.

FLASH: South-Africa with the highest number of covid-19 just open school for all classes yesterday... but here down naija, our Government and ASUU are still playing mind games. The government will say one thing, ASUU will say another...

...the problem is not with not having a degree.. There are three dimensions to it;
1. Does having a degree transform to performance, No?
2. Can't that degree be bought or gotten on a platter of gold, Yes, it can?
and
3. How do you determine with his or her degrees, and professional qualifications, that he or she will be the best candidate, that remains a guess for you and I.

Next line of action, investigate what led to his escape, and how he escaped from custody, who took what, and let some head roll?

OVERVIEW:
This is just pointing at the fact that, if the men of the law actually want to perform their duty, they will do it without any excuse or hindrance... What they need is, passion, dedication and commitment.

PDP are reaping what they sow from the inception of our Democracy. APC will soon reap theirs. Nothing in life is permanent, life and power are transient...

Besides, the EU, USA, and the likes have their hand full of their own problems.

Education / Re: If They Want To Kill Us, Let Them Kill Us”- Nigeria Students Protest by Bitwilky(m): 5:07pm On Aug 19, 2020
...the students are voicing out their opinion, on the government part is to listen.
That being said, the only issue I have with our so called leaders is, they look like they are short of ideas. Yes, they closed the school because of Covid-19, nobody faulted them at first, but where it became paramount is after they began to do the gradual easing process without considering the school, (those in final year) probably left with a semester, or a paper to go, then they are done.
In my opinion, what they should have done is, let the finalist first resume, as a means a gradual opening up of the school, just like it is being done for Senior Secondary School students, after they are done with the finalist, the whole institution can open, with regulated time table. For example, Monday's can be for a department, Tuesday's for another department, and so on and forth. Meaning the department that were in school on Monday have no business to come to school on Tuesday, follow suit to Wed, Thu, Fri.... This system will avail them the opportunity to practice physical distancing on campus by making use of the empty classes of the other departments that are not in school, instead of closing down the school without coming up with any idea as to how to open the school other than, "we shall open the school when it is safe to." The question is, when is the right time, and the safest time? This virus had come to stay, and it will not go anytime soon. The only solution is to diverse a means to start living with it, till the awaited vaccine is available. I just hope that our government is listening...

I wish the present registrar of Jamb, Prof Ishaq Oloyede is the current Minister of Education, the man with a technical know-how, not the other way round....
Well, our government will always live in denial, using ASUU strike as a cover up while school aren't resuming any moment from now.

Politics / Re: The Problem With Africa - A Must READ - Share Your Story by Bitwilky(m): 11:36pm On Aug 18, 2020
...true, the writer is right in the submission of his own opinion. haven said that, let me state the very obvious: "that is human nature, not necessarily the black man, though, this thought is very common with the blacks." The black hates blacks. That being said, from the inception of the world, human being had actually been the enemy of his fellow beings.. From Eve-Adam, from Cain-Abel, from Ishmael-Isaac, from Jacob-Esau, fromJoseph-his brothers, from Moses-Mariam, from Saul-David, etc.

Naturally, all human being are born with a bit of envy, strive, covetousness, jealousy, etc. It can be managed, depending on how your emotions played in. This is one quality the whites have over the blacks, they can stage manage their emotions. Black man, black skin, black mind, black thought, etc... but we are unique in our own very way.

Now to the whites, they share in this as well. They envy themselves too, but not to the point of death. They also wish that, that thing can be theirs, instead of their brothers'. For example, Have you ever seen Chelsea support an Arsenal in a final, = NO, despite the fact that they are brothers.
Have you ever seen Manchester City supports Manchester United in a final, = NO, despite the fact that they are brothers.
I think that explains my point... My personal opinion though!

Education / Re: COVID19: Schools Including Tertiary Institutions Will Resume When It Is Safe -FG by Bitwilky(m): 6:13pm On Aug 18, 2020
...when it is safe, is indirectly or probably saying when a vaccine is discovered. There is a conspiracy theory here, and the theory is, a vaccine had been discovered by Russia, but the world is brainwash to believe that, that is not the authentic vaccine they are waiting for. Vaccine from either USA, UK, or probably GERMANY.
A cursory look will tell us that this is a Western world conspiracy theory which the world is meant to believe against Russia, Nigeria inclusive. Our PTF/NCDC believe there is no vaccine yet, since USA is the only country our officials trust to declare a vaccine that/and will believe.
if you have followed this event very carefully, since the outbreak of this various, Nigeria had always been following the footsteps of the USA. When the USA looked down their economy, Nigeria follow suit, even where our cases were fewer, when they began gradual easing up of the economy, Nigeria also follow suit, when their domestic flights resumes, ours also resumed. So, what are we saying, Nigeria is only using the western world situation to determine theirs, which in every ramifications are not synonymous but antonym to each other. We must begin to look inwardly to make decisions as it affects our current situations, not using foreign policy as a yardstick or parameter for comparison and measurement. This is the main reason we are where we are today. We copy/we paste, even without editing.

I think from all the comments I have read so far, I never saw where anyone is claiming that he (ISRAEL ADESANYA) is a YORUBA, IGBO, or HAUSA breed, but we all called him Nigerian. This is a true spirit of oneness, the moment we start seeing ourselves as Nigerians, and not the other way round, the better. God bless NIGERIA.
